ADJUSTING THE STOPWATCH HAND
POSITION
Before setting the time, check if all the chronograph hands - 1/10 second
(where applicable), second, minute - are at the "0"(12 o'clock) position.
If the stopwatch is in use, press the buttons in the following order to reset
it, and then, check if the hands return to "0" position.
(For details , see "HOW TO USE THE STOPWATCH")
* If the chronograph is counting : A -> B
* If the stopwatch is stopped : B
* If the split time is displayed : B -> A -> B

TIME SETTING
If either of the stopwatch hands are not in the "0" position , reset them
following the procedure below.
1) Pull the crown out to :
VD50, VD51, VD52, VD53, VD57 (calibres with date window):
second click
VD54, VD55, VD56, VD59 (calibres without date window) : first click
2) Press button A or B to reset all stopwatch hands to "0" position.
* The stopwatch minute hand moves correspondingly with the stopwatch
second hand.
* The hands move quickly if the respective buttons are kept pressed.
3) Push the crown back to the normal position.
* Before setting the time, check that the chronograph measurement is
stopped.
VD50, VD51, VD52, VD53, VD57 (calibres with date window) :
1) Pull out the crown to the first click.
2) Turn the crown clockwise until the preview day's date appears.

3) Pull out the crown to the second click when the second hand
is at the 12 o'clock position. It will stop on the spot. Set the
hands to the desired time of the day (make sure AM/PM is set
correctly) by turning the crown.
* When the crown is at the second click position, do not press any
button. Otherwise the chronograph hands
will move.
4) Push the crown back in the normal position in accordance with a time
signal.
* Do not set the date between 9:00 P.M. and 1:00 A.M, otherwise the
day may not change properly. If it is
necessary to set the date during the time period, firstly change the time
to any time outside it, set the date and
then reset the correct time.

* The measurement time is indicated by the stopwatch hands that move
independently of the center hands (and 24-hour hand where applicable).
* The stopwatch can measure up to 60 minutes
* The stopwatch measures in 1/10 second increments. (VD50, VD55,
VD56, VD57, VD59)

* Restart and stop of the stopwatch can be repeated
as many times as necessary by pressing button A.

The warranty is valid for two years. To benefit from the warranty it is essential to present to a Dealer
or a Technical Service Center the International Warranty card duly compiled, stamped and dated by the
Dealer at the time of purchase, together with the sales receipt. Defects deriving from accidents (knocks,
crushing, etc.), improper use, the use of non-prescribed batteries, dead batteries left inside the watch,
alterations, repairs and/or unauthorized tampering are excluded from the warranty. Batteries, glass,
watch straps, discoloration of the plating or color, and the consequences of normal wear and tear and
aging of the watch are also excluded from the warranty. Interventions under warranty must be carried out
at authorized Technical Service Centers, otherwise the product warranty will be discontinued.
The water resistant indication is valid only for brand new watches. Case is watertight for purposes of
DIN 8310.

REGLAGE DE LA POSITION DES
AIGUILLES DU CHRONOMETRE
* Avant de régler l’heure, s’assurer que toutes les aiguilles du chrono-
graphe – dixièmes de seconde (si prévus), secondes et minutes – sont en
position "0"(midi).
* Si le chronomètre est en marche, appuyer les boutons dans l’ordre
suivant pour le remettre à zéro, puis vérifier que les aiguilles reviennent
en position "0" (pour plus de détails, voir le chapitre "UTILISATION DU
CHRONOMETRE").
* Si le chronographe est en train de mesurer : A -> B
* Si le chronomètre est à l’arrêt : B
* Si le temps partiel est affiché : B -> A -> B

Si l’une des aiguilles du chronomètre n’est pas en position "0", appli-
quer la procédure suivante pour la remettre à zéro.
1) Extraire la couronne:
VD50, VD51, VD52, VD53, VD57 (calibres avec fenêtre de la date): au
deuxième déclic
VD54, VD55, VD56, VD59 (calibres sans fenêtre de la date): au premier
déclic
VD54, VD55, VD56, VD59 (calibres without date window) : first click
2) Appuyer sur le bouton A ou B pour ramener toutes les aiguilles du
chronomètre en position "0".
* L’aiguille des minutes du chronomètre se déplace en cohérence avec
l’aguille des secondes.
* Si les boutons sont maintenus enfoncés, les aiguilles se déplacent
rapidement.
3) Ramener la couronne dans sa position normale.

