"Steam shot" can also be appiied when holding the iron in a vertical position, so this is
useful for removing creases from hung clothes, curtains, etc.
The iron has an anti-drip function: if ironing garments for a long time, soleplate
temperature will drop and the lron will stop producing steam automatically so that ho

soluble sodium ions so water is softened-this slows down the rate of calcium deposits.
IRONINGTIPS
2.
1. Always check first whether a label with.ironing instructions is attached to the article.
Follow these ironing instructions in any case. lf no ironing-instruction label is
provided, but you know the fabric material, please refer to the table below for
d irection.
lf you do not know what kind of fabric an article is made ol determine the right
ironing temperature by ironing a part that will not be visible when you wear of use
the article.
The table below is not applicable to those fabrics through special treatment (e.g.
shining, frill, projecting etc.) Use low temperature for these particular fabrics.
Always at first divide the clothes according to ironing temperatures. Woolen fabrics
and cotton fabrics etc. should be ironed separately.
The iron heats up quicker than cooling down; therefore, you should start ironing the
articles requiring the lowest temperature such as those made of synthetic fiber.
lf the fabric consists of various kinds of fibers, you must always select the lowest
ironing temperature to iron the composltion of those fibers.
Silk and other fabrics that are likely to become shiny should be ironed on the inner
side. To prevent staining, do not spray water straight on silk or other delicate fabrics.
5.
6.
7.

Velvet and other textures that rapidly become shiny should be ironed in one
direction with light pressure applied. Keep the iron moving at all times.
Pure wool fabrics (100% wool) may be ironed with the iron set a steam position.
Preferably set steam control to the maximum position and use a dry cloth as a mat.
Never iron over zip, rivet in the cloth. This will damage the soleplate.
