INTRODUKTION
LTC RVC-50 Long Rage är en avancerad backkamera för fordon, tillverkad av LTC Co AB.
LTC RVC-50 Long Rage digital backkamera och monitor med inbyggd sändare och
mottagare kommer att förbättra din förmåga att se bakom din bil, husvagn, husbil eller
släpvagn om den används som det beskrivs. Vi har vidtagit flera åtgärder för kvalitetskontroll
för att säkerställa att din produkt kommer i toppskick.
Läs noga igenom och följ följande säkerhets- och bruksanvisningar.
VIKTIGA SÄKERHETSINSTRUKTIONER
Innan du installerar
Om du inte känner dig säker på att arbeta med 12V/24V DC, kontakta fordonets tillverkare eller annan
professionell installationsfirma.
Störningar
Denna enhet är fri från störningar som kommer från Bluetooth, mobiltelefoner, Wi-Fi-routrar,
kraftledningar och annan elektrisk utrustning.
Reparera
Kameran får inte öppnas. Varje försök till modifiering eller reparation av annan än LTC kommer att
leda till förlust av din garanti.

INSTALLATION
Dessa instruktioner gäller inte specifika fordon. De är endast avsedda som en allmän
vägledning på grund av flertalet olika märken och modeller. För fordonspecifika frågor
kontakta fordonets tillverkare.
Kamerainstallation
Det finns flera sätt att montera kameran bak på din bil. Men det mest praktiska är att montera den nära
registreringsskylten. En monteringsplatta som kan fästas bakom registreringsskylten medföljer och är
monterad på kameran.
Kameran är vinklingsbar, och kameravinkel kan justeras manuellt i vertikal riktning. Se till att kamerans
synfält inte blockeras.
På vissa bilmodeller är det inte möjligt att montera kameran nära registreringsskylten. Kanske du då
måste hitta en annan plats bak på bilen för montering av kameran.
1. Demontera den bakre registreringsskylten.
2. Häng på den medföljande monteringsplattan (tillsammans med kameran) bakom
registreringsskylten utan att dölja registreringsnummer. Fäst både registreringsskylt &
monteringsplatta med skruvarna till registreringsskylten.

4. Välj en väg för kamerans strömkabel genom fordonet till backljuset. Om du är osäker, sök
professionell installationshjälp.
5. Vissa fordon kan ha ett hål tillgänglig för kabeln att passera genom, till exempel där
skyltbelysningen är monterad, eller så kan du borra ett hål nära där strömkabeln är ansluten till
kameran. När du har valt där kabeln kommer in i bilen, ta bort kameran. Om du har möjlighet att
använda en befintlig öppning, hoppa över de följande två stegen.
6. Innan du borrar ett hål MÅSTE DU KONTROLLERA VAD SOM ÄR BAKOM DÄR DU BORRAR.
Om det finns några fordonskomponenter såsom elektriska delar eller bränslesystemkomponenter
bakom där du borrar, måste du vidta de försiktighetsåtgärder som krävs för att inte skada dem. Ta
bort registreringsskylten och kameran innan borrning.
7. Efter att du har borrat hålet, sätt in den medföljande kabelgenomföringen, drag sedan kamerans
kablar genom genomföringen i fordonet. Du måste använda kabelgenomföringen för att förhindra
att metallkanten i hålet skär i kamerans kabel.
8. Nästa steg är att hitta bilens backljus. Vrid fordonets tändningsnyckel till tillbehörsläget, lägg till
parkeringsbromsen och lägg i backväxeln. Titta på bilens baklyktor för att se var backljuslamporna
är placerade, det är de vita ljusen. För att hitta backljusets 12V/24V sladd är det nödvändigt att få
tillgång till den bakre delen av bilens bakljus. För hjälp med att hitta bilens backljuskrets kontakta
fordonets tillverkare för fordonsspecifikt kopplingsschema.
9. När du har hittat backljuset skall du dra kamerakabeln till denna plats. Du måste fästa elkabeln så
att den inte fastnar på något av fordonets komponenter. Drag aldrig kabeln på utsidan av
fordonet!
10. Backljuset på de flesta fordon är anslutet
med två kablar. Vanligtvis är den negativa
kabeln är svart och den positiva ledningen
är en färgad kabel. Om du är osäker på
anslutningarna, kan du använda en 12V/24V
multimeter som kan köpas på de flesta
bildelsbutiker för att avgöra vilken som är
den positiva ledningen. Följ tillverkarens
instruktioner för säker användning av
multimetern.
11. Efter att du konstaterat vilken kabel som är
den positiva och vilken som är den negativa,
slå av tändningen, ta sedan bort bilbatteriets
minuskabel.
12. Skarva den röda kabeln med det medföljande skarvdonet till backljusets positiva (+) kabel.
Använd en polygriptång och pressa ned skarvdonet för att säkerställa en bra anslutning.
13. Skarva sedan den svarta kabeln med det medföljande skarvdonet till backljusets negativa (-) kabel
eller jord.
14. Säkra alla kablar med buntband eller eltejp.
15. Anslut bilbatteriets minuskabel.

