Bei diesem Gerät wird die Temperatur durch einen Mikroprozessor geregelt, der die Schwankungen auf ein Minimum reduziert, was bei
Arbeiten eine besonders gleichmäßig stabile Temperatur ermöglicht. Das optimiert das Wachs-Ergebnis und ist besonders vorteilhaft bei
der Verarbeitung von temperaturempfindlichen Spezial- und Rennwachsen.
Anschluss an das Stromnetz
Der Waxer benötigt 220 / 230 V und 50 Hz. Nach dem Anschließen an die Steckdose leuchtet die rote Lampe am Gehäuse als Kontrolle
der Stromversorgung. Während der Aufheiz- und Nachheizphase blinkt diese Lampe, nach erreichen vorgewählter Temperatur erlischt sie.
Temp.-Vorwahl und Anzeige
Der Profi-Waxer hat einen Temp.-Bereich von 90-160°. An der Frontseite des Gerätes befindet sich die digitale Anzeige für die Vorwahl
(Einstell-) und Arbeitstemperatur. Nach dem Anschließen des Gerätes leuchtet die Anzeige auf und drei Punkte zwischen den Ziffern
blinken ca. 10-15 sek. lang. Während dieser Zeit kann die Temperatur durch Drehen am Einstellrad in + oder – Richtung vorgewählt, bzw.
eingestellt werden.
Nach dieser kurzen Periode erlischt das Blinken der Punkte und die Anzeige schaltet auf Ist-Temperatur um. Nach ca. 2 min. ist die
eingestellte Temperatur erreicht und es kann mit dem Wachsen begonnen werden. Das Display zeigt dabei immer die Temperatur der
Sohle.
Soll während des Wachsens die Temperatur geändert werden, nur am Einstellrad in + oder – drehen, die Punkte blinken wieder und so
lange kann die Temperatur geändert werden.
Wachsen/Bügeln
Ski und Boards brauchen Wachs nicht nur um besser gleiten zu können, Wachs ist ganz besonders wichtig zum Schutz der Beläge gegen
Austrocknen und Verspröden. Hierzu ist Heißwachsen immer noch die optimale Wachsmethode, da nur dabei das Wachs tief genug in den
Belag eindringt, um beim Fahren lange genug vorzuhalten und bei der Lagerung den nötigen Schutz zu haben. Ein Ski oder Board sollte,
auch bei wenig Gebrauch, mind. zweimal pro Jahr heißgewachst werden.
Man verwendet dazu in der Regel ein Universal – (Grund) Wachs, das einen großen Temperatur – Bereich aufweist, da dieses als Basis-
Wachs dient, auf dem dann jeweils dass den Verhältnissen entsprechende Tageswachs (Creme oder Fluid) aufgetragen wird. Es kann
natürlich auch zum Bügeln ein „Minus“ oder „Plus“ – Wachs verwendet werden, was das Ergebnis noch optimiert.
So wird’s gemacht:
Nur in gut belüfteten Räumen arbeiten!!!
Der Ski / Board sollen Raumtemperaturen haben und werden flach liegend fixiert oder eingespannt. Die Lauffläche von groben Schmutz
reinigen, evtl. mit Metallklinge abziehen. Wax-Ex oder Belagreiniger gleichmäßig auf trockenen Belag auftragen und 5 – 10 min. einwirken
lassen. Dann nochmals abziehen und mit Vlies oder faserfreiem Tuch abwischen und etwas trocknen lassen. Zur besseren Wachs-
Aufnahme kann der Belag mit einer Bronzebürste, von der Spitze zum Ende, leicht „aufgebürstet“ werden. Darauf achten, dass dabei auf
dem Belag keine Fasern entstehen.
Das Wachsgerät anheizen, die Sohle dabei immer senkrecht stellen! Bei regelbaren Geräten die Temperatur so wählen, dass das Wachs
leicht schmilzt, aber nicht zu rauchen beginnt. In diesem Fall die Temperatur reduzieren. Den Wachser nun mit der Sohle aufrecht oder
schräg über den Ski / Board halten, das Wachs in Kreisbewegungen daran aufschmelzen und in Schlangenlinie über den Belag verteilen.
Dann das Wachsgerät wie ein Bügeleisen, langsam und gleichmäßig von der Spitze zum Ende ziehen. Nie auf den Belag stehen lassen,
dieser wird sonst geschädigt. Die Geschwindigkeit so wählen, dass hinter dem Wachsgerät ein ca. 20 cm lange flüssiger Wachsfilm
(Spiegel) entsteht und mitfährt.
Das Brett auf Raumtemperatur abkühlen lassen und überschüssiges Wachs mit einer Plexi-Wachsabziehklinge abziehen (Der Überschuss
kann wieder verwendet werden). Nach weiterem abkühlen, mit faserfreiem Tuch oder Papiervlies einreiben. Für besseres Gleiten, bei
kalter Witterung mit einer feinen Rosshaar-Bürste bei 0°oder Plusgraden, mit einer Nylon-Bürste nachbü rsten.
Zur Sommerlagerung nach der letzten Abfahrt, bügeln mit Universalwachs nicht vergessen!! Das Wachs wird in diesem Fall nicht
abgezogen!
Warnhinweise:
Das Wachsgerät nur unter Aufsicht betreiben! Kinder fernhalten! Evtl. entstehende Dämpfe nicht einatmen. In gut gelüfteten Räumen
arbeiten. Bei Verlassen des Platzes unbedingt Netzstecker ziehen, bzw. Wachser abschalten. Bei Unterbrechung Wachser sofort
hochkant aufstellen. Nach Gebrauch Netzstecker ziehen und Wachser abkühlen lassen. Die Sohle des Wachsers kann mit SKS Wax-Ex
gereinigt werden. Wasser oder Schnee dürfen nicht in das Gerät kommen. Bei Defekt, Gerät nur vom Fachmann öffnen lassen.
Warning:
Keep appliance out of reach of small children. Only allow young people to use appliance under supervising. Always pull out plug, even
when leaving the workshop for a short time. When stopping work stand the Combi-Waxer upright and pull out plug immediately after use.
Important – Water and snow must not penetrate the appliance – (short circuit risk).

