THE REST OF THE STORY: CONTROLS
Aswepointed outatthe startofthis sec-

organizedintotwodistinctareas:eightchan-

AUX Sends

arecontrolledbytheAUX1andAUX2knobs.
Thesearemore thanjusteffectssends.
Theycanbeusedtogenerateseparatemixes

cast),orasmonitormixes.
• TheAUXsendsarepost-gaincontrol,
post-equalizer.Thatis,theyfollowtheEQ
andleveladjustmentsfor each channel.
• PAN has no effect on the sends.
• All sends range from full “off” at the
extremecounterclockwise positionto
Unity with their channel gain controls at
thecenterdetentposition. There’s an
extra 15dB of gain once you pass the
detent.However,youshould be careful
nottooverloadwhatever device you’re
sendingsignalto.
• On Channels 1–4 only, the AUX controls
canbe changed to pre-fade/pre-equalizer.
See page9 “MS 1202 Modification”for
furtherdetails.
• Channel 5–12 AUX pots mix the mono
sumoftheirrespective stereo inputs.
