temperatures may result and many floor coverin s
will not withstand this kind of use.
Never install the ran e over vinyl tile or linoleum that
cannot withstand such type of use. Never install it
directly over interior kitchen carpetin .
•DO NOT leave children alone or unattended where
a ran e is hot or in operation. They could be
seriously burned.
•DO NOT let anyone climb, stand or han on the
oven door, warmin drawer or cooktop. They could
dama e the ran e and even tip it over, causin
severe personal injury.
•NEVER wear loose fittin or han in arments while
usin the appliance. Be careful when reachin for
items placed in cabinets over the ran e. Flammable
material could be i nited if brou ht in contact with
flame or hot oven surfaces and may cause severe
burns.
•DO NOT place flammable materials in an oven, a
warmin drawer or near a cooktop.
•DO NOT place or use combustible materials such as
asoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in
the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
•DO NOT allow cookin rease or other flammable
materials in or near the ran e.
•DO NOT use water on rease fires. Never touch a
flamin pan. Turn the controls off. Smother a flamin
pan on a surface burner by coverin the pan
completely with a well-fittin lid, cookie sheet or flat
tray. Use a multi-purpose dry chemical or foam-type
fire extin uisher.
A rease fire can be put out by coverin it with
bakin soda or, if available, by usin a multi-purpose
dry chemical or foam-type fire extin uisher.
Flame in the upper oven or lower oven drawer can
be smothered completely by closin the oven door
or drawer and turnin the control to off or by usin a
multi-purpose dry chemical or foam-type fire
extin uisher.
•DO NOT use the oven or the drawer for stora e.
•Let the burner rates and other surfaces cool before
touchin them.
•NEVER block the vents (air holes) of the ran e.
They provide the air inlet and outlet that are
necessary for the ran e to operate properly with
correct combustion. Air openin s are located at the
rear of the cooktop, at the top and bottom of the
oven door, and at the bottom of the ran e under the
warmin drawer.
•Lar e scratches or impacts to lass doors can lead
to broken or shattered lass.
•Steppin , leanin or sittin on the doors or drawers
of this ran e can result in serious injuries and also
cause dama e to the ran e. Do not allow children to
climb or play around the ran e. The wei ht of a child
on an open door may cause the ran e to tip,
resultin in serious burns or other injury.
•Leak testin of the appliance shall be conducted
accordin to the manufacturer’s instructions.