* Avant de régler l’heure, vérifier que la mesure du chronographe est à
l’arrêt.
VD50, VD51, VD52, VD53, VD57 (calibres avec fenêtre de la date):
1) Extraire la couronne jusqu’au premier déclic.

2) Tourner la couronne dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à
faire apparaître l’aperçu de la date du jour.
3) Extraire la couronne jusqu’au deuxième déclic lorsque l’aiguille des
secondes est en position "midi". Elle s’arrêtera immédiatement. Régler
les aiguilles sur l’heure du jour désirée (s’assurer que l’option AM/PM
est correctement réglée), en tournant la couronne.
* Lorsque la couronne se trouve dans la position du deuxième déclic,
n’appuyer sur aucun bouton. Le cas échéant, les aiguilles du chrono-
graphe vont se déplacer.
4) Ramener la couronne dans sa position normale selon un signal
horaire.
* Ne pas régler la date entre 21h00 et 01.00, car le changement de jour
pourrait ne pas se faire correctement. S’il est nécessaire de régler la
date pendant ce laps de temps, régler d’abord une heure quelconque en
dehors de celui-ci, régler la date puis réinitialiser l’heure correcte.

* Le temps mesuré est indiqué par les aiguilles du chronomètre, lesquel-
les se déplacent indépendamment des aiguilles centrales (et de l’aiguille
24 heures, si prévue).
* Le chronomètre peut mesurer jusqu’à 60 minutes.
* Le chronomètre mesure par pas d’un dixième de seconde (VD50,
VD55, VD56, VD57, VD59).
Mesure standard (par exemple, course sur 100 m)
Appuyer sur les boutons dans l’ordre suivant :

* En appuyant sur le bouton A, il est possible de démarrer/
arrêter le chronomètre autant de fois que nécessaire.

Cette garantie est valable deux ans. Pour bénéficier de la garantie, il est indispensable de présenter
l’International Warranty Card dument complétée, et portant le cachet du revendeur et la date d’achat,
à un revendeur ou un centre d’assistance technique agréé, ainsi que le ticket de caisse. Les défauts
dérivant d’accidents (choc, écrasement, etc.), utilisation incorrecte, utilisation de piles non approuvées,
piles déchargées laissées à l’intérieur de la montre, altérations, réparations et/ou modifications non
autorisées sont exclus de la garantie. De plus,la garantie ne couvre pas: les piles, les verres,les bracelets,
la décoloration du placage ou de la teinte, les effets dus à l’usure et au vieillissement normaux de la
montre. Les réparations sous garantie doivent impérativement être effectuées par un centre d’assistance
technique agréé, sous peine d'annulation de la garantie.
L'indication "water resistant" (étanche à l'eau) ne s'applique qu'aux montres sortant de nos ateliers.

EINSTELLUNG DER STOPPUHRZEIGER
* Vor Einstellung der Uhrzeit ist zu überprüfen, dass alle Chronographen-
zeiger – Zehntelsekunden (sofern vorhanden), Sekunden, Minuten – in
der Nullstellung (Mittag) sind.
* Wenn die Stoppuhr in Betrieb ist, sind die Knöpfe in der nachstehenden
Reihenfolge zu drücken, um sie nullzusetzen. Anschließend kontrollieren,
dass die Zeiger in die Nullposition zurückkehren (siehe Kapitel „BE-
NUTZUNG DER STOPPUHR“).
* Stoppuhr zählt: A -> B
* Stoppuhr angehalten: B
* Teilzeit angezeigt: B -> A -> B

Wenn ein Stoppuhrzeiger nicht in Nullposition ist, ist er wie folgt nullzu-
setzen.
1) Krone herausziehen:
VD50, VD51, VD52, VD53, VD57 (Kaliber mit Datumsfenster):
in die zweite Position
VD54, VD55, VD56, VD59 (Kaliber ohne Datumsfenster):
in die erste Position
2) Knopf A oder B drücken, um alle Zeiger in die Nullposition zu bringen.
* Der Minutenzeiger der Stoppuhr bewegt sich mit dem Sekundenzeiger.
* Werden die Knöpfe gedrückt gehalten, werden die Zeiger im Schnell-
lauf verstellt.
3) Krone in die Normalposition zurückstellen.

