IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
yIf an oven re occur, leave the oven door closed and turn the oven o.
If the re continues, throw baking soda on the re or use a re extinguisher.
yIf an oven re occur, DO NOT put water or our on the re. Flour may be explosive
and water can spread a grease re and cause personal injury.
yDO NOT use the broiler pan without the grid. DO NOT cover the grid with
aluminum foil.
yDo not use plastic to cover food. Use foil or oven resistant lids only.
yIf the oven is heavily soiled with oil, self clean the oven before using the oven
again. The oil could cause a re.
yWipe up heavy soil on the bottom of the oven before using the Self Clean function.
yUse proper pan sizes. For smaller pots and pans, use the smaller heating elements.
For larger pots and pans, use the larger heating elements. Select utensils that have at
bottoms large enough to cover the heating elements. The use of undersized utensils will
expose a portion of the heating element to direct contact and may result in ignition of
clothing.
yNever leave surface units unattended at high heat settings. Overboiling cause
smoking and spillovers of grease that may ignite.
yGlazed cooking utensils. Only certain types of glass, glass/ceramic, ceramic,
earthenware, or other glazed utensils are suitable for a range-top service without
breaking due to the sudden change in temperature.
yUtensil handles should be turned inward and not extend over adjacent surface
units. To reduce the risk of burns, ignition of ammable materials, and spillage due to
unintentional contact with the utensil, the handle of a utensil should be positioned so
that it is turned inward, and does not extend over adjacent surface units.

yAccessible parts may become hot when the grill is in use.
yDuring normal operation (self-clean cycle, bake, etc.) DO NOT touch the hot
surface between the bottom of the oven door and the top of the drawer on the
front of the oven. Doing so is a burn hazard and will cause injury.
yNever let a child hang on the oven door.
yDo not allow children to crawl into the oven.
CAUTION
yDO NOT leave small children unattended near the oven.
yDuring the self clean cycle, the outside of the oven can become very hot to the touch.
yNEVER leave children alone or unsupervised near the appliance when it is in use
or is still hot. Children should never be allowed to sit or stand on any part of the
appliance as they could be injured or burned.
