SECTION 2
GETTING
STARTED

AQ10 + AQ11 QUICK START
Make sure the Lock Switch is flipped to unlocked
Press the Power button until you hear chimes
AQ10 + AQ11 automatically go into pairing mode, and the Pair LED blinks
Go to your device’s Bluetooth settings, pick LIFEPROOF AQ10 or LIFEPROOF AQ11 and follow the
manufacturer’s pairing instructions
When you connect, the speaker chimes and the Pair LED slowly pulses
To connect a different device, press the Pair button until it blinks and chimes, and follow the
same steps
Pick a track and hit Play
Use the Volume Up, Volume Down, Back and Forward buttons to control the music
Press Play to pause the music — press it again to resume
Press and hold the Power button until you hear a chime to turn AQ10 + AQ11 off

SECTION 3
DRYBOX

AQ10 + AQ11 DRYBOX
To open the Drybox, slide the latch and pull up on the lid
Stash your stuff in the compartment — it’s watertight when fully closed
Use the 3.5 mm Auxiliary Audio Jack and USB ports to connect small, Wi-Fi devices and other audio
sources
To close, slide the latch, push down on the lid until seated and release the latch

EXTERNAL
AUDIO SOURCES

AQ10 + AQ11 AUDIO SOURCES
AQ10 + AQ11 have two 3.5 mm Auxiliary Audio Jacks to stream by wire — one on the right side and
one in the Drybox
To use, connect a compatible cable from the audio source to the speaker
Press the Source button to switch between audio sources
Press the Source button again to return to your Bluetooth source

LOCK
SWITCH

LOCKING AQ10 + AQ11
Once you have your settings dialed in, you can lock them down with the Lock Switch
Flip the Lock Switch to the Locked icon to shut down button functions
Flip it to the Unlocked icon to bring function back
If a call comes through while Locked, flip to Unlocked to answer

SECTION 6
CHARGING
SPEAKER

CHARGING AQ10 + AQ11
Use the included 12V, 2A power adaptor to charge AQ10 + AQ11 (indoors only)
The Power Level LEDs light up to show the charging progress — each illuminated LED represents
approximately 25% of capacity
Disconnect the power adaptor when AQ10 + AQ11 reaches 100% charge
To check the power level, press the Power button and count the illuminated LEDs

CHARGING
DEVICES

CHARGING DEVICES
AQ10 + AQ11 let you charge out to mobile devices
Connect the charge cable from the device to the USB port on the side of your speaker or in the Drybox
Note: when the Drybox is open, AQ10 + AQ11 are not WaterProof
Tap the Power button to start charging out — the charge icon appears on your device
When the device hits 100%, charging stops automatically
For AQ10 only, volume is limited while charging out to extend playtime — if the charging stops
because the volume’s too high, lower the volume and press power to start charging again
Note: The speakers do not support charge out from both ports simultaneously

HANDSFREE
CALLING

HANDSFREE CALLS
When you’re connected to AQ10 + AQ11, you can take calls through the speaker
As the call comes in, the music stops and AQ10 + AQ11 turn into speakerphones
Press Play to answer
When the call ends, press Play to hang up — the music picks back up
Note: mic is located under the front metal grille
