Fitting the Blades (Fig. 2)
UseListerorWahlbladesforthe
bestfitandperformance.
Bladesaremanufacturedinpairs,
theymustbekeptandusedinpairs
toincreasetheirlife.
1. Disconnectfrompowersource.
2. Turntheclipperupside-downand
carefullyfittopbladetotheclipperhead.
Thecrankrollermustbelocatedinthe
socketofthetopblade.
3. Fitthebottomblade,ensuringthe2
holesarefittedoverthe2pegs.
4. Insertthetensionboltthroughthe
centralhole.
5. Fitthetensionspringoverthetension
bolt,andscrewthetensionnutdown
tight.
6. Setthe“Tension”(seebelow).

1. Screwthetensionnutdownbyhand
untilitstops(4A).
2. Usingthemarkeronthetensionnutas
aguide,slackenthetensionnutbackoff
by11/2turnstosetthetension.

fExcessivetensionwillbluntand
overheattheblades.
fInsufficienttensionwillreduce
cuttingperformanceandleadto
cloggedblades.
Lubrication (Fig. 4)
fBrushexcesshairfromthebladesand
clipper.
fOilthebladesevery5-10minuteswhen
clipping,use“R15”oil.Brieflyrunthe
appliancetospreadtheoil,thenswitch-
offandwipeawayanyexcessoil.
1. Oilbetweenthecutterpoints,pointing
theheadupwardstospreadtheoil
betweentheblades.
2. Oilthesurfacesbetweentheclipper
headandthetopblade.
3. Oilthecutterbladeguidechannelfrom
bothsidesorviathetwoholes,tiltingthe
headsidewaystospreadtheoil.
4. Oiltheheelofthecutterbladefrom
bothsides,tiltingtheheadsidewaysto
spreadoilovertherearbladesurfaces.
5. Oilthecrankshaftandrollerviathe
centralhole.
