before using this appliance for the first time. Ensure all parts indicated on the Product
Overview Diagram have been included in the giftbox.
1. Remove the protection film from the non-stick soleplate before first use.

any residue left within the water tank during the manufacturing process. Then refill the
water tank with clean water once again.

Temperature Control
Put the Steam Iron upright and select the desired temperature with the temperature
control dial. Please see table below for suggested settings. Always make sure you pay close
attention to the instructions and care symbols on the textile care label.
Label Marking Temperature Setting Heat Setting
Synthetics, Nylon, Acrylics, Polyester Cool Heat Setting
Silk, Wool Warm Heat Setting
Cotton, Linen Hot Heat Setting
When ironing always start with the fabrics that require the lowest temperature setting.
Then progress to materials that require the medium temperature setting. Always iron the
materials that require the highest temperature setting last.

has reached the selected heat setting, the indicator light will go out and you can begin
ironing.

Burst of Steam
The burst of steam will work as long as there is water in the water tank and the temperature
control dial is set above the warm heat setting ( ). An additional burst of steam may be

fabrics such as denim.
1. Ensure you have filled the water tank.
2. Set the Steam Iron between the warm to hot heat setting ( ).
3. The indicator light will illuminate whilst the Steam Iron is heating up. Once it has
reached the selected heat setting, the indicator light will go out and you can begin
ironing. Do not use the burst of steam function until the Steam Iron has reached the
selected heat setting and the indicator light is off.
4. Press the burst of steam button, you may need to press it 2-3 times to pump the water
through.
5. Leave the Steam Iron for 3 seconds between bursts to allow for the temperature of the
Steam Iron to recover.

the temperature control dial has been set above the warm heat setting ( ) and
has completely finished heating up (the indicator light will be on until the selected
temperature has been reached). If the burst of steam button is not used correctly, water
may leak out of the soleplate. This is normal and not a product defect.
