Vorgesehener Einsatz Intended use
▪Die Schlagschrauber werden zum Anziehen und
Lösen von Schrauben und Muttern von M 6 bis M
110 eingesetzt.
▪Jeglicher Missbrauch der Maschine außerhalb der
oben genannten Einsatzgebiete ist nicht zulässig.
Bei Zuwiderhandlung entfällt jegliche Haftung für
Folgeschäden.
▪Aus Gründen der Produkthaftung und
Betriebssicherheit müssen alle Änderungen an
den Maschinen und/oder Zubehör muss vom dafür
verantwortlichen Techniker des Herstellers
genehmigt werden.
▪Für Schäden die durch Nicht beachten der
Betriebsanleitung oder unsachgemäße Reparatur
sowie die Verwendung von nicht Original
Ersatzteilen entstehen wird keine Haftung
übernommen. Änderungen, die dem technischen

Sicherheitshinweise Safety instructions
▪Beim Einsatz der Maschine stets Gehörschutz
tragen.
▪Stets geeignete Schutzkleidung tragen. Schützen
Sie Ihre Hände, Haare und Kleidung vor dem
Erfassen durch rotierende Teile.
▪Maschine nur mit ausgeschaltetem Ventil und
eingespanntem Werkzeug an das Druckluftnetz
anschließen.
▪Maschine nicht am Druckluftschlauch tragen.
▪Beachten Sie die Gefahr eines schlagenden
Druckluftschlauches !
▪Fließdruck von 6,3 bar darf während des
Betriebs keinesfalls überschritten werden.
▪Beachten Sie die Gefahr infolge von unerwartet
auftretenden Bewegungen der Maschine durch
Reaktionskräfte oder Bruch des eingesetzten
Werkzeuges !
▪Halten Sie Ihre Hände fern vom eingesetzten
Werkzeug.
▪Beachten Sie die Gefahr von Splitter, die bei Bruch
des eingesetzten Werkzeugs mit hoher
Geschwindigkeit wegfliegen können !
▪Beachten Sie die Gefahr von unerwarteten
Bewegungen des Einsatz Werkzeuges !
▪Always wear ear protection when working with the
machine.
▪Always wear suitable protective clothing. Protect your
hands, hair and clothing from contact with rotating
parts.
▪Only connect the machine with the compressed air
system when the valve is switched off and the tools
are restrained.
▪Do not carry the machine by the compressed air pipe.
▪Be aware of the danger of a flapping air hose.
▪The operating pressure of 6 bar must by no means be
exceeded during operation.
▪Please be aware of the inherent danger from
unexpected machine movements caused by
recoil/reaction forces or breakage of the working tool !
▪Keep your hands away from the working tool.
▪Please be aware of the danger from splinters which
can fly out at high speeds if there is a breakage of the
working tool !

