Please read these operating instructions carefully as they include valuable advice on
safety and how to use the equipment. Look after these operating instructions carefully.
WARNINGS
• Foradditionalprotection,theinstallationofaresidualcurrentdevice(RCD)havinga
ratedresidualoperatingcurrentnotexceeding30mAisadvisableintheelectricalcircuit
supplyingthebathroom.Askyourinstallerforadvice.
• Makesuretheunitisperfectlydrybeforeusingit.
• WARNING:Donotusethisappliancenearbathtubs,showers,basinsorothervessels
containingwater.
• Thisappliancecanbeusedbychildrenfrom8yearsofageandover,andbypersons
withlimitedphysical,sensoryormentalabilitiesorwholacktherelevantexperienceand
knowledge,iftheyaresuitablysupervisedorhavebeeneducatedtousetheappliance
safelyandmadeawareoftheassociatedrisks.
• Donotallowchildrentoplaywiththeappliance.
• Childrenmustnotperformcleaningandmaintenanceproceduresunlesssupervised.

Donotuseyourunitifitisnotworkingproperly.Donottrytorepairthiselectricalunit
yourself,rathercontactanauthorizedtechnician.
• Whentheapplianceisusedinabathroom,unplugitafterusesincetheproximityofwater
presentsahazardevenwhentheapplianceisswitchedoff.
• Onlyconnectthisunittoalternatingcurrentandcheckthatthemainssupplyvoltage
correspondstothatindicatedontheunit.
• Alwaysswitchofftheapplianceafteruseanddisconnecttheplugfromthemainspower
socket.Donotremovetheplugfromthemainspowersocketbypullingthecable.
• Donotpulltheplugoutofthepowersupplysocketwhenyourhandsarewet.
• Beforeswitchingontheappliance,alwayscheckitsconditionsandalsocontrolthe
transformerandpowercable
• Removetheclipperbladesandthoroughlycleantheclipperwiththebrushandsoftclean
cloth.
• Bladewashandbrushcanbeusedtocleanthebladesandcavityinclipperhead.
• Removeairlterandblowcleanwithairline(ifavailable),orbrushfreeofhair.
• Wipedrytheclipperwithasoftclothandstoreincarryingcase.
• Cleanbladeswithbladewashandifsharp,applyalightcoatofoilandstore.Storethe
clipperinawarmanddryplacebetween5Cand35C.
• Theelementsusedtopacktheunit(plasticbags,cardboardbox,etc.)mustbekeptoutof
reachofchildrenastheyareapotentialdangertothem.

• Thisunitmustonlybeusedforthepurposesforwhichitisexpresslyintended.Anyother
useistobeconsideredimproperandthereforedangerous.Themanufactureracceptsno
responsibilityfordamagecausedbyimproperorerroneoususe.
• Donotexposetheappliancetotemperaturesbelow0°Corabove40°C.Avoidexposing
theappliancetodirectandprolongedsunlight.
• Donotleavetheapplianceonchargeinwetplacesanddonotrechargetheappliance
whenitiswet.
• TheappliancecomesequippedwithaNiMHbattery.Tohelpprotecttheenvironment,the
batteriesshouldnotbeincludedwithordinarydomesticwaste,butshouldbetakentoa
specialcollectionpointinstead.
• Havethebatteryremovedbyqualiedtechnicalpersonnelorbythetreatmentand
recyclingcentre.
• Donotexposethebatterytoliquid,moistureorhighhumidity.
• Keepthebatteryawayfrommagneticelds,sourcesofheatandnakedames.
• Dangerofscratchesorcuts.Donotuseacomborasetofbladesiftheyaredamaged.
Replacethemimmediately,astheymaycauseinjury.
• Takecarenottoscratchtheskinwhenhandlingtheappliancewiththesetofblades
withoutcombs.

The appliance can operate either using mains power or in cordless mode, as it has a
rechargeable battery.
MAINS POWER SUPPLY
Connectthetransformerthe(g.1-reference9)byinsertingtheplugintotheappliancesocket
(g.1-ref.5).Plugthetransformerintothemains.
Warning:iftheappliancedoesnotworkwithmainspowerwhenthebatterychargehasrun
downcompletely,switchitoff,rechargethebatteryforaboutveminutesandthenswitch
backonagain,runningonmainspower.
RECHARGING THE BATTERY
• Beforeusingtheapplianceforthersttime,chargethebatteryfor24hours.For
subsequentcharges,allowtheappliancetochargeforatleast8hours.
• Switchtheapplianceoffusingtheswitch(g.1-ref.3).Thebatterycanonlybecharged
withtheapplianceswitchedoff.

