Thank you for choosing our products. Before installing and/or using the product, please read this
manual carefully to understand the correct installation, use and maintenance procedure of your
appliance.
Please also e aware that this ook must accompany the heater should this e transferred to another installa-
tion location.

With Livingstone, you are saving energy and using recycled materials to respect the environment.
Livingstone is a new, completely eco-friendly patented technology. The production process uses residual
powdered mar le from mar le processing. The process uses less energy than similar products. Livingstone
uses energy from renewa le sources and the product is fully recycla le.

General information
1.2 Safety information
Please read the manual efore installing the appliance.
Unplug the appliance during installation, maintenance and cleaning.
The radiant panel is to e used exclusively for space heating; any other use is prohi ited.
Radiant panel connections must e performed y qualified personnel.
A multipolar reaking device must e installed. The separation distance etween contacts must e at
least 3 mm.
The power supply circuit of the appliance must e protected with a high-sensitivity differential
protection device.
Power cords should e exclusively connected to mains via a junction ox positioned 25 cm a ove the
floor and avoiding electrical plugs.
Do not cut power cords to turn off the thermostat.
The rated voltage of the appliance must e that of the mains (230V AC).
Do not attempt to repair the thermostat yourself; contact your nearest service centre.
Avoid contact with chemicals or alcohol.
The thermostat should not e used y persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capa ilities or lacking experience and knowledge, if this is done in the a sence of guardians or
persons responsi le for their safety, and that have read the following instructions for use.
Make sure children do not play with the appliance.
The diagram provided has een simplified for clarity; protection devices and safety and installation
accessories were not represented.
The appliance must e installed according to applica le regulations for low-voltage electrical
appliances as defined under CEI 64-8.

2 Installation
2.1 Safety notes for installation
Do not install the radiant panel ehind curtains, furniture or furnishings; do not install the
appliance at ground level or at an excessive height.
The radiant panel shall in no case e installed: in niches, less than 10 cm from the corners of
the room, under a power outlet or on a shelf.
The heater must only e installed on 230V rated voltage systems.
An omni-polar disconnecting device must e installed upstream of a power line with a contact opening of at
least 3mm.
The power supply circuit of the appliance must e protected with a high-sensitivity differential protection
device.
2.2 Special notes for bathroom installation
The installation must conform to the rules and laws of the country in
which it is installed.
The heater is Class II and complies with electrical protection norm IPX4;
in the athroom, it can e installed in zones 2 and 3 (see figure) provided
that the control device remains out of reach for people who are using the
shower or athtu .
In the athroom, the device may e installed in zone 3 (Fig. 1), defined
according to standard CEI 64-8/7, Art. 701.32, provided the controller
remains out of reach for persons using the shower or athtu .
2.3 Installation
The thermostat is supplied with appropriate supporting hooks. Wall plugs supplied in the
package are suita le for rick or concrete walls. You can install the radiant panel also on
other wall types y replacing the plugs provided with other deemed most appropriate, and
checking with your installer whether the installation wall can ear the appliance’s weight.
The package provides three identical hooks and two of them are designed for weight earing; adjustment
screws allow correction y adjusting small differences in the horizontal alignment of the panel. The third
hook, placed at the ase, is mandatory and should not e tightened to high torque, as its rotation locks the
panel in a vertical position after installation.
Proceed with the installation of the panel y locating the position of the holes as per drawing, and use the ta-
le for distances.
Proceed with the installation of the hooks, use a drill adapted to the tile and surface type to
e drilled; for the standard tile supplied, use a 9 mm diameter x 45mm deep tip.
Hook the panel to the upper rackets; rotate 90 ° the lower hook so this attaches to the wall
surface and to prevent the panel from eing raised.

Installation
2.4 Electric connections
Caution:
Unplug the appliance during installation, maintenance and cleaning.
The appliance should only e operated with 230 VAC voltage.
Observe the following colours:
Brown PHASE
Blue or Grey NEUTRAL
Black PILOT WIRE (FIL PILOT)
Caution:
The PILOT WIRE is intended for heaters connected to the energy control
unit/programma le thermostat. Isolate any unused lack PILOT WIRES according to safety
regulations; never connect the lack wire to the ground wire.

