WARNING! The maximum permitted weight of person
using the swing chair is 60 kg.
WARNING! This product is intended for home use. The
swing shall be used by one (1) person at a
time.
WARNING! Ensure that the hooks will be attached
to a bearing part of a ceiling. Consult an
expert in uncertainty.
WARNING! Avoid placing the swing over hard floor/
ground materials such as asphalt, concrete or
glazed tile. A shock-absorbing padding under
the swing is recommended for use.
THIS INSTALLATION MANUAL WILL GUIDE
YOU THROUGH THE INSTALLATION OF A
LILLAGUNGA SWING TO A CEILING.
REQUIRED
TOOLS
A power drill, and a drill bit
(type and size dependant on hook model)
A pencil
Ladders, a tall chair or similar to reach the ceiling
A measuring tape
INSTALLATION
1. Reserve at least 2 m in front/behind, and at least
1 m on both sides of the swing seat.
2. Use the ladders to reach the ceiling. Make sure
that the ladders are stable and stand firmly,
drilling vertically may distract your balance.
3. Use a measuring tape and mark two points at
about 50 cm apart from each other. Drill two
holes, and screw the hooks into the ceiling.
4. Rotate the ends of the hooks pointing to the side,
linear with the swing seat (fig. 2, the arrow
indicating direction of swinging)
5. Make sure that both hooks are tightly in place.
6. Test before use.
ATTACHING THE
SWING SEAT
1. Attach the swivels on the hooks (fig. 2)
2. Attach the swing seat onto the ropes
3. Pass the rope in each groove on the side of the
chair (fig. 3)
4. Loop back the rope from under the chair over the
side groove (fig. 4)
5. Tighten the rope by pressing down on the chair
(fig. 5)
THE PATENTED ROPE ATTACHMENT MEHANISM OF A
LILLAGUNGA SWING MAKES IT QUICK AND EASY TO
REMOVE THE SWING SEAT TEMPORARILY.
