What’s in the Box?
How to connect to your TV
The unit can be connection to your TV using an audio video
cable 3 RCA to 3 RCA (supplied), this will allow any picture
to appear on your television screen once you have chosen
the correct input on your television - all televisions are
different so please refer to your TV manual for this.
To connect the karaoke unit for audio plug one end of the
AV 3 RCA into the rear of the unit Video (Ref.1), Audio Right
(Ref.2) and Audio Left (Ref.3). The plugs are colour coded.
The picture will then be displayed on your screen and audio
via the karaoke unit.

Please note: all “(Ref.)” refer to Page 1 Controls and Functions mapping guide.
Basic Operation
Plug the 12V adapter connector into the back of the system
labelled DC 12V (Ref.4) and the power supply into the mains.
Press the‘Power’button to turn on the unit (Ref.4).
To select a source press the ‘Source’button (Ref.5). Press
multiple times until your required option is selected which
will show on the display screen (Ref.1).
There are four options:
Cd – Audio Player
U – USB
AH– Aux In
Bt – Bluetooth Connection
To turn the unit off press the ‘Power’ button (Ref.4). To turn
off fully, switch off at the mains.
The cord must be out of reach of children.
CD Player
To select your source press the ‘Source’button (Ref.5). Scroll
through your choices which will be displayed on the front
display screen (Ref.1) – choose “CD”.
Push ‘Open/Close’ button (Ref.10) and insert the audio disc
in the compartment, then close the compartment door.
The disc will start playing automatically. If no disc is loaded
“No” will be displayed on the screen (Ref.1).
Use the ‘Play/Pause’ button (Ref.18) to pause or resume
playing.
Use ‘Previous’ (Ref.14) or ‘Next’ (Ref.15) buttons to skip
between tracks, to fast forward or rewind a track press and
hold the ‘Previous’ (Ref.14) or ‘Next’ (Ref.15) buttons.
Use the ‘Stop’button (Ref.17) to stop a track.
Use the ‘Repeat’ button (Ref.3) to repeat the track that is
currently playing.
How to programme songs in a preselected order
Use the ‘Prog’ button (Ref.2) to programme and play songs
in a preselected order.
When CD has stopped, press the ‘Prog’ button (Ref.2) until
the Programme LED flashes. The track will read “0”on the
display. Press the‘Previous’ (Ref.14) or ‘Next’ (Ref.15)
buttons to select a desired track.
Press the‘Prog’ button (Ref.2) to confirm.
You can repeat the same step for up to 20 tracks.
Microphone Operation
MIC Dial (Ref.7) – Adjust the microphone volume control
on your unit to obtain the best performance. To avoid
microphone feedback do not hold the microphone too
close to the speaker.
ECHO Dial (Ref.8) – Adjust the echo control on your unit to
enhance the singer’s voice for a concert hall effect.
BALANCE Dial (Ref.11) – Allows you to eliminate the lead
singer’s voice by rotating the‘Balance’ dial (Ref.11) left
when playing multiplex recordings, or eliminate the music
when rotating the dial right.
AVC –Auto Voice Control (for multiplex discs only) – The
AVC button (Ref.12) allows you to replace the lead singers
voice with your own when playing a multiplex recording.
The vocals on the multiplex recording will be muted when
using the microphone. When the microphone is not in use,
the pre-recorded vocals will resume on a multiplex disc.
VOLUME dial (Ref.9) – adjust the volume using this dial.
Light Operation
On the front of the unit is a light display that you can adjust
by using the ‘Light’ button (Ref.6). Press the button multiple
times to visually see the options. You can also press the light
display to “off”.

AB Operation
A/B (Ref.13) – This function will allow the user to repeat a
desired portion of playback. To choose the part of the CD or
MP3 track you would like to playback press the ‘A-B’ button
(Ref.13) to mark point A. Then press the ‘A-B’ button again
(Ref.13) to mark point B. The track section will repeatedly
playback between these points. To cancel the playback and
to continue watching or listening to the track press the A/B
button (Ref.13) a third time.
NOTE: 1. This function works for MP3 and CD but not for
CDG or Kodak picture CD discs.
2. For CD and MP3, the start and end point of the A-B
selection must be within the same track.
USB Port
Connect the USB into the USB port (Ref.5).
To select your source press the ‘Source’button (Ref.5). Scroll
through your choices, which will be displayed on the front
display screen (Ref.1) – choose “U”.
Music will load and play automatically
Use ‘Previous’ (Ref.14) or ‘Next’ (Ref.15) buttons to skip
between tracks. To fast forward or rewind a track press and
hold the ‘Next’ or ‘Previous’ buttons.
Use the ‘Play/Pause’ button (Ref.18) to pause or resume
playing.
Use the ‘Stop’button (Ref.17) to stop a track.
Use the ‘Repeat’ button (Ref.3) to repeat a track that is
currently playing.
See page 3 to programme your songs in a preselected
order.
Aux-In Port
You can connect your phone or tablet with an Aux 3.5mm
cable that connects to the Aux-In jack on the rear of the unit
(Ref.6).
Insert the audio cable. To select your mode press the‘Source’
button (Ref.5). Scroll through your choices which will be
displayed on the front display screen (Ref.1) – choose “AH”.
Bluetooth Connection
Bluetooth Mode
You can pair and connect any Bluetooth-enabled portable
device with the unit through Bluetooth wireless connection.
Select Bluetooth using the ‘Source’ button (Ref.5). The
choices will be displayed on the front display screen (Ref.1)
– choose “BT” which is Bluetooth mode.
Turn Bluetooth on your phone and “PTY-KAR-WHT” will
appear, click on this to connect.
The unit will play a short sound when connected and the
“BT” on the display screen will remain lit.
To play music you will need to select the album or playlist
from your phone, but once selected you can then use the
‘Previous’ (Ref.14) or ‘Next’ (Ref.15) buttons to select
previous or next tracks.
You can also use the ‘Play’ (Ref.18) or ‘Pause’ (Ref. 18)
buttons to play or pause a track.
To disconnect the Bluetooth function press and hold the
‘Play/Pause’ button (Ref.18) for a few seconds.

Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in
any way, such as power- supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid
has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the
apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not
operate normally or has been dropped.
13. No naked flame sources, such as lit candles, should be placed
on the apparatus.
14. Dispose of used electrical products and batteries safely
according to your local authority and regulations.
ADDITIONAL WARNINGS
The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and
no objects filled with liquid, such as vases, shall be placed on
apparatus.
Main plug is used to disconnect device and it should remain
readily operable during intended use. In order to disconnect the
apparatus from the main mains completely, the mains plug should
be disconnected from the main socket outlet completely.
Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine,
fire or the like.

You should now recycle your waste electrical goods and in doing
so help the environment.

Power Supply
The unit is portable but will require batteries. The battery
compartment (Ref.9) requires 8 x ‘C’ Batteries. The unit can also
be powered by the UK Standard plug and lead supplied.
To open the battery compartment (Ref.9) push the two hooks
on the door to the battery compartment down.
Warranty
All products come with a standard 12 month warranty.
All items must be registered on www.majoritytech.co.uk
for the warranty to be valid. Once on the web page use the
menu to find “register your product”.
You will also be given the chance to extend your warranty
for an additional 24 months free of charge.
