1 Introduction
1.1 Description
The wM-Bus 868 USB Key radio module
is a radio transceiver in the ISM 868 MHz
band designed to communicate with the
Maddalena wM-Bus radio modules.
wM-Bus 868 USB Key is equipped with a
USB-A type connector, used both as a pow-
er source and to send and receive data from
a PC / Tablet.
The front-end radio has a built-in anten-
na, making wM-Bus 868 USB Key ideal for
walk-by reading operations for submeter-
ing, where compactness and portability are
key features.
The USB radio module sends and receives
data via the USB port using a specic pro-
tocol and has been designed to be coupled
with Maddalena reading and conguration
software on both Windows and Android op-
erating systems.