Montera bildskärmen
När du väljer en plats att montera bildskärmen, se till att skärmen är i ett
område som inte kommer att hindra ditt synfält när du kör.
1. Innan du monterar bildskärmen, rengör monteringsytan väl.
2. Montera sugfästet på instrumentpanelen så att den passar ditt behov.
3. Tryck suglocket mot den släta ytan och tryck ner låset för att fästa och
fixera fästet på ytan.
4. Tryck in monitorn i ställets justerbara arm.
5. Justera armen så att monitorns vinkel passar dig.
6. Dra strömkabeln till bilens cigarettändaruttag 12V/24V. Kabeln får inte störa användandet av
fordonet.
7. Sätt i strömkabelns lilla 12V/24V DC-kontakt på baksidan av monitorn.
8. Anslut 12V/24V cigarettändarkontakten till bilens cigarettändaruttag.
För att maximera effektiviteten av sugfästet rekommenderas att monteringen skall utföras under
följande förhållanden:
• Ytans temperatur bör vara mellan 21 och 38 grader Celsius.
• Montering under 10 grader bör undvikas.
• Montering bör inte ske i direkt solljus.
Fästet bör skyddas från exponering av direkt solljus under en period av 24 timmar.
OBSERVERA: UNDER EXTREMT STARKA LJUSFÖRHÅLLANDEN KAN DET TA NÅGRA
SEKUNDER FÖR BILDEN ATT STABILISERAS. VÄNTA TILLS BILDEN HAR STABILISERATS
INNAN DU BACKAR.
Testa systemet
1. Sätt tillbaka bilens negativa batterikabel.
2. Vrid tändningsnyckeln till tillbehörsläget, starta inte fordonet.
3. Dra åt parkeringsbromsen och lägg sedan växelreglaget i backläge.
4. Efter att ha testat apparaten och du är nöjd med den väg du valt för kablaget, installera kablaget
permanent.
5. Dra alla kablar bakom invändiga paneler eller under mattan så de döljs. Använd medföljande
buntband för att prydligt samla överflödig kabel.

DRIFT
Vänligen para alltid ihop skärmen och kameran innan första användning, se avsnittet “Para
ihop” nedan.
Det finns sex kontrollknappar tillgängliga för användaren:
Power button
❶
STRÖMBRYTARE AV/PÅ: Tryck för att starta eller stänga av monitorn. Monitorn startar vid ett
tryck. För att stänga av trycks knappen in i 3 sekunder.
❷
GUIDELINJER / TILLBAKA: Gå tillbaka en nivå i menyn. Tryck för att visa parkeringsriktlinjer.
Tryck i 3 sekunder tills den börjar blinka, använd UPP/NER-knappen för att justera visningen av
parkeringsriktlinjer och tryck sedan på ENTER-knappen för att bekräfta

ENTER (BEKRÄFTA): Tryck för att bekräfta val i menyn.

NER: Flytta ner för val i menyn.
❺&
UPP/KANALBYTE: Flytta upp för val i menyn. Byter mellan kanal 1 & 2.

MENY: Tryck på Meny-knappen för att öppna menyskärmen enligt nedan: parning, display &
systeminformation.
Pairing:
Välj ikonen "pairing" med pilknapparna och tryck på strömbrytaren. Välj kamera 1 eller 2 med
pilknapparna och sedan ”OK”. Kort därefter, tryck på gummiknappen på kamerans undersida
tills signalen tas emot av monitorn och "OK" visas på skärmen. Enheten kommer att fungera
korrekt och kopplas ihop automatiskt framöver. Tryck på menyknappen för att avsluta valet,
annars avslutas det automatiskt efter 30 sekunder.
Display
Inställningar för ljusstyrka, kontrast, färg, rotation. Tryck på upp- och nedknappen för att välja.
I den här menyn kan du ändra ljusstyrka, kontrast eller färg på bilden. Välj önskad funktion
med pilknapparna, bekräfta genom att trycka på ENTER-knappen och ändra värdena med
pilknapparna.