* Vor Einstellung der Uhrzeit ist zu prüfen, dass die Zählung der Stoppuhr
angehalten ist.
VD50, VD51, VD52, VD53, VD57 (Kaliber mit Datumsfenster):
1) Krone in die 1. Position herausziehen:
2) Krone im Uhrzeigersinn verdrehen, bis das Tagesdatum angezeigt
wird.

3) Die Krone in die zweite Position herausziehen, wenn sich der Sekun-
denzeiger in der 12-Uhr-Mittags-Position befindet. Der Sekundenzeiger
hält sofort an. Durch Verdrehen der Krone die Zeiger auf die gewünschte
Uhrzeit einstellen (überprüfen, ob die Option AM/PM ordnungsgemäß
eingestellt ist).
* Wenn sich die Krone in der zweiten Position befindet, darf kein Knopf
gedrückt werden. Andernfalls werden die Zeiger des Chronographen
verstellt.
4) Krone auf der Grundlage des Stundensignals in die Normalposition
zurückstellen.
* Das Datum nicht zwischen 21.00 Uhr und 1.00 Uhr einstellen, weil der
Datumswechsel andernfalls fehlerhaft sein könnte. Wenn die Einstellung
des Datums in diesem Zeitabschnitt notwendig sein sollte, ist zuerst
eine Uhrzeit außerhalb des angegebenen Bereichs, dann das Datum und
danach wieder die richtige Uhrzeit einzustellen.

*Die gemessene Zeit wird von den Stoppuhrzeigern angezeigt, die sich
unabhängig von den zentralen Zeigern (und dem 24-Stunden-Zeiger,
sofern vorhanden) bewegen.
* Die Stoppuhr kann bis zu 60 Minuten zählen.
* Die Stoppuhr zählt in Zehntelsekunden-Schritten (VD50, VD55, VD56,
VD57, VD59).
Standardmessung (z.B. 100-Meter-Lauf)
Die Knöpfe in der folgenden Reihenfolge drücken:
Messung der aufgelaufenen Zeit (z.B. Basketballspiel)
BENUTZUNG DER STOPPUHR
* Durch Drücken von Knopf A kann die Stoppuhr beliebig
oft neu gestartet und angehalten werden.

Die Garantie hat eine Laufzeit von zwei Jahren. Zur Inanspruchnahme der Garantie ist dem
Vertragshändler oder einem autorisierten Service-Partner die International Warranty Card, die vom
Vertragshändler zum Zeitpunkt des Verkaufs ordnungsgemäß ausgefüllt, abgestempelt und datiert
wurde, gemeinsam mit dem Kassenbon vorzulegen. Ausdrücklich von der Garantie ausgeschlossen
sind alle Mängel, die auf Unfälle (Stöße, Quetschungen usw.), unsachgemäße Anwendung, Einsatz
von unvorschriftsmäßigen Batterien, leere im Uhreninneren zurückgelassene Batterien, Änderungen,
sowie von Unbefugten vorgenommene Reparaturen oder ungenehmigte Eingriffe zurückzuführen sind.
Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind ebenfalls: Batterien, Glas, Uhrenarmbänder, Verbleichung von
Plattierung oder Farbe, Folgen durch normaleAbnutzung oder Alterung der Uhr. Die Garantieleistungen
sind von autorisierten Service-Partnern zu erbringen, andernfalls verfällt die Garantie.
Die Angabe „water resistant“ gilt nur für fabrikneue Uhren. Gehäuse wasserdicht gemäß DIN 8310.
