Training
1.
Read the instructions carefully. Be familiar with the controls
and the correct use of the machine.
2.
Never allow children, persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge or
people unfamiliar with these instructions to use the machine.
Local regulations can restrict the age of the operator.
3.
Keep in mind, that the operator or user is responsible for
accidents or hazards occurring to other people or their
property.
Preparation
4. Obtain ear protection and safety glasses. Wear them at all
times while operating the machine.
5.
While operating the machine always wear substantial
footwear and long trousers. Do not operate the machine
when barefoot or wearing open sandals. Avoid wearing
clothing that is loose tting or that has hanging cords or ties.
6. Operate the machine in a recommended position and only
on a rm, level surface.
7. Do not operate the machine on a paved or gravel surface
where ejected material could cause injury.
8.
Before using, always visually inspect to see, that the
shredding means bolts and other fasteners are secure,
the housing is undamaged and that guards and screens are
in place. Replace worn or damaged components in sets to
preserve balance. Replace damaged or unreadable labels.

9. Before use check the supply and extension cord for signs
of damage or aging. If the cord becomes damaged during
use, disconnect the cord from the supply immediately. DO
NOT TOUCH THE CORD BEFORE DISCONNECTING THE
SUPPLY. Do not use the machine if the cord is damaged
or worn.
10.
Never operate the machine while people, especially children,
or pets are nearby.
Operation
1. Before starting the machine, make certain that the feeding
chamber is empty.
2.
Keep your face and body away from the feed intake opening.
3.
Do not allow hands or any other part of the body or clothing
inside the feeding chamber, discharge chute, or near any
moving part.
4.
Keep proper balance and footing at all times. Do not
overreach. Never stand at a higher level than the base of
the machine when feeding material into it.
5. Always stand clear of the discharge zone when operating
this machine.
6.
When feeding material into the machine be extremely careful
that pieces of metal, rocks, bottles, cans or other foreign
objects are not included.
7. If the cutting mechanism strikes any foreignobjects or
if the machine should start making any unusual noise
or vibration, immediately shut off the power source and
allow the machine to stop. Disconnect the machine from
the supply and take the following steps before restarting
and operating the machine:
- inspect for damage;
- replace or repair any damaged parts;
- check for and tighten any loose parts.

8.
Do not allow processed material to build up in the discharge
zone; this may prevent proper discharge and can result in
kickback of material through the feed intake opening.
9.
If the machine becomes clogged, shut-off the power source
and disconnect the machine from supply before cleaning
debris.
10.
Never operate the machine with defective guards or shields,
or without safety devices, for example debris collector in
place.
11.
Keep the power source clean of debris and other
accumulations to prevent damage to the power source or
possible re.
12.
Do not transport this machine while the power source is
running.
13. Stop the machine, and remove plug from the socket.
Make sure that all moving parts have come to a complete
stop:
- whenever you leave the machine;
- before clearing blockages or unclogging chute;
- before checking, cleaning or working on the machine;
- if the machine starts to vibrate abnormally, for
immediately check.
14. Do not tilt the machine while the power source is running.
15.
Do not overreach and keep the balance at all times, always
be sure of the footing on slopes and walk, never run.
16. Do not touch moving hazardous parts before the machine
is disconnected from the mains and the moving hazardous
parts have come to a complete stop.
17. Keep extension cords away from moving hazardous parts
to avoid damages to the cords which can lead to contact
with live parts.
18.
Disconnect the machine from the mains, if the cord becomes
damaged or entangled during use.

Maintenance and storage
1.
When the machine is stopped for servicing, inspection,
or storage, or to change an accessory, shut off the power
source, disconnect the machine from the supply and make
sure that all moving parts are come to a complete stop.
Allow the machine to cool before making any inspections,
adjustments, etc. Maintain the machine with care and keep
it clean.
2.
Store the machine in a dry place out of the reach of children.
3. Always allow the machine to cool before storing.
4. When servicing the shredding means be aware that, even
though the power source is switched off due to the interlock
feature of the guard, the shredding means can still be moved.
5.
Replace worn or damaged parts for safety. Use only genuine
replacement parts and accessories.
6.
Never attempt to override the interlocked feature of the
guard.
Additional safety instructions for units with bagging
attachments
1.
Switch the product off before attaching or removing the
collection box.
Recommendation
1.
The machine should be supplied via a residual current
device (RCD) with a tripping current of not more than 30 mA.
2.
Avoid using the machine in bad weather conditions especially
when there is a risk of lightning.

Additional warnings
1.
This appliance must be earthed! Use only three core
extension cables with the earth wire connected. If an
extension cord is used, make sure the extension cord is
specically designed for outdoor use with earthing terminal
and not lighter than H07RN-F, 3x1.5mm² and max. 75m.
2.
Carry the product by the handle with the motor off. Handling
the product properly reduces the possibility of personal
injury.
3.
If the product starts to vibrate abnormally, check it
immediately. Excessive vibration can cause injury.
4. Always ensure the product is fully assembled before using
it. Never attempt to use an incomplete product or one tted
with an unauthorised modication.
5. Do not overload the product.
6.
Follow the maintenance and repair instructions for this
product. Never carry out any modications to the product.
Information about maintenance and repair is provided in
this user manual.
7. Only use replacement parts and accessories supplied and
recommended by the manufacturer. Using third-party parts
will immediately invalidate the guarantee!
8.
Do not leave the product working unattended and keep it
in a dry place out of children’s reach.
9.
Keep hands and feet away from the cutting means at all
times and especially when switching on the motor.
10.
Do not touch the cutting means before the product is
disconnected from the power supply and the cutting means
have come to a complete stop.
11.
Whilst using the product, ensure the cable does not become
trapped under the wheels or feet.

means the motor can work continuously with working cycle: maximum
power load 2800W for 40% of the time period, and no load running for
60% of the time period.
Switch the product off and disconnect it from the power supply
before assembly, cleaning, adjustments, maintenance, storage and
transportation.

