6.3. GAS SUPPLY CONNECTION
The inlet hose may be connected to 3/8" G or 1/2" G outlet on the appliance either
firmly or exchangeably (in this case a connector in accord with legal regulation must
be used). When flexible hoses made of stainless steel are used for connection, these
must comply with the applicable legal regulations.
After connecting the appliance to a gas system, check for leaks using specific gas leak
detector (spray).
6.4. EXHAUSTING FUMES
This appliance is not intended for connection to gas fumes exhausting duct. They
must derive gas fumes into the appropriate fume hoods or similar structures, which
are connected to functional chimneys or lead the fume gases directly into the air. If
such systems are not available, a digestorium may be used, which exhalates burned
gasses directly into the air, if its capacity is in accord with set requirements. This
appliance must provide air exchange necessary for helth protection of personell.
6.5. POWER REGULATION
There are two possible power types:
-nominal, marked on a product card
-lowered.
For nominal power, use the jets located on the appliance.
The pressure of incoming gas must be set as follows:
in the range 18 - 22,5 mbar for methane,
in the range 27 to 37 mbar for propane-butane.
It is not allowed to use the appliance with other settings of gas. If you wish to carry
out further power control, you can do so with the aid of gasometer according to
volumetric method. In general, the control of correct jet function is sufficient.
6.6ADJUSTING THE AIR SUPPLY
Air supply may be set using the air regulator, which serves to adjust the color of the
flame, which influences the function of the appliance. Air regulator is located on
Venturi tube, which comes out of the bottom part of burner. Orange coloration of the
flame indicates incorrect setting - this can possibly derogate pots and cooking dishes;
in this case the air regulator should be open more to allow more air supply.
