This symbol defines the minimum distance
of the object to be illuminated.
For environmental reasons, please recycle the
packaging correctly.
A new product can sometimes lead to unwanted odours
or to minimal smoke development for a short period of
time. This reaction is normal and disappears after a few
minutes.
The unit is intended for indoor use only (IP20)! Please
use the device only in a dry environment. Keep the unit
away from rain, moisture, direct heat and dust.
In order to avoid condensation in the device, the device
should adapt to the ambient temperature before start-
up.
Please place the device in a well ventilated place, out of
the reach of flammable materials or liquids.
Do not cover any ventilation openings as this may
result in overheating.
Please disconnect the power plug if the unit is not to be
used for a long period of time or if maintenance work is
to be carried out.
The device is designed for a maximum ambient
temperature of 40° Celsius.

The device should not be installed by inexperienced
persons and must be installed in compliance with the
mechanical and electrical safety regulations in your
country.

If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced
immediately with an original spare part from the
manufacturer.

Make sure that the mains voltage is not higher than the
voltage indicated on the housing.

In case of a malfunction of the device, please contact your
dealer and stop the operation of the device immediately.

A minimum distance of 1m to flammable materials or
liquids must be maintained.

OVERHEAD MOUNTING
The installation may only be carried out by qualified
personnel. Improper installation can cause serious injury
and damage. Observe the load limits of the selected
installation position.

Make sure that there are no unauthorized persons
underneath the device during assembly or
disassembly/maintenance.

Intended use:
The product LightmaXX Vector Fog 1.5 is used exclusively for the generation of artificial fog by
vaporizing the filled fog fume. The device may only be used for this purpose and in accordance
with the operating instructions. Other purposes as well as operation under other operating
conditions are expressly not intended and can lead to damage to property or personal injury! No
liability is assumed for damage resulting from improper use.
It must be ensured that the device is operated exclusively by trained and competent users who are
in full possession of their mental, physical and sensory abilities. The use of other persons is
expressly only permitted at the request of a person responsible for their safety, who instructs or
supervises the use.

Safety instructions:
DANGER! (For babies and children)
Packaging, plastic films and other packaging materials must be properly stored or
disposed of. They must be kept out of the reach of babies and children due to the risk of
suffocation.
Make sure that children never use the device unattended! In addition, make sure that
children do not remove any (small) parts from the device, as they could suffocate by
swallowing them!
DANGER! (Electrical shock due to high voltages in the device)
Do not remove the housing. There are no parts to be maintained in the device. Inside the
device there are components which are under high electrical voltage.
The device must not be used as soon as damage or the absence of components,
protective devices or housing parts is noticed!
DANGER! (Electric shock caused by short circuit)
Modifications to the power cord or plug are prohibited. Failure to do so may result in fire
or death due to electric shock!
NOTE! (Fire hazard)
Ensure that the unit is not exposed to a direct source of heat and is used away from open
fire. Never cover or tape any ventilation slits or the device itself.
NOTE! (Operating conditions)
Due to its structural characteristics, the device is designed for indoor use. Never expose
the device to rain, moisture or liquids as this may cause damage. Vibrations, dirt or
sunlight can also cause damage - avoid them!
NOTE! (Power supply)
It is essential that you check that the device voltage matches your local mains voltage. It
is strongly recommended that you fuse your mains socket with a residual current circuit
breaker (FI).
If you do not use your device for a longer period of time, disconnect it from the mains.

