PROPERTIES & ADVANTAGES
The CDR series core drill stands are designed as sturdy core drill stands for the daily use on the construction site.
The CDR series is attractive due to its universal operating options from the left or right side of the drill stand. The
feed can conveniently be controlled using the hand crank cross or an open-ended spanner or ratchet wrench.
Stable 4-point steel base plate
Torsion-resistant drill column
Suitable for holes up to 45°/30°
60 mm clamping collar or motor mounting plate
2-way spirit levels for precise alignment of the drill stand
300 mm handle for all installation work on the drill stand
hand crank cross operated from either side with a 1:1 direct ratio
Precise adjustment of the drill stand via four levelling screws.
Sliders and rollers made of damping PU material with maintenance-free grooved bearings.
Ergonomic carrying handle - for simple handling on the construction site.

Preface The handling of the machine and its intended application possibilities are explained in this operating
manual.
This operating manual contains important information on how to operate the machine safely, properly
and economically. Compliance to the information in this operating manual contributes to the avoidance
of hazards, repair costs and downtimes, as well as increases the reliability and service life of the
machine.
Supplements or modifications to this operating manual due to existing national regulations for accident
prevention and for environmental protection are possible without prior notice.
This operating manual must always be available at the location of use.
All persons who perform work with this machine must read this operating manual thoroughly and
follow the instructions contained in it. This applies to the following work, among other things:
Work including setting up the machine, troubleshooting during execution of work, removing
waste as a result of drilling work, machine maintenance, and removal of work material.
Maintenance (service, inspection, repair etc.)
In addition to the specifications and instructions in this operating manual and the valid legal
regulations for accident prevention in the country of use and place of use, recognised work and safety
regulations must also be complied with.
Required core drill motor In order to operate the core drill rig, a LISSMAC core drill motor must be inserted into the core drill rig.
Motors from other manufacturers must correspond as far as possible to the recommended LISSMAC
motors in terms of dimensions, weight and power.
Changes and reservations We attempt for this operating manual to be correct and up-to-date. To maintain our technological lead,
it can be necessary to change the product without advance notice and to perform their operation. We
accept no liability for malfunctions, breakdowns and damage caused by this.
Target group This manual is intended for professional operators in the field of concrete drilling and cutting.

3.1. Intended use
The manufacturer and supplier assume no liability for inappropriate use or usage other than the
intended use. No alterations may be made to the machine unless carried out by the manufacturer.
The machine is designed and built to the state-of-the-art and the acknowledged safety regulations.
Nevertheless, there may be dangers to life and limb for the user or third parties, damages to the
machine or other property items.
The machine may only be used when it is error-free, in the intended manner, in a safety-conscious and
risk-aware manner and in accordance with the operating manual. In particular, faults which can affect
safety must be corrected immediately.
Intended use The LISSMAC Core Drill stand is used as a guiding and fastening aid for a LISSMAC Core Drill Motor.
A LISSMAC Core Drill Motor with a diamond core bit approved for it must be used for drilling. The
operating manual of the core drill motor must be observed! The core drill stand is exclusively intended
for commercial use.
Intended use also includes compliance with the operating manual and observance of inspection and
maintenance manual.
Non-intended use Foreseeable misapplications / non-intended use:
Drilling of wood, plastic or metal and other materials
Incorrect or insufficient fastening of the core drill stand
Drilling in walls and ceilings without additional support
Any constructional changes, which change the safety or the type of design.
3.2. Organisational measures
The operating manual must be kept permanently and easily accessible at the location of the core drill stand.
All additions to the operating manual, all generally valid legal and otherwise binding regulations for accident
prevention and environmental protection are to be followed and instructed!
Personnel assigned to activities on the machine must have read the operating manual (particularly the Safety
Instructions chapter) before starting work.
At the presence of safety-related changes to the machine or the running behaviour, stop the machine immediately
and report the problem to the responsible post/person!
No changes, removal or addition of parts without the written approval of the manufacturer.
The instructions of the tool manufacturer must be followed.
Only use original replacement parts from the manufacturer.
Keep intervals for service work which are specified or given in the operating manual! Workshop equipment
suitable for the work is absolutely necessary for performing maintenance actions.

3.3. Personnel choice and personnel qualification; basic responsibilities
Only qualified personnel 18 years of age or older may operate the machine independently. All personnel must be
trained in the operation and be explicitly authorized by the company to operate the machine.
Make sure that only authorized personnel works at the machine.
The operator must wear personal safety equipment according to the safety regulations, such as safety shoes,
safety gloves and safety glasses.
Remaining in the working area unnecessarily is prohibited! Direct unauthorised personnel, who are not working on
the machine, away from the work area. Block off the working area, if necessary.
During all movements, operating personnel must ensure that they and other people are not endangered. All
obstacles which may hinder the operation or implementation of the machine at the location of use must be moved
out of the way. Drilling cores must absolutely be secured from falling down.
Any personnel training, learning, being instructed, or currently involved in general education may only work under
the continual supervision of an experienced person!
3.4. Safety instructions for operation phases
3.4.1. Transport, assembly and installation
Disconnect from power source before transport and setup.
Transport drill stand only with the core drill motor removed.
Tighten all movable parts on the machine before transport.