Unpacking
1.
Remove the box from the frame, unpack all parts and lay them on a at, stable surface.
2. Remove all packing materials and shipping devices, if applicable.
3.
Make sure the delivery contents are complete and free of anydamage. If you nd that
parts are missing or show damage do not use the product but contact your dealerU
sing an incomplete or damaged product represents a hazard to people and property.
4.
Ensure that you have all the accessories and tools needed for assembly and operation.
This also includes suitable personal protective equipment.
WARNING! The product and the packaging are not children’s toys! Children
must not play with plastic bags, sheets and small parts! There is a danger of
choking and suffocation! The product is heavy, ask another person for assistance
if required.

Foot assembly
1. Align the foot (9) with the hole on the frame (8)(Fig. 1).
2. Insert and tighten the bolt (9a) to secure the connection.
3. Repeat the operation for the second foot.

2. Insert and tighten the bolt (9a) to secure the connection.
3. Repeat the operation for the second foot.
1. Place the motor unit upside down.

the motor unit, ensure the shape on motor unit match the one on
base plate (Fig. 2, step 1).
3. Align the holes and secure the connection with the screws (x6)
(23)(Fig. 2, step 2).

1.

(wheel axle)(10). Do not remove the bushing (10b).
2.

bushing (10b) through the holes and then tighten the nut (10c) hand tight. (Fig. 3).
3.
Lock the bolt (wheel axle)(10) with a spanner and tighten the nut(10c) clockwise
with another spanner gripping the nut.
4. Repeat the operation for the second wheel.
5. Place the product back on its wheels(12) and feet (9).

4. Repeat the operation for the second wheel.
5. Place the product back on its wheels(12) and feet (9).
1. Align the 3 latches (11a) on the wheel cover (11) with the
slots(12a)onthewheelandrmlypressthewheelcover(11)
until latches (11a) snap in place (Fig. 4).
2. Repeat the operation for the second wheel cover.

Wheel cover assembly
1.
Align the 3 latches (11a) on the wheel cover (11) with the slots(12a) on the wheel
and rmly press the wheel cover (11) until latches (11a) snap in place (Fig. 4).
2. Repeat the operation for the second wheel cover.

Collection box assembly
Switch off and unplug the machine before attaching or removing the collection
box.
1. Insert the collection box (13) into the frame (8) (Fig. 5).
2. Fully pull up the interlock switch (13a) to its ON position (Fig. 6).
WARNING! If the interlock switch (13a) is not fully pulled up to its locked position
the motor will not start. The product automatically stops if the interlock switch
moves to its lower unlock position during operation.
WARNING! Always use the product with its collection box attached when
operating to protect yourself against ying debris and avoid injuries! Do not
use this product with a damaged collection box or without one at all!
Never attempt to override the interlock feature of collection box.

Switch off and unplug the machine before attaching or
removing the collection box.
WARNING! If the interlock switch (13a) is not fully pulled up
to its locked position the motor will not start.
The product automatically stops if the interlock switch moves
to its lower unlock position during operation.
WARNING! Always use the product with its collection box
attachedwhenoperatingtoprotectyourselfagainstying
debris and avoid injuries! Do not use this product with a
damaged collection box or without one at all!
Never attempt to override the interlock feature of collection
box.
Collection box assembly
Adjusting the blade clearance
1. Insert the collection box (13) into the frame (8) (Fig. 5).
2. Fully pull up the interlock switch (13a) to its ON position (Fig. 6).
1. Ensure the product is switched ON.
2. Turn the lock ring (6) anticlockwise, to free the counterblade
adjuster (5) (Fig. 7).
3. Turn the counterblade adjuster (5) slowly clockwise until you
hear scraping noises (Figs. 8, 9). Small aluminium shavings will

For an effective operation, adjust the blade clearance
regularly.

Adjust the clearance between the counter blade and cutting blades rstly
before you starting up the machine! For an effective operation, adjust the
blade clearance regularly.
1. Ensure the product is switched ON.
2. Turn the lock ring (6) anticlockwise, to free the counterblade adjuster (5) (Fig. 7).
3. Turn the counterblade adjuster (5) slowly clockwise until you hear scraping noises
(Figs. 8, 9). Small aluminium shavings will come out of the discharge chutes.

4.
Turn the lock ring (6) clockwise, to secure the position of the counter blade adjuster (5).
5. Avoid unnecessary wear on the counter blade by not overadjusting.
6. After adjusting, make cutting tests to check if the best effect is achieved. Readjust
if necessary.

Intended use
This shredder is designed for cutting of brous and woody garden waste for composting.
This product is not intended for shredding pieces of metal, rocks, bottles, cans, etc. or
soft waste such as kitchen rubbish. For safety reasons it is essential to read the entire
instruction manual before rst operation and to observe all the instructions therein.
This product is intended for private domestic use only, not for any commercial trade use.
It must not be used for any purposes other than those described.

Switch ON: Press the on switch “I” (16) for about 1 second to switch the product
on (Fig. 10).
2. Switch OFF:Press the off switch “0”(19) to switch the product off.

Reverse switch: Keep pressing the reverse switch (17), the shredder will rotate in
reverse direction. The shredder manually stops when you release the reverse switch.
Warning! Switch off the shredder before changing to reverse direction.
NOTE: Use the reverse switch to release jammed material. Several repetitions
of reverse and forward operations may be required to shred a large object.

bottles, cans, etc. or soft waste such as kitchen rubbish.