Inbetriebnahme Commissioning
▪Das Werkzeug stets nur nach den jeweils
geltenden Vorschriften für handgeführte
Druckluftwerkzeuge betreiben. Lesen Sie vor
Benutzung den beiliegenden Sicherheitshinweis.
▪Vor dem Anschluss der Maschine ist die
Druckluftleitung (der Druckluftschlauch) gut
durchzublasen, um eventuell vorhandene
Schmutzpartikel zu entfernen.
▪Prüfen Sie vor Anschluss der Maschinen Ihre
Druckluft auf Wassergehalt. Wasser, Korrosion
etc. im Leitungsnetz verursachen Rost innerhalb
des Motors und damit einen hohen Verschleiß
bzw. Ausfall der Maschinen.
▪Vorgeschriebene Luftqualität gemäß DIN ISO
8573-1, Qualitätsklasse 3 bereitstellen.
▪Benutzen Sie eine Wartungseinheit, die so nahe
wie möglich an dem Maschine angebracht sein
sollte. Die Ölliefermenge auf 2-3 Tropfen (1
Tropfen = 15 mm³) pro Minute einstellen. Wir
empfehlen den Einsatz eines Nebelölers bzw.
Wartungseinheit von MANNESMANN DEMAG.
▪An der Wartungseinheit einen Betriebsdruck von
max. 6,3 bar einstellen. Ölstand kontrollieren und
ggf. Öl nachfüllen.
▪Maschine nach Beendigung des Arbeitsganges
ausschalten und nach Stillstand sicher ablegen.
Maschine von der Druckluftversorgung abschalten.
▪Auf die richtige Lichte Weite des
Druckluftschlauches achten ! Siehe hierzu
Technische Daten der Maschine.
▪Only use the tool in accordance with the respective
regulations that apply to the use of manually operated
compressed air tools. Please read the safety
instructions enclosed before use.
▪Before the machine is connected, the compressed air
feed (the compressed air pipe) should be well blow
through to remove any dirt particles.
▪Check your compressed air for water before the
machine is connected. Water, corrosion etc. in the pipe
system causes rust inside the motor and more wear
and/or failures of the machine.
▪Supply specified air quality in accordance with DIN
ISO 8573-1, quality class 3.
▪Use a maintenance unit which is placed as close as
possible to the machine. Set the oil supply quantity to
2-3 drops (1 drop = 15 mm3) per minute. We
recommend the use of a fog oiling agent and/or
maintenance unit from MANNESMANN DEMAG.
▪Set an operational pressure of max. 6.3 bar on the
maintenance unit. Check the oil level and refill if
necessary.
▪Switch off the machine after use and place in a safe
place when not in use. Disconnect the machine from
the compressed air supply.
▪Please ensure the correct clearance of the
compressed air pipe! See Technical data for the
machine.

▪Maschine nicht im Leerlauf betreiben (unnötiger
Verschleiß da höchste Drehzahl). Bei Leerlauf
kann sich der Steckschlüssel lösen. Grundsätzlich
erst auf Schraube/Mutter Maschine einschalten. –
Verletzungsgefahr -
▪Do not operate the machine in neutral (unnecessary
wear due to highest rotation speed). The socket
wrench can loosen itself when running in idle. The
machine should only ever be switched on after the
screw / nut has been engaged. - Injury danger !
Werkzeugwechsel Changing tools
ALLGEMEIN
▪Vor jedem Werkzeugwechsel Maschine vom
Druckluftnetz trennen.
▪Stets einsatzfähiges Werkzeug verwenden. Das
maximal zulässige Drehmoment von Muttern und
Schrauben muss größer sein als das zu
verschraubende Drehmomente der Maschine.
▪Defekte oder nicht passende Werkzeugeinsätze
haben Unfallgefahr zur Folge. Im Vierkant
verschlissene Steckschlüssel beschädigen den
Antriebsvierkant der Maschine.
▪Passende Steckschlüssel auf Antriebsvierkant der
Maschine aufsetzen, dabei auf Arretierung
achten. Die zugehörigen Einsatzwerkzeuge
finden Sie in unserem Katalog.
GENERAL
▪Disconnect the machine from the compressed air
system before every tool change.
▪Always use operational tools. The maximum
permissible torque of the nuts and screws must be
greater than the torque required for tightening by the
machine.
▪Defective or non-suitable tool inserts can be the cause
of accidents. Socket wrenches with worn internal
squares can damage the machine’s drive square neck.
▪Place the correct socket wrench onto the machine’s
drive square neck and be aware of the locking device.