Non Lasciare mai incusto ditto l´apparecchio, puando puesto é in funzione. Tenerlo lontano dalla patata dei bambini. La spina, di
allacciamento alla rete elettrica va estratt anche se si esce solo per pochi istanti dal locale nel quale viene utilizzato l´apparecchio.
Attentione ! L´ acqua e la neve non devono penetrare nell` apparecchio (pericolo di corto circuito)°

Instructions for Use :
The Iron has been designed for the hot application of ski waxes on ski waxes on skis and snowboards. The temperature of the heating
plate is controlled with a microprocessor which verifies ten times every second the exact correspondence with the temperature selected.
The output power available, the rapid electronic control, and the calibrated heating plate guarantee and maintain a constant temperature
control all during the waxing process, avoiding damage to ski bases or the alteration of the waxes to be applied.
Function:
Connect the waxing iron plug to wall socket and turn the knob left or right until you read the display number that corresponds to the
temperature desired. After a few seconds, the electronic control will terminate the programming phase, and the digital indicator of the
temperature will show the exact temperature of the heating plate. It is necessary to wait about two minutes for the heating plate to reach
the programmed temperature, and it is possible to start the waxing operation. The microprocessor has a permanent memory; therefore
each time you turn the iron, the last temperature selected will appear on the display.
Application of wax ski/snowboard base:
The suggested process of waxing is to melt the wax by holding the piece of wax with one hand and the waxing iron in the other over the
ski/board base, allowing the wax to drip on the entire length of the base. When you have dripped on the whole base, melt down the wax by
passing the waxing iron over the ski/board base from the tip to the other and of the ski/board without applying pressure.
The best temperature for each wax application is indicated on every package of the wax program. After each use, it is best to unplug the
waxing iron, and to clean the plate of the iron with a dry cloth before it is completely cooled. Never use abrasive pads, or solvents, or
inflammable products for cleaning the waxing iron plate.
Caution: Please read and follow all safety instructions before use!

-Before use, check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage shown on the serial plate
-Check that cable and plug are not damaged to avoid burns to skin, electric shocks, or fire.
-Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands
-Do not pull the power cable of the appliance to remove the plug from the socket.
-Do not leave the iron unattended when it is switched on.
-Do not expose the appliance to atmospheric agents (rain, snow, sun, etc.)
-Do not permit the iron to be used by children or uncupable without guidance.
-It is unadvisable to use adopters, multiple sockets, and or extensions. In the cases in which this is unavoidable, always use
adopters, multiple sockets, and extensions which comply with current safety norms. Do not exceed the maximum power rating
shown on the adopter.
-The power cable must not be replaced by the user. If the power cable is damaged, contact an authorized service center.
-Do not allow the power cable to come into contact with the hot iron plate.
-Handle the waxing iron with care and do not drop.
-After use, permit waxing iron to completely cool before replacing in the box.
-The waxing iron, when turned on but not in use, must remain in vertical position, standing on the support legs.
-The iron must be used exclusively for waxing skis. Any other use of the appliance is considered improper and therefore
dangerous.
-The manufacturer declines all responsibility for any damage resulting from the improper, incorrect, or careless use of the iron.
-The iron must not be wasted, but recycled according to local regulations.
Guarantee Conditions:
The Ski Waxer is produced with top quality material and has been tested release to the market. In the event of a fault in material or
construction, the product will be substituted by the producer.
The guarantee is valid for twelve months from the date of purchase and must comply to the following conditions:
The waxing iron must be used properly
The waxing iron must not show signs of tampering or modification of original components.
The repair or request of substitution must be presented with the certificate of guarantee.