Visar aktuella programvaruversioner för monitor och kamerasystem.

INTRODUCTION
LTC RVC-50 Long Rage is a member of the family of advanced car back-up systems manufactured by
LTC Co AB.
LTC RVC-50 Long Rage digital camera and monitor with built in transmitter box, when used as
described, will improve your ability to see behind your car, camper, trailer, or mini-van. We have taken
numerous measures in quality control to ensure that your product arrives in top condition, and will
perform to your satisfaction.
Please carefully read and follow the following safety and operating instructions.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before Installation
If you are not confident working with 12V/24V DC vehicle wiring, removing and reinstalling interior
panels, carpeting, dashboards or other components of your vehicle, contact the vehicle’s
manufacturer, or consider having the camera system professionally installed.
Interference
This device is free from interferences coming from Bluetooth, cell phones, Wi-FI routers, power lines
and other various electrical equipment.
Repair
The camera system should not be opened. Any attempt at modification or repair by the user will entail
the loss of your guarantee.

INSTALLATION
These instructions do not apply to all vehicles. They are only meant as a general guide due to
the number of different makers & models. For vehicle specific questions contact your vehicle’s
manufacturer.
Camera installation
There are several ways to mount the camera on the back of your car. But the most convenient is to
mount it near the license plate. Supplied is one mounting plate that can be fixed behind the license
plate, and the mounting plate have been installed in the camera.
The camera itself is screwed on the mounting plate. The camera is tiltable, camera angle can be
adjusted manually on vertical direction. Make sure that its field of view and detection are not
obstructed.
16. Remove the rear license plate, and then loosen the license plate bolts/screws.
17. Position the supplied mounting plate (with camera together) behind the license plate bracket.
Secure both license plate bracket and mounting plates with the license plate bracket bolts/screws.
18. Mount the license plate on the license plate bracket.
With some type of cars it is not possible to mount the camera near the license plate. You may have to
find another spot at the back of your car to mount it.
After choosing the method of mounting, follow these installation steps:

1) Choose a routing path for the camera’s power cable through the vehicle’s body to the reverse
light circuit. If in doubt, seek professional installation assistance.
2) Some vehicles may have a hole available to pass the wire through, such as where the license
plate light is mounted, or you can drill a hole close to where the power cable is attached to the
camera. Once you have chosen where the cable will enter the vehicle’s body, remove the
camera. If you are able to use an existing opening, skip the next two steps.
3) Before you drill a hole you MUST CHECK and see WHAT IS BEHIND WHERE YOU ARE
DRILLING. If there are any vehicle components, such as electrical parts or fuel system
components behind where you are drilling, you must take whatever precaution is necessary
not to damage them. Remove the license plate and camera before drilling.
4) After you have drilled the hole, insert the supplied grommet, then pass the camera cables
through the grommet into the vehicle. You must use the grommet to prevent the metal edge of
the hole from cutting the camera cable.
5) Next you’ll need to find the vehicle’s reverse lights. Turn the vehicle’s ignition key to the
accessory position, engage the parking brake and put the car in reverse. Look at the vehicle’s
tail lights to see where the reverse lights are located, they are the white lights. To locate the
reverse light’s 12V/24V + wire it will be necessary to gain access to the rear of the vehicle’s
tail light. For help locating the vehicle’s reverse light circuit contact your vehicle’s manufacturer
for vehicle specific wiring diagrams.
6) Once you have located the reverse light circuit you will have to route the camera cable to that
location. You must securely fasten the power cable to prevent it from being caught on any
vehicle component such as the trunk hinge. Never route the cable on the outside of the
vehicle!
7) The reverse light sockets on most vehicles
have two wires connected to them. Usually
the negative wire is black and the positive
wire is a colored wire. If you are uncertain
about the wiring, you can use a 12V/24V
multimeter available at most auto parts
stores to determine which is the positive
wire. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions
for the safe use of the multimeter.
8) After determining which wire is the positive
and which is the negative, turn off the
ignition key, then remove the battery’s negative cable.
9) Splice the red wire using the supplied in-line wire connectors to the reverse light’s positive (+)
wire. Use a set of slip joint pliers to squeeze the TAP and insure good connection.
10) Next splice the black wire of the camera power cable to the reverse light’s negative (-) wire or
ground.
11) Replace the reverse light bulb, and then re-install the light socket. Secure all the wires with
cable ties or electrical tape.
12) Re-attach the negative battery cable to the battery.