ANTRIEBS-VIERKANT MIT BOHRUNG(Bild 1)
▪Steckschlüssel mit Stift (A) verbinden und mit O-Ring
(B) sichern. Das Lösen geschieht in umgekehrter
Reihenfolge. Die vom Hersteller empfohlenen Teile
benutzen.
ANTRIEBS-VIERKANT MIT SICHERUNGSSTIFT
(Bild2)
▪Steckschlüssel auf Antriebsvierkant aufstecken bis
Sicherungsstift (A) einrastet. Zum Lösen mit Stift (B)
auf Sicherungsstift (A) drücken und danach
Steckschlüssel abziehen.
ANTRIEBS-VIERKANT MIT KLEMMSICHERUNG
(Bild3)
▪Steckschlüssel aufschieben bzw. abziehen.
▪Schnellwechselfutter
Rändelhülse (A) nach hinten ziehen, Werkzeug
einstecken, Hülse loslassen.
DRIVE-SQUARE WITH BORE (Picture 1)
▪Connect the socket wrench with pin (A) and secure
using O-ring (B). Disconnecting takes place in the
reverse sequence. Use only parts recommended by
the manufacturer.
DRIVE-SQUARE WITH SECURING PIN (Picture 2)
▪Stick the socket wrench so far onto the drive square
neck until the securing pin (A) snaps in. To release;
use pin (B) to press the securing pin (A) and then pull
off the socket wrench.
DRIVE-SQUARE WITH CLAMPING LOCK (Picture 3)
▪Push on, alternatively pull off socket wrench.
▪QUICK CHANGE CHUCK
Pull knurled screw backwards, insert the bit, release
the knurled screw.
Handhabung Ein- und Ausschalten Handling Switching on and off
DRÜCKER (Bild 4)
Zum Einschalten Drücker (A) in Pfeilrichtung
drücken (EIN), zum Ausschalten loslassen (AUS).
RECHTS- UNDLINKSLAUF(Bild5)
▪Die Drehrichtung wird durch das Drehen des
Hebels (A) eingestellt.
R = Rechtslauf - L = Linkslauf
DREHMOMENT–
bei Schlagschrauber mit Drosselstufen (Bild 6)
▪Das Drehmoment ist von Stufe 1 –4 einstellbar. Das
Drehmoment reduziert sich je Stufeum ca. 25%zuder
kleinsten Stufe (Stufe 4=100%).
PRESS BUTTON (Picture 4)
▪To switch on press (ON) the button switch (A) in the
arrow direction and release (OFF) to switch off.
RIGHT AND LEFT-HAND ROTATION (Picture 5)
▪The rotational direction is set by turning the lever (A).
R = Right-hand rotation - L = Left-hand rotation
TORQUE –
for impact screwdrivers with throttle switch (Picture 6)
▪The torque can be set from steps 1-4. The torque is
reduced by approx. 25 % per step until the smallest
step (step 4 = 100 %).

Arbeitsweise
Operation
ALLGEMEIN
▪Prüfen Sie den ordnungsgemäßen Sitz, wenn die
Maschine in einer Halterung betrieben wird.
▪Achten Sie auf die richtige Körperhaltung, um
normalen oder auch unerwarteten Bewegungen
der Maschine infolge von Reaktionskräften zu
begegnen.
▪Beachten Sie, dass aufgrund der Arbeitssituation
ein Stützgriff notwendig sein kann.
▪Bei Unterbrechung der Energiezufuhr (Druckluft)
ist der Drücker der Maschine loszulassen, um ein
unbeabsichtigtes Starten zu verhindern, wenn die
Unterbrechung beendet ist.
▪Werkstück sichern, Maschineauf Mutter/Schraube
aufsetzen und in Einsatz bringen. Nach einer
Schlagzeit von ca. 1 - 5 Sekunden ist das maximale
Drehmomenterreicht.
GENERAL
▪Check that the mounting is correct when the machine
is being used in a holding fixture.
▪Please be aware of correct body posture in order to
compensate for normal as well as unexpected
machine movements resulting from recoil / reaction
forces.
▪Please be aware that an extra supporting grip may be
necessary due to the actual operating situation.
▪The machine press button must be immediately
released if there is an interruption of the power supply
(pressurized air) in order to prevent an accidental start
when the interruption is corrected.
▪Secure the tool, place the machine onto the screw /
nut and start to use. The maximum torque will be
achieved after an impact time of approx. 1 –5
seconds.
Wartung
Maintenance
▪Vor Wartungsarbeiten Maschine vom Druckluftnetz
trennen.
▪Um eine einwandfreie Funktion und lange
Haltbarkeit der Maschine zu gewährleisten, sind
folgende Hinweise zu beachten:
▪Prüfen Sie regelmäßig die Wartungseinheit sowie
die Arbeitsluft auf die unter Inbetriebnahme
genannten Punkte.