Installation:
Be sure to check the unit for damage before using it. Optimally, use the original packaging or
suitable transport or storage packaging to protect the product from dust, moisture, etc. when not
in use.
The unit can be installed upright or suspended. The device must always be attached to a solid,
approved carrier or a suitable surface. The opening in the product bracket must be used to fasten
the device. Always provide a second, independent safety device for the device, e.g. a safety
device.
WARNING! (Risk of injury due to falling down)
It must be ensured that the installation of the device complies with all legal standards and
regulations in the respective country of use. It must be ensured that the device is always
secured by a second fastening (e.g. Safety).
NOTE! (Risk of overheating)
The max. permissible ambient temperature of this device is 40° C.
Make sure that the device is always adequately ventilated.
NOTE! (Using tripods)
As soon as the unit is mounted on a tripod, it must always be ensured that it stands
securely and securely. Make sure that the maximum permissible load capacity of your
tripods is not exceeded.
NOTE! (Error during data transmission)
Never connect the DMX input or output to audio devices such as power amplifiers or
mixing consoles!
DMX cables enable trouble-free operation and the highest possible transmission reliability
of signal data. Do not use a microphone cable.
Commissioning:
Connect the product to the power supply and then turn it on. Wait until the heating element has
reached the operating temperature. The control is now either via DMX, remote control or via
operation on the device itself.
It is imperative that you ensure that all cables used for commissioning (power and control) are
subject to the applicable regulations and are undamaged. Place the product in a safe, ventilated
place.
Ensure that untrained personnel do not have access to the product. Maintain a minimum distance
of 50 cm from walls and only operate the fog machine on suitable, non-combustible surfaces.
When installing on trusses, always use a safety rope that complies with the regulations and
approved sling material.

Remote control:
Please connect the radio receiver to the device. The wireless remote control has 4 buttons. You
can adjust the function of the wireless remote control via the display settings.
Press the "MENU" button. "Reno" is displayed. Press the "ENTER" button when "Reno" appears on
the screen (Reno means remote control). Then you can set functions for these 4 radio buttons
with the "UP / DOWN" buttons.
The display shows 3 functions:
1. gEAr (A:25%, B50%, C:75%, D:100% output)
2. CH1, CH2, CH3, CH4
a. CH1 This machine only works with the A key.
b. CH2 This machine only works with the B key.
c. CH3 This machine only works with the C key.
d. CH4 This machine only works with the D key.
The machine is turned on after pressing the selected button for 3 seconds. After
pressing the button again for 3 seconds, the function is switched off.

DMX operation:
Configuration of the DMX connector:
Resistance 120 ohm // 1/4w between pin 2 (DMX-) and pin 3 (DMX+) of the last fixture.
Operating mode:
The LightmaXX Vector Fog 1.5 can be operated in 1 channel mode. Please connect the fog
machine to your DMX controller/interface. The connection is made via a 3-pin DMX cable with XLR
connectors. Please make sure that the machine is in DMX mode and use the "Up" and "Down"
buttons to set the desired DMX address.

Cleaning:
A regular cleaning of the device from impurities and dust increases the durability
of the product. Always disconnect the device from the power supply while cleaning it.
Optical lenses should be cleaned with a dry microfiber cloth. This also optimizes the light output.
Never clean the device wet! Ventilation grilles and openings should always be cleaned of dust and
dirt. Compressed air sprays are ideal for this application.
In addition, regular cleaning of the lines and nozzles is strongly recommended, e.g. with
LightmaXX cleaning fluid (LIG0010221-000/250 ml). Please use only high quality cleaning
fluids!
Environmental protection:
The company MUSIC STORE professional GmbH always strives to reduce the burden of packaging
to a minimum. The use of environmentally friendly and recyclable materials is always of
elementary importance. Please complete the packaging after use to the appropriate recyclings.
Disposal of packaging:
Ensure that paper packaging, plastic material, etc. are recycled separately. Observe the
labels and the corresponding regulations.
Disposal of batteries:
Batteries do not belong in the garbage! Please dispose of batteries in accordance with
official regulations at collection points or disposal stations.
Disposal of your old device:
This device is subject to the WEEE directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)
in its currently valid form. The device must not be disposed of with normal household
waste.
The device must be disposed of by an approved disposal company or by the responsible
municipal disposal office. The regulations applicable in your country must be observed!
