watch to the best advan-
tage, we recommend that
you carefully read the
instructions in this leaflet.
1. PRESENTATION
Congratulations on purchasing your new Galliano watch.
Its particular and rened design, the materials, prestigious leather
and fabrics used to make it, place it among the most desiderable
of high fashion objects. To guarantee the your watch’s water-re-
sistance, check that the crown is always closed. Some models are
provided with a screw crown: to make adjustments this must be
unscrewed and rescrewed once the adjustments has been made.
Do not action the crown and buttons when the watch is under-
water. Although your watch is waterproof upto 3 atm. (depth of
30 meters), to maintain the quality of your watch-strap in fabric
or leather we recommend that you avoid wetting the watch. Your
watch’s battery has a life-splan of between 12 and 24 months.
Incorrect replacement can damage the mechanism. To replace it
we advise you to contact an authorised Assistance Centre or an
Ofcial Concessionaire. When the seconds hand moves forward at
2 second intervals it means the battery is almos at and should be
replaced. To safeguard the integrity of your watch’s mechanism it
is important not to change the date when the watch indicates a
time between 22.30 and 01.00.

1. Pull out the crown to rst click.
2. Turn the crown clockwise or counterclockwise (de-
pending on the model) until the correct date ap-
pears. Do not set the date between 9.00 PM and 1.00
AM. Otherwise, the day may not change correctly.
If it is necessary to set the date during that time period,rst
set the watch at a time that is not included between 9.00
PM and 1.00AM, set the date, and then set the correct time.
3. When the second hand is at 12, pull out the crown to the
second click. The second hand will stop. Set the hour
and minutes by turning the crown.
4. Return the crown to its original position.
The warranty is valid for two years from date of purchase; it is honored all
over the world in the case of conformity defects, duly confirmed by authorized
Service Centers. To benefit from the warranty it is essential to present to a
Dealer or a Technical Service Center the International Warranty card duly
compiled, stamped and dated by the Dealer at the time of purchase. Defects
deriving from accidents (knocks, crushing, etc.), improper use, the use of non-
prescribed batteries, dead batteries left inside the watch, alterations, repairs
and/or unauthorized tampering are strictly excluded from the warranty.
Batteries, glass, watch straps, discoloration of the plating or color, and the
consequences of normal wear and tear and aging of the watch are also
excluded from the warranty. Interventions under warranty must be carried
out at authorized Technical Service Centers. The Warranty shall be deemed
void if the watch is tampered with outside of our Technical Service Centres.
The same goes for interventions for replacing the batteries. For these, the
authorized Technical Service Centers will issue clients with certifications of
water resistance tests carried out.

Son design particulier et rafné,les matériaux,les cuirs et les tissus
de qualité supérieure utilisés pour sa réalisation en font l’un des ac-
cessoires de haute couture les plus convoités. Pour garantir l’étan-
chéité de la montre, vériez toujours que la couronne est fermée.
Certains modèles sont dotés de couronne à vis: pour accéder aux
réglages, il faut la dévisser, puis la visser de nouveau une fois
l’opération terminée. N’actionnez pas la couronne et les pous-
soirs quand la montre est immergée dans l’eau. Pour maintenir
la qualité de votre bracelet en tissu ou en cuir, même si votre
montre est étanche jusqu’à 3 atm (30 mètres de profondeur),
nous vous conseillons de ne pas mouiller la montre. La batterie
de votre montre a une durée comprise entre 12 et 24 mois. Une
opération de remplacement effectuée de manière incorrecte
peut endommanger le mécanisme; pour le remplacement, nous
vous conseillons donc de vous adresser à un Centre d’Assistance
agréé ou à un Concessionnaire Ofciel. Si l’aiguille des secondes
avance de 2 secondes à la fois, la batterie est presque épuisée
et il faut la remplacer. Pour protèger l’exactitude du mouve-
ment, il est indispensabile ne pas procéder au changement de la
date quand la montre inique les heures entre 22h 30 et 01h 00.

1. Tirer le remontoir jusqu’au premier déclic.
2. Tourner le remontoir dans le sens inverse des aiguilles
d’une montre (en fonction du modèle) jusqu’à l’af chage
de la date désirée. Si la date est réglée entre 21.00 et
1.00 heures, il se peut que la date ne change pas le jour
suivant. S’il est nécessaire de modier la date entre ces
deux heures, positionner les aiguilles sur une heure non
comprise entre 21.00 et 1.00, régler la date et replacer les
aiguilles à l’heure correcte.
3. Lorsque l’aiguille des secondes se trouve sur 12 heures,
tirer le remontoir jusqu’au second déclic.
L’aiguille des secondes s’arrête. Régler l’heure et les
minutes en tournant le remontoir.
4. Remettre le remontoir dans sa position initiale.
Cette garantie est valable à partir de la date d’achat. Elle sera appliquée
dans le monde entier en cas de défauts de conformité constatés et vérifiés
par les Centres d’Assistance agréés. Pour bénéficier de la garantie, il faut
présenter à un Concessionnaire ou à un Centre d’Assistance Technique
agréé l’International Warranty card (Carte de Garantie Internationale) dûment
remplie et reportant le cachet et la date apposés par le Concessionnaire au
moment de l’achat. Les défauts dérivant d’accidents (choc, écrasement, etc.),
utilisation incorrecte, utilisation de piles non approuvées, piles déchargées
laissées à l’intérieur de la montre, altérations, réparations et/ou modifications
non autorisées sont formellement exclus de la garantie. De plus, la garantie
ne couvre pas: les piles, les verres, les bracelets, la décoloration du placage
ou de la teinte, les effets dus à l’usure et au vieillissement normaux de la
montre. Les réparations sous garantie doivent impérativement être effectuées
par un centre d’assistance technique agréé. Toute altération pratiquée hors
de nos Centres d’Assistance Technique entraînera la cessation pure et
simple de la Garantie. Il en est de même pour le remplacement des piles.
Après cette intervention, le Centre d’Assistance Technique agréé délivrera les
certifications de l’exécution de l’essai d’étanchéité.