Wartungseinheit (siehe Katalog)
▪Eine ausreichende und ständig intakte
Ölschmierung ist für eine optimale Funktion von
ganz entscheidender Bedeutung.
Wir empfehlen: MANNESMANN DEMAG Robotöl
(siehe Katalog).
▪Nach ca. 50 Betriebsstunden ist das
Schlagwerksfett sowie Kugellagerfett mit zähem
fadenziehendem Fett zu erneuern. Wir empfehlen
für das Schlagwerk: MANNESMANN DEMAG
Schlagwerkfett Nr. 09500938, für Kugellager:
Kugellagerfett Nr. 09500538
▪Lufteinlass der Maschine von eventuellem
Schmutz reinigen.
▪Disconnect the machine from the compressed air
system before undertaking any maintenance work.
▪Please observe the following information to ensure
problem-free operation and long-life for the machine:
▪Regularly check the maintenance unit and the working
air for the points mentioned below.
We recommend MANNESMANN DEMAG
maintenance unit
(see catalogue).
▪It is very important that there is adequate and
continuously intact oil lubrication for the machine to
function properly.
We recommend: MANNESMANN DEMAG Robotöl
(see catalogue).
▪After approx. 50 operating hours, the impact
mechanism’s grease as well as the roller bearing
grease should be renewed with a viscously stringy
type grease. We recommend for the impact
mechanism: MANNESMANN DEMAG Impact
Mechanism Grease No. 09500938, for the roller
bearings: Roller Bearing Grease No. 09500538
▪Remove any dirt from the air feed to the machine.

Reparatur
Repair
▪Bei nachlassender Leistung müssen die Lamellen
gewechselt werden.
▪Die Lamellen des Motors enthalten PTFE.
Befolgen Sie die mit diesen Materialien üblichen
Gesundheits- und Sicherheitsempfehlungen.
Vermeiden Sie offene Flammen, um ein
Entzünden/Rauchbildung von abgelösten Partikeln
der Lamellen zu verhindern. PTFE-Partikel Rauch
kann unter Umständen allergische Reaktion
hervorrufen.
▪Verwenden Sie nur Original-Ersatzteile.
Damit erhöhen Sie die Sicherheit sowie Laufzeit
der Maschine.
Bei Nichtverwendung von Originalteilen entfällt
die Garantieleistung.
▪Reparaturen sollten nur von geschultem Personal
durchgeführt werden. Bei Fragen wenden Sie sich
an den Hersteller oder an den nächsten
autorisierten Fachhändler.
▪Auf Wunsch können Ersatzteillisten nachgereicht
werden.
▪If the performance begins to deteriorate, exchange the
lamella.
▪The motor lamella contains PTFE. Please follow the
usual health and safety precautions for these
materials. Avoid open flames to prevent particles that
are released from the lamella from catching
fire/causing smoke. PTFE-particle smoke may cause
allergic reactions in some cases.
▪Only use original spare parts. This will increase the
safety and life of the machine. The warranty will
become void if original parts are not used.
▪Repairs should only be performed by trained
personnel. If you have any questions, please contact
the manufacturer or your nearest dealer.
▪Spare parts may be supplied on request.
Entsorgung Recycling
▪Zur Entsorgung sind die Maschinen vollständig zu
demontieren, zu entfetten und nach Materialarten
getrennt der Wiederverwertung zuführen.
▪To dispose of the machine, dismantle completely,
degrease and send the different materials separately
for recycling.
Garantie
Warranty
▪Für die Maschinen gewährt der Hersteller eine
Garantie von 12 Monaten auf Material- und
Konstruktionsfehler.
Schäden, die auf Abnutzung, Überlastung oder
unsachgemäße Behandlung sowie auf
Nichtbeachtung der Bedienungsanleitung
zurückzuführen sind, bleiben von der Garantie
ausgeschlossen. Beanstandungen können nur
anerkannt werden, wenn das Gerät unzerlegt
an den Hersteller gesandt wird und
Originalersatzteile verwendet werden.
▪The manufacturer provides a 12-month warranty for
the machine on all material and design errors. Damage
which arises due to wear, over-use or improper
handling and non-observance of the operating
instructions are not covered by the warranty. Claims
can only be processed if the appliance is returned
to the manufacturer in an assembled state. The
warranty will become void if original parts are not
used.
