Hello
Lightcloud Blue is a Bluetooth mesh wireless lighting control
system that allows you to control RAB’s various compatible
devices. With RAB’s patent-pending Rapid Provisioning
technology, devices can be quickly and easily commissioned
for residential and large commercial applications using the
Lightcloud Blue mobile app. Each device in a system can
communicate with any other device, eliminating the need for
a Gateway or Hub and maximizing the control system’s reach.

specically designed for RAB Lightcloud Blue Lamps.

• Only install in operating environments between -22°F and 140°F (-30°C
to 60°C). Only use the control provided with or specied by these
instructions to control this lamp. This lamp will not operate properly
when connected to a standard (incandescent) dimmer or dimming
control. CAUTION - RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. Do not use if outer lamp
envelope is damaged or broken.
• WARNING - Risk of re or electric shock. LED Retrot Kit installation
requires knowledge of luminaires electrical systems. If not qualied, do
not attempt installation. Contact a qualied electrician.

that have the construction features and dimensions shown in the
photographs and/or drawings and where the input rating of the retrot
kit does not exceed the input rating of the luminaire.
• Do not make or alter any open holes in an enclosure of wiring or

wiring to edges of sheet metal or other sharp objects.

construction may require additional Lightcloud Blue

panel or remove the fuse from the fuse box.

Install the Lightcloud Blue Lamp
• Remove old ballast or disconnect from existing
lampholder. Remove and dispose of ballast in correct
manner. Shown as Figure 1. (North America 120-277VAC)

• Select power and CCT of new LED replacement lamp
before installation.
• Install new LED replacement lamp. Shown as Figure 3.
Please make sure the old tting is correctly earth. Attach
retrot label to luminaire. (North America 120-277VAC)
• Securely fasten the earth y lead cable to the main body
structure. If the cable are damaged in any way please
replace. (Do not use existing burnt out cables)
The cable if need replacement must be 1.0mm in size
and insulated from heat.

Connect device to power.
Remove plastic plug from lamp, then insert
Lightcloud Blue Plug-In Controller into interface.
For rst time use, the lamp will be ready to pair to
the Lightcloud Blue app. Power on the lamp to enter
pairing mode. While pairing, the lamp will ash on/o
5x and then dim and ash on/o 3x to indicate that it
has been paired as an Ungrouped Device in the
Lightcloud Blue app.

Safety Cable Installation Instruction
You must use the safety cable to tight the lamps
in case of falling down due to old socket.

Controlling your Lightcloud
Blue Device
Conrm your device is powered on.

Download the Lightcloud Blue app from the Apple®
App Store or Google® Play store.
Tap the "add device" icon in the app to
start connecting devices.
Follow the remaining steps in the app. Create areas,
groups, and scenes to organize and control your devices.
You're all set!
Launch the App and create an account.

To restore your Lightcloud Blue Field-Adjustable High Bay to
factory settings, use the following methods.
Setting Device to Pairing Mode
Method 1: Delete from App
Open the app and access the device settings for the paired
device. Be sure that the lamp is online and select "Delete".
Lightcloud
Method 2: Manual
Power the lamp o and on 5 times consecutively.
Do not allow less than 1 second and more than
10s elapse before switching o and keep o for
at least 3s before switching on. The lamp will
ash 3 times, then reset to 100% brightness at
default CCT.
Method 3: Rapid Reset Tool
The rapid reset process must be done by professional
electricians qualied by RAB. Reach out to your
RAB sales manager to request a Rapid Reset Tool.
The tool simply needs to be placed directly on
the Lightcloud Blue Plug-In Controller for
2 seconds. The lamp will ash 3 times, then
reset to 100% brightness at default CCT.