Herzlichen Glückwunsch für Ihre neue Uhr Galliano. Ihr spezielles
und raffiniertes Design, die Materialien, dal Leder und die bei ihrer
Herstellung verwendeten wertvollen Stoffe, reihen sie unter die be-
gehrtesten Modeobjekte. Damit die Wasserdichte der Uhr gewährlei-
stet ist, muss immer kontrolliert werden, dass die Krone geschlossen
ist. Einige Modelle sind mit einer Schraubkrone ausgestattet: Um die
Einstellung durch führen zu können, muss diese abgeschraubt wer-
den und nach der Verwendung wieder befestigt werden. Die Krone
und Tasten nicht betätigen, wenn sich die Uhr unter Wasser befindet.
Um die Qualität Ihres Armbandes aus Stoff oder Leder unverändert
zu erhalten, empfehlen wir Ihnen, die Uhr nicht nass zu machen,
auch wenn sie bis 3 atm (30 Meter Tiefe) wasserdicht ist. Die Batterie
Ihrer Uhr hat eine Lebensdauer von 12 bis einschließlich 24 Monaten;
ein nicht korrekter Austausch kann den Mechanismus beschädigen:
wir empfehlen Ihnen, sich für den Austausch der Batterien an eine
autiorisierte Kundendienststelle oder einen offiziellen Handler zu
wenden. Wenn der Sekundenzeiger mit 2-Sekunden Schritten läuft,
ist die Batterie fast leeer und muss ausgetauscht werden. Um die
richtigen Bewegungsabläufe nicht zu beeinträchtigen, darf auf kei-
nen Fall der Datumswechsel erfolgen, wenn die Uhr zwischen 22.30
und 01.00 zeigt.

1. Die Stellkrone bis zur ersten Raststellung herausziehen.
2. Die Stellkrone entgegen oder im Uhrzeigersinn drehen (je
nach Modell), bis das gewünschte Datum erscheint.
Das Datum bitte nicht zwischen 21 Uhr abends und 1 Uhr
nachts einstellen. Andernfalls stellt sich die Uhr nicht
korrekt ein. Falls es dennoch notwendig sein sollte, die Uhr in
diesem Zeitraum zu stellen,bitte zuerst die Uhrzeit so verstel-
len,dass sie nicht im kritischen Zeitraum zwischen 21 Uhr und
1 Uhr liegt. Danach ändern Sie das Datum wie gewünscht und
stellen die Uhr wieder auf die korrekte Uhrzeit ein.
3. Wenn sich der Sekundenzeiger in 12-Uhr-Stellung bendet,
ist die Stellkrone bis zur zweiten Raststellung herauszuzie-
hen. Der Sekundenzeiger hält an. Durch Drehen der Stellkro-
ne die Stunden und Minuten einstellen.
4. Die Stellkrone wieder in die Ausgangsstellung zurückbringen.
Die Garantie gilt zwei Jahre ab dem Kaufdatum und kann bei
Konformitätsmängeln, die von autorisierten Vertragskundendienstcentern
festgestellt wurden, in der ganzen Welt in Anspruch genommen werden. Um
die Garantie in Anspruch zu nehmen, ist die entsprechend ausgefüllte und
beim Kauf vom Vertragshändler abgestempelte und mit Datum versehene
International Warranty Card einem Vertragshändler oder einem autorisierten
Kundendienstcenter vorzulegen. Ausdrücklich von der Garantie ausgeschlossen
sind alle Mängel, die auf Unfälle (Stöße, Quetschungen usw.), unsachgemäße
Anwendung, Einsatz von unvorschriftsmäßigen Batterien, leere im Uhreninneren
zurückgelassene Batterien, Änderungen, sowie von Unbefugten vorgenommene
Reparaturen oder ungenehmigte Eingriffe zurückzuführen sind. Von der Garantie
ausgeschlossen sind ebenfalls: Batterien, Glas, Uhrenarmbänder, Verbleichung
von Plattierung oder Farbe, Folgen durch normale Abnutzung oder Alterung
der Uhr. Die Garantiearbeiten sind von autorisierten Kundendienstcentern
vorzunehmen. Jeder ungenehmigte Eingriff, der nicht von einem unserer
autorisierten Kundendienstcenter durchgeführt wird, bewirkt den Verfall
der Garantie. Dies gilt ebenfalls für den Austausch der Batterien, wobei die
autorisierten Kundendienstcenter den Kunden die Bescheinigungen über die
durchgeführten Wasserdichtigkeitsprüfungen ausstellen.
