IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTION
READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
Read this manual thoroughly before first use, even if you are familiar with this type
of product. The safety precautions enclosed reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and
injury when correctly adhered to. Keep the manual in a safe place for future reference,
along with the completed warranty card, purchase receipt and carton.
Always follow basic safety precautions and accident prevention measures when using
an electrical appliance, including the following:
•Do not operate the appliance on an inclined surface. Use a flat level surface.
•Do not move or cover the appliance whilst in operation. Unplug before moving.
•Do not immerse the heating vessel of the appliance in water or any other liquid.
•Use your appliance at least 200mm away from walls and curtains.
•Do not put your face or hands over the steam vent whilst cooking as you may scald
your skin.
•Do not use your appliance in confined spaces.
•Remove the power cord before cleaning the appliance.
•After cleaning ensure that the cord inlet area is completely dry before using again.
•Allow inner pot to cool before removing.
•Always turn the power off at the power outlet before you insert or remove a plug.
Remove by grasping the plug - do not pull on the cord.
•Turn the power off and remove the plug when the appliance is not in use and before
cleaning.
•Do not use your appliance with an extension cord unless this cord has been checked
and tested by a qualified technician or service person.
•Always use your appliance from a power outlet of the voltage (A.C. only) marked on
the appliance.
•This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
•Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

•The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is
operating.
•Never leave an appliance unattended while in use.
•Do not use an appliance for any purpose other than its intended use.
•Do not place an appliance on or near a hot gas flame, electric element or on a
heated oven.
•Do not place on top of any other appliance.
•Do not let the power cord of an appliance hang over the edge of a table or bench
top or touch any hot surface.
•Do not operate any electrical appliance with a damaged cord or after the appliance
has been damaged in any manner. If damage is suspected, return the appliance to
the nearest Authorised Service Centre for repair or adjustment.
•Unless your home is already fitted with a residual current device (safety switch),
the use of a residual current device (RCD) with a tripping current not exceeding
30mA in the electrical circuit supplying power to your appliances.
•Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid unless recommended.
•Appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or
separate remote control system.
•This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such
as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; farm
houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; bed
and breakfast type environments.
Do not drop the inner pot as this,
may cause deformation
Before operating the rice cooker, be
sure to wipe away the water inside the
inner pot to avoid any fault.
Before operating the rice cooker, please
remove water drops and rice grains
between the inner pot and heating plate
to avoid overheating or short circuit.
During use or immediately after use,
do not touch the inner pot with your
hands to avoid scalding due to
high-temperature.

Before operating the rice cooker, check the inner pot and the steam
valve to avoid any malfunction.
Never operate the rice cooker immediately after cooking. Wait at least
15 minutes to have the heating plate cool down before using again.
Never cook rice with hot water as this may affect the thermostat control
and thus degrade the cooking result.
Please clean the steam valve on a regular basis.

Do not heat the inner pot on other heat
sources such as stoves, otherwise, it
may distort under the high temperature.
Take out the inner pot and wash with
household detergent and a soft cloth
and thoroughly dry.
Do not use a metal brush or other
coarse cleaning utensils and cleaning
agents.
Depending on the frequency of use,
the inner pot may discolor, this will not
pose a health and product risk.

After turning on the power, the
standard cook indicator light will
flash and the appliance will be set
to standby mode
Press "Menu" and the indicator
light will show the function choice,
after selection you must press the
“Start” button then the function
selected begins.
Press "Start" and the indicator
light will change from flashing to
solid. This indicates the unit is
operating and at the same time
confirms your function selection.
Pressing "Quick Cook"will start
the appliance immediately.
Note: This function can be
selected from the MENU button

Once the cooking has
finished, the rice cooker will
automatically change to
“KEEP WARM” with the
keep warm indicator
illuminated.
Note: Whist the unit is
operating press the " keep
warm / off " button to enter
to standby mode, Press one
more time to enter the keep
warm function
2. After some of the functionsselected
have ended such as porridge/soup and
congee the appliance will enter the
standby mode.
Timer is used as the preset time for the
operating completion end time.
Functions with Timer: Standard cooking,
Quick start cooking, Premium cooking,
Congee, Porridge/Soup,Steamer, Minor
cereals.
Function without Timer:Reheat and
Steam
Press the “Menu” button and select the
function
Press the “Preset” button, then press
“HRS” “MIN” button to set the operating
completion time, Press the “Start”
button to enter the preset timer status.
Example: It is 2 P.M now, and hope to
have dinner at 7 P.M
Method Two: press the “Preset” button
then press “Hour” “Min” button to set the
operating completion time.
For example: It is 2 P.M now, and hope to
have dinner at 7 P.M
Preset time is the working / completion time.

Time can be adjusted by using
the "HRS" or "MIN" buttons
Note; the time will only
increase the hours and
minutes when adjusted.
Press and hold for fast time
changing.

Pour the rice (one cup of rice is about 150g) into the
measuring cup.
Do not directly wash the rice in the inner pot to avoid
scratching of the inner pot surface.
If using dry cereals for the grains function, it will need
to be soaked in hot water for 2-3 hours in advance.
Place the clean rice into the inner pot, select the suitable
water level mark per the rice amount. Note: increase
or decrease the water according to personal preference.
Note: Do not exceed the MAX mark of corresponding
function, otherwise, it may overflow and short circuit
How to use the Water Line of the inner pot.
Wipe the external surface of inner pot and place
into the Rice Cooker. In order to make the inner
pot bottom and heating plate a good connection,
rotate the inner pot left and right 2 – 3 times and
then close the lid. The lid will click into place.
Note: Do not heat the inner pot on the stove
otherwise it may distort under high temperature.
Do not substitute the inner pot with any other
container for use in the rice cooker.

function then press the " START" button to begin
operating or press the corresponding function
button to enter the cooking function required

Use a damp cloth to wipe the insulation
seat board, but never wash under direct
water.
Before placing the inner pot into the
unit, ensure to wipe away any water
and rice grains from the bottom.
Clean the cover plate
with water.

Cleaning and Maintenance
The removable cover plate must be cleaned after every use, this is to ensure the steam vent
operates freely.
Allow the unit to cool and then remove the steam valve to avoid burns and injury
Example Wash the steam valve under water.
Note: if the gasket falls off then re-install
it before assembly.
Rotate counter clockwise to open
Rotate clockwise to close the steam
valve.
Tip: When a click is heard the steam
valve is closed.

Refer below to trouble shoot simple problems.
It is recommended that our Contact Centre / Service Centre is contacted before returning the
product back to store. In many cases, the problem can be resolved over the phone and a
return to store may not be necessary
