Allow a clearance of 1 inch to the right, left and rear when installing the appliance; this has the advantage
of reducing power consumption.
Levelling
When adjusting the level of Kimchi Refrigerator, set the front legs higher than the rear tor ease of door
opening and closing.
First disassemble the leg cover and then adjust the level of the Kimchi Refrigerator.

Earthing the Appliance

The appliance must be earthed.
You must earth the Kimchi Refrigerator to prevent any power leakage or electric shock
caused by current leakage from the appliance.
. Never use gas pipes, telephone lines or other potential lightning rods as earths.
WARNING - lmproper use of the grounding plug can result in a risk of electric shock.
lf it is necessary to use an extension cord, use only a 3-wire extension cord that has a
S-blade grounding plug and a 3-slot receptacle that will accept the plug on the
appliance. The marked rating of the extension cord should be AC115-120V 10A, or
more. lf a grounding adapter is used, make sure the receptacle box is fully ground.
Your KimchiRefrigerator is operated by a compressor which switchs "on and off'to maintain the internal
temperature. When the compressor is new, it requires a running-in period, which can last for up to five
months. During this period, it may be slightly noisy. This is quite normal and does not represent a fault.

1.Try not to open door of Kimchi Refrigerator during power
outages.
o No negative effect on food despite 2-3 hour power outage.
2.Only use Kimchi-only vessel or closed vessel.
o Easily alters when stored in vinyl bag.
3.Do not store Kimchi bey and the limitation line marhed on the
surface of the main body.
o Failure to do so will sour up the Kimchi taste.
4.Make sure no spillage of Kimchi iuice occurs 2'3 days after
initial storage.
o Kimchi juice spillage hampers extensive storage.

o Harsh application could create scratch marks.

o Upon plugging in display sectors of Kimchi "Temperature Control"(through cooler) and
"Food Storage" lighten up, then the functions enter the activation mode after three minutes.

o During storage : The display sectors of Type of Food, Temp. Control,
Food Storage that the user selected are lightened up.
o When you alter storage mode to Fermentation mode, transfer stored food
to another Kimchi Refrigerator compartment or Refrigerator to prevent food
alteration, then continue with Fermentation.
o The semi fan shaped lamp indicates degree of Fermentation, with larger
implying greater degree of Fermentation.
o When Fermenting Kimchi, do not store meat or produce.

r Set the storing temperature to Coolest for large quantities, Cool for small quantities,
and Cooler for optimum temperature setting for all foods.

o When fermenting Kimchi
1. Press the "',#r,lF"F" button for over a second until desired Kimchi is obtained.
2, You can choose the choic" ot .#Ei,E"?"" in the order of High I Medium I Low.
Press for more than a second to choose your desired selection.
(Medium Fermentation is standard.)
t. After you are done with Kimchi Type and Ferment Degree, press t",? for more than a
second.
4. F"rr"ntation starts after three blinks by the Ferment lamp, and once Fermentation time
expires, the Ferment lamp is gradually turned on .
o After Fermenting is finished, the Kimchi is turned to be stored in Kimchi automatically.

KIMCHI TYPE

o When fresh storage of Kimchi is required
Press food type, Kimchi, Cooler to cool up the interior. 2-3 hours prior to storage, and
refrain from frequent door openings. Frequent temperature change only sours up Kimchi
taste.
o Selecting storing temperature
Select "Coolest" for cold storage, "Cool" for small quantity storage or less cool storage,
and "Normal" for optimum temperature.
A When "Coolest" is selected, some foods may freeze.
NOTES
o When dew or frost may form on the inner wall of the Kimchi storage
Frost or dew is formed when the door of the Kimchi Refrigerator is open for a long time at
high temperature or humiditY.
