rear

tuner
plugs.

RemovePhonoinputplug

Amplifier
plugs.

wood
screws
holding
thetop
chassis
braces.

Remove

chassis
bolts
from
the
bottom.

Remove
the
chassis.
9.
Remove
1
wood
screw
holding
the
antenna
terminal
board.

Usethe
special
spanner
wrenchincludedwith
the
cabinet
and
remove
2 hex
nutsfrom
the
front
control
shaftsholding
the
control
unit
and
tuner
assembly.
Remove
the
assembly.
11.
Remove
speaker
leads.
12.
Remove
1
wood
screw
holding
the
speaker
terminal
board.
13.
Remove
4
wood
screws
holding
the
amplifier
chassis.

Selector
and

Set
the
Fine
Tuning
atthe
center
ofits
range.
The
adjustments
are
accessible,
oneata
time,
asthe
Channel
Selector
is
rotated.
Adjust
for
best
picture
and
sound.
PICTURE
TUBESAFETYGLASS
CLEANING
Remove
6
wood
screws
from
thetop
metal
trim
strip.
Tilt
the
safety
glass
outatthetopand
lift
upto
remove.
FOCUS
The
focus
maybe
varied
in
steps
bythe
position
ofa
plug
In
the
Focus
Adjustment
board.
HORIZONTAL
OSCILLATORFIELDADJUSTMENTS
For
adjustment
ofthe
Horizontal
Oscillator,
itis
necessary
to
remove
the
rear
cover
and
supply
power
to
set.
Setthe
Horizontal
Hold
atthe
center
of
its
range
and
adjust
the
Horizontal
Frequency
slug
(Bl)
until
the
picture
synchronizes
horizontally.

FUSES
One
fuse
Is
used
for
Horizontal
Sweep
circuit
protection.
(For
location,
see
tube
placement
chart.)
CENTERING
Centering
is
accomplishedmechanically
by
adjusting
two
magnetic
rings
around
the
neck
ofthe
picture
tube.
Rotate
thetwo
rings
around
the
neck
ofthe
tubeuntil
the
picture
is
properly
centered.