3.2 Stand-by
In stand- y mode, the heating function is disa led and the display shows only the current
time.
The display flashes if the clock is not set and synchronised; see clock setting.
To switch from stand- y to operating mode, press and hold the stand- y key for two seconds
until the display shows "ON".
3.3 Programmable thermostat mode
The Livingstone radiant panel features a programma le thermostat that can e programmed
24x7 on thermostat mode when the display shows the function (see figure) and the daily
schedule on the side.
To change the programming, refer to chapter “Weekly programming 24x7”.
In this mode, the thermostat follows the daily schedule, alternating comfort and night
set ack modes.
The programma le thermostat function is disa led if the clock is not set, for example, after
prolonged lackouts (display will flash); in this case, the heater will remain at comfort
temperature until the clock is set to the current time.
3.4 Pilot wire mode (Fil pilote)
In Pilot wire mode, the thermostat is controlled remotely via a wire protocol, TERMO-DL,
which support 6 commands.
Pilot wire commands:
1) Comfort: Comfort temperature
2) Night set ack mode: Comfort temperature -3.5 ° C
3) ECO1: Comfort temperature -1 ° C
4) ECO2: Comfort temperature -2 ° C
5) Anti-freeze: Minimum anti-freeze temperature 7 °C
6) Stop: Heating disa led
3.5 Comfort Mode
In comfort mode, temperature is regulated via the temperature kno .

3.6 Night setback mode
In night set ack mode, temperature is adjusted according to the temperature kno ut
reduced y 3.5 °C. This set ack results in significant energy savings while allowing for a
rapid transition from set ack to comfort mode, ensuring thus optimal performance.
3.7 Anti-freeze mode
In anti-freeze mode, the thermostat keeps a safety temperature of 7 °C to avoid freezing upon
prolonged a sence.
3.8 Weekly programming 24x7 day
To access weekly programming, set the programma le thermostat mode and press and hold
the function utton until the display shows "Pro".
The display shows the selection of the daily program; use the function utton to select the
one you wish to change (d1 = Monday, d2 = Tuesday, ... d7 = Sunday).
Once the desired program is selected, press the stand- y key to enter the edit menu.
The display shows the day/program and time slot; press the function key to set the time slot
to comfort mode or the stand- y key to set the time slot to night set ack mode. As you re-
lease the utton, the next time slot is automatically selected.
Once daily programming is complete, press the function key for two seconds to return to the
daily program selection. To finish programming, press and hold the stand- y utton until the
display shows "Off".
3.9 Clock and date setting
Clock setting
To access the clock setting function, go to stand- y mode as descri ed a ove and press the
function utton until the display shows "Set".
Use the function keys to change current time. Hold down the utton for faster adjustment.
Confirm the change with the stand- y key.

After setting the clock, select the day of the week (d1 = Monday, d7 = Sunday).
Use the function key to select the day of the week.
Confirm using the stand- y utton, it automatically returns to stand- y mode..

4.1 Warranty
The panel comes with a 2-year warranty. The warranty is valid as long as the product remains intact, without
any tampering or modification.
The warranty is effective as of the date of the sale. Therefore, it is necessary to retain the invoice or receipt as
proof of purchase date.
Caution:
To warranty only remains valid if the installation complies with the regulations and laws in
force and is performed in a workmanlike manner.
4.2 Technical assistance
For technical assistance, please contact your installer or distri utor.
4.3 isposal
The sym ol attached to the appliance and shown here y indicates that the product is su ject
to a separate collection for electrical appliances.
At the end of its service life, the appliance cannot e disposed of with common municipal
solid waste ut must e conveyed to a special collection centre in your area for disposal
under current legislation.
The separate collection of electrical and electronic appliances is part of a policy of
preserving, protecting and improving the quality of the environment, designed to avoid
potential harmful effects on human health due to the presence of hazardous su stances as
classified y the European directives.