• Connectthetransformer(g.1-ref.9)byinsertingtheplugintotheappliancesocket(g.1
-ref.5).Orconnectthetransformertothebase(g.1-ref.6)byinsertingtheplugintothe
baseplug(g.1-ref.7),thensittheapplianceonthebase.
• Plugthetransformerintothemains.
• Duringchargingtheled(g.1-ref.4)lightsuptoindicatecharginginprogress.
• Onlyrechargethebatterywhenyounoteaclearreductioninappliancepower.
• Whenthebatteryisfullycharged,theappliancecanbeusedfor60minuteswithout
connectiontothemains.
REMOVING AND ADJUSTING THE COMB ATTACHMENT
• Toadjustthecuttinglength,slidethecombasillustratedingure2:moveitinthe
directionofarrowAtoincreasethecuttinglength,orinthedirectionofarrowBto
decreasethecuttinglength.
• Toremovethecomb,moveitinthedirectionofarrowAuntilitslidesofftheappliance
completely.
CHANGING BLADES
• Switchtheapplianceoff.
• Toremoveablade,pushtoreleasefromtheseatasshownin(g.3).
• Toretablade,followtheinstructionsin(g.4):rstinserttherearsectionintheseat(A),
thenpushthefronttosecureinplace(B).
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Thecleaningandmaintenanceproceduremustbecarriedoutaftereveryuse.
• Allmaintenanceorbladechangeoperationsmustbecarriedoutwiththeappliance
switchedOFFandremovedfromthemainsadapter.
• Neverimmersetheapplianceinwater!
• Aftereveryuse,removetheguidecombthenusethesmallbrushtoeliminateanyhair
fromthecuttingheadanditsseat.
• Cleantheoutsideoftheappliancewithasoftcloth(slightlydampifnecessary).Neveruse
solventsorabrasivedetergents!
• Removethecuttinghead(g.5)andevenlyoilthebladesandtheseatofthemotorpin
whichislocatedontheinside.
• Ifafterprolongeduse,anddespiteregularcleaningandlubrication,thecuttingabilityof
theapplianceappearstobediminished,thecuttingheadmustbereplaced.
• Oncetheappliancehasbeencleaned,theguidecombcanbettedbackinplacesinceit
alsohelpstoprotecttheblade.

BATTERY LIFE
Theservicelifeexpectancyofthebatteryisapproximately1000rechargingcycles.Afterthat,
thechargewillgraduallydrainandthepowerwillbereduced.
Theservicelifeofthebatterymaybeshortenedinthefollowingsituations:
1. Thebatteryisstoredinhumidsurroundingsforlongperiods.
2. Thebatteryisover-charged.
3. Thebatteryidover-discharged(whenthebatteryisoutofpower,theclipperiskeptinthe
switched-onpositionforlongperiods).
4. Theclipperisalwaysusedpluggedin.
5. Theclipperhasnotbeenchargedformorethan6months.
Whennotinregularuse,itisrecommendedtorechargethebatteryevery6months.
Ifcordlessoperationlastsforlessthan10minutes,despiteproperrecharging,thebatteryhas
exceededitsservicelifeandshouldbereplaced.
BLADE LIFE
Theservicelifeexpectancyofthebladeisapproximately250hoursunderproperusage.
Theservicelifeoftheblademaybeshortenedinthefollowingsituations.
1. Thebladehasnotbeenlubricatedproperlyoveralongperiod.
2. Thebladecutsobjectsotherthanhorsehairoruncleanhair.
3. Aforeignobjectdamagestheebladeedge.
4. Thebladeisimpacted.
Ifthecuttingefciencyisreducedsubstantiallydespitepropermaintenance,thebladehas
exceededitsservicelifeandshouldbereplaced.
ENVIRONMENTAL DISPOSAL
Itistheowner’sresponsibilitytodisposeoftheclippersinareasonablemanneraftertheir
usefullife.Donotdisposeoninhouseholdwaste.
TheclippercanbereturnedtotheplaceofpurchaseorAgrihealthforrecycling,ortakento
yourlocalauthoritywastedisposalsite.

ofsale.Theguaranteeperiodstartsfromthedateofpurchaseasstatedonthepresent
guaranteecardregularlylledoutandstampedbythedealeroronthesale’sinvoice.
2. Theguaranteeisapplicableonlyagainstsubmissionofthepresentguaranteecardorthe
sale’sinvoice.
3. Theguaranteecoverstheeliminationofalldefectsarisenduringtheguaranteeperiod
resultingfromprovenfaultsinmaterialorworkmanship.Theeliminationofthedefects
willbemadeeitherbyrepairingtheapplianceorexchangingit.Theguaranteedoesnot
coveranydamagearisingfromincorrectconnectiontothepowersupply,improperuse,
