RemoveManifoldBfrom the Cylinders. Sometimes the adapterwithstay incylinder
and othertimes itwill remaininManifoldB.Eitherwayitwill haveremoved for
furtherdisassembly.Use cautionhereso notto cause any damageto either
component.

If adapterstaysinManifoldB
and proves be difficultto
remove,Youmay use a flat
bladed screwdriverto gently
pry itfrom the manifold. There
will alwaysbe a small gap
between the adapterand
ManifoldB.Use cautionnotto
damageeithercomponent.
If adapterstaysincylinderand cannotbe
removed by simply twisting themapart
withyourhands youmay need to carefully
try holding cylinderwithyourhands and
twisting adapterwithsomepliers. Use
cautionto stay onthe largerboss ofthe
adapteroryouwill damagethe adapter
and itwill haveto be replaced.

Removethe valvestack
from ManifoldB.
Removethe cylindersfrom
pistonrods by sliding them
forward.

Nowthatyouhave
cylindersremoved
from the rods. Lookat
the components
closely.Takenote
howthe partsare
orientated forfuture
reference.
Removethe 10mm
nutretaining the
Pistonpacking and
associated items.

Layoutthe componentsinorderasyouremovethemsoyouwill knowhowtoreassemble
them.The Squarecutedgeofthe pistonalwaysgoes towardthe ManifoldB.

ManifoldB CleanManifoldB,makesure
thereisno corrosionpresent.
Inspectthe sealing surfaces for
wearand flaws. Lightlylubricate
sealing surfaces thatwill be
receiving O-rings.
Lubricatewithlightweightoil
Install ValvesackintoManifoldB

Install the three springs intothe
valvesacks.

Install the three valves overthe springs. The valves
form a bowlshape whichcentersthe spring.

Lubricateand Install newO-rings onto eachadapter.Gently
push adapterintothe ManifoldB,Thiswill keep the valve
stacksinplace. Alwaysuse newO-rings .

Gently removethe Adaptersfrom
ManifoldA.Inspect&cleanthe
adapters. Lubricateand replacethe O-
Rings forreassembly.

Slide ManifoldA offofthe rods.
Inspectthe U-Packing and replaceif
necessary.Lubricatebeforereassembly.

Install ManifioldA onthe rods.
Removethe oldO-rings and
replacewithnewlubricated O-
rings. Slide adaptersinto
ManifoldA.

Install the inletvalve
seatand spaceronto
the pistonrod.
Lubricatethe piston
packing withlightoil
and slide itoverthe
spacer.The square
cutedgegoes toward
manifoldB.
Nowinstall the Piston
Retainer,Spring
Washer,and Nut.
Finallytighten the
nutsdown.

Lubricatethe Cylindersand slide them overthe Piston
Packing. Use yourfingersto compress the PistonPacking to
start itinto the cylinder.Neveruse any sharpobjectto do
thisasitwill damagethe PistonPacking.

Slide ManifoldBonto the cylinders.
Then Install the six6mm Allen head
screwswitha small amountof
Loctiteoneachbolt.

Run all six boltsdownto eliminatethe slack
between the boltsand the Manifold. Using
the patterninthe pictureyouaregoing to
slowlytighten the boltsto pull the manifold
downevenly.Thismaytaketwo orthree
times beforethe boltsarecompletelytight.