Monitor Installation
When choosing a location to mount the monitor, make sure the monitor is in an
area that will not obstruct your vision while driving.
9. Before mounting the monitor, clean the mounting surface well.
10. Position the suction mount to the smooth surface which suits your
requirement.
11. Press the suction cap against the smooth surface and press the lock down
to attach and fix the mount to the surface.

13. Route the power cable to the vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket 12V/24V power outlet. The cable
must not interfere with the safe operation of the vehicle.
14. Insert the small 12V/24V DC plug of the power cable into the rear of the monitor.
15. Plug the 12V/24V cigarette lighter plug into the vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket.
16. To maximize the effectiveness of the suction mount, it is recommended that the application be
performed under the following conditions:
• Surface temperature should be between 21 and 38 degrees Celsius.
• Application below 10 degrees should be avoided.
• Application should not occur in direct sunlight.
Mounting should be protected from exposure to direct sunlight for a period of 24 hours.
NOTE: UNDER EXTREME BRIGHT LIGHT CONDITIONS, THE SCREEN IMAGE MAY TAKE A FEW
SECONDS TO STABLIZE. PLEASE WAIT UNTIL THE IMAGE HAS STABLIZED BEFORE BACKING
UP.
System testing
6. Reattach the vehicle’s negative battery cable.
7. Turn the ignition key to the accessory position, do not start the vehicle.
8. Engage the parking brake, and then put the shifter in the reverse position.
9. After testing the unit and you are satisfied with the route you have chosen for the cabling, you
must permanently install it.
10. Route all wires behind interior panels or under carpeting so they are hidden. Use supplied cable
ties to neatly gather any excess wire.

OPERATION
Please always pair the monitor and camera before the 1st operation, please refer to below
“Pairing” step.
There are 6 control buttons available for users to have their controls:

Power On/Off Button: Press to power on / turn off display. The display will be turn on by pressing
the button. Press for 3 seconds to shut down .

PARKING GUIDELINES DISPLAY /BACK BUTTON: Go back one level inside the menu control.
Press to show Parking guideline. Press for 3 seconds until it starts flashing, use UP/DOWN button to
adjust parking guideline display and then press Enter button to confirm.

ENTER BUTTON: Press to confirm selection inside the menu control.
❹
DOWN BUTTON: Moving down for selection inside the menu control.
❺
UP/CHANNELS SWITCHING BUTTON: Moving up for selection inside the menu control. Switching
between channel 1 & 2.

Menu button
Press the Menu button to enter the menu screen as shown below: pairing, display & system info.
Pairing:
Select the “pairing” icon with the arrow buttons and press the Power button. Select camera 1 or 2 with
the arrow keys and then "OK". Shortly after press the rubber button on the bottom of camera until the
signal is well received by the monitor and “OK” appears on the screen. The unit will work properly and
will automatically pair by itself in the future operation. Press the menu button to exit the selection or it
will automatically exit after 30s.
Display
Brightness, contrast, colour, rotate settings. Press Up & Down button to choose. In this menu you can
change brightness, contrast or colour of the picture. Choose the desired function with the arrow
buttons, confirm by pressing the enter button and change the values with the arrow buttons.

Shows current monitor & camera system software versions.

LTC warrants this product for a period of 1 years from the date of purchase to the original purchaser.
Warranty is not transferable. Warranty covers defect against workmanship and materials only. To
obtain warranty service, please return the unit to the place of purchase or authorized LTC dealer
together with your proof of purchase. The warranty is void if the product has been damaged or not
used as described in this manual. Warranty is void if a non-authorized repair has been performed. LTC
makes no other warranty expressed or implied. LTC is only responsible for repair or replacement (at
LTC´s Discretion) of the defective product and is not responsible for any consequential damage or
inconvenience caused by the defect.
