1. Forewords
This manual provides information and procedures to safely operate and
maintain which is suitable for Hydraulic Trash Pump PSPH-3,but not for training
manual .
Operator and employer should be sure never operate the pump without
proper training. Equipment operated improperly can be dangerous, and may
lead to dead.

3. Safety Information
3.1 Safety Symbol on this machine

Read the manual before using or repairing this equipment
3.2. To be ensuring PSPH-3 pump work safety, please perate it properly according
with this manual
● Read this manual and safety symbol on tools&tubes, otherwise, will result in
personal injury or tools damage
● Read all safety information carefully before operate the pump.
● Keep
all unauthorized,
untrained people
and
children out of
the
area while the
pump
is in
operation. Never operate the pump in the risk area like abrupt slope,
the operator should familiar with this terrain.
● Untrained person can only operate the pump with the guide of technicist.
● Wearing the eye protection、safety hat、safety boots and other safety protection
device if possible before operation.
● Never close to Electric Transmission Lines. Get the location of covered line
and condition of deep layer before operation. Operator is not allowed to leave
pump when it’s running, in order to keep pump running stabilized and balanced.
● Never inspect or clean pump before switching power off, if not, may result in
accidental starting and serious injury. Hydraulic pipe coupling between hydraulic
power and pump must be tight and safety.
● Only skillful technicist is be allowed to maintenance and service to avoid any
personal injury or pump damage.

4. Demand of Hydraulic power device
4.1 The flow range for hydraulic power device should be 26-34L/min, the range of
working pressure is 105-140bar. Advised safety pressure set at 145bar.
● the pressure of return hoses ending should be less than 17bar,the range of
hydraulic oil viscosity should be 100-400ssu.
● The temperature of hydraulic oil should be±60°C compared with work area
temperature when pump running.
● Min.25mm filtration is requested for hydraulic power.
● Water can’t be included in hydraulic, furthermore,don’t attempt to transform
emulsified liquid into hydraulic power medium.
4.2. The min. working pressure of hydraulic oil hoses must be over 175bar.
●inner surface of hydraulic tube should be with anti-permeability, outer surface
should be with abrasive resistance.
● Used hydraulic oil choses which marked insulation when worked in the cable
area. Properly training is required for the operator. To keep the degrade of
insulation, keep the oil choses dry and clean.If not,it may lead to serious injury.
● Don’t use hydraulic tube which is not allocated to the pump,improperly or
incorrect operation will result in tube broken and other problem.leaked hydraulic
oil after tube broken could rip into body,lead to personal injury
● Never crossed hydraulic oil hoses, and leave the hoses far away from high
temperature and sharp soild.
● Use different length oil hoses according with below list. Avoid to use the
connected hoses by quick coupling(2 or more shoter hoses connected into
required length)

5. Operation
5.1 Inspect Hydraulic power
●Ensure The flow range for hydraulic power device should be 26-34L/min
● The range of working pressure is 105-140bar.
● Advised safety pressure set at 145bar.
5.2. Connecting Hydraulic oil hoses
5.3. Clean the coupling unit before connect Hydraulic oil hoses.
● Don’t connect or remove oil hoses until switch off the control valve of hydraulic
oil. If not,may lead to damage of coupling unit or high temperature of hydraulic oil.
● Connect return hoses firstly, then inlet hoses.
● Attention:the high temperature which caused by unconnecting hydraulic hoses
exposed to sunshine will lead to pressure increasing in the hydraulic tube,this will
make more difficult connecting, connect free-end of hydraulic oil tube together.
5.4. Pump operation
●Pay attention to all safety information.
● Ensure no dreg in the pump inlet port, clean the dreg according with clean
specification.
●Connect one water pipe sized 3 inch to pump discharge. Shorter water pipe
which meet request,more efficient. Located the water pipe, avoid to cause bend or
cross
●Fasten the rope or chain to the lift ring on top of pump,then immerse the
equipment into pumped liquid slowly. Don’t lift or lay down pump with hydraulic
oil tube to prevent the damage of tube or coupling unit.
●Switch on hydraulic power(No damage for pump with no-load operation )
●Switch off power firstly to stop pump movement. Lifting the pump through the
rope which fastened to lift ring.
●Warm-up hydraulic oil at low engine running speed when the equipment
worked under cold weather. The temperature of hydraulic oil should be ≥10°C
before used normal oil.

6. Maintanance
● Always keep the label clean and legible.
● Always keep all coupling unit clean.
● Storing the pump in the place where is dry,clean and safe.
● Inspect wear intensity of impeller regularly to extend the pump working
duration,Inspection is especially important after pumping the sharp solid with
wear force.
● Ensure no dreg in the pump inlet port,clean it before start the pump.
● Clean the pump after operation as procedure below:
a、remove lifting handle(Reference to content table for spare parts
no.22—loosen parts.no.21 NUT M8 and no.20 washer );
b、Remove the Socket head screw (Reference to content table for spare parts
no.22),after that,remove the whole power device.
c、Clean the solid particle inside pump and 3inch flexible pipe outlet,to prevent
the damage of impeller and pipe caused by consolidation of solid particle for long
time idle pump.
● Be careful of two slits between pump and cover(Reference to content table for
spare parts no.17).Little water overflowed from slit is normal situation when
pumping.
● Re-assemble trash pump

7. Troubleshooting
If pumping performance remain worse,please find below solution for your
consideration

8. Displacement for impeller and seal ring of power output shaft.
8.1 Displacement of impeller
a、remove lifting handle(Reference to content table for spare parts no.22—loosen
parts.no.21 NUT M8 and no.20 washer );
b、Remove the Socket head screw (Reference to content table for spare parts
no.22),after that,remove the whole power device.
c、Remove socket head screw (Reference to content table for spare parts no.13)
and pressing sleeve of impeller (Reference to content table for spare parts no.14)
d、Knocked off output shaft of hydraulic motor lightly from impeller by plastic
rammer or rubber rammer.
e、Displace impeller: re-assemble according with opposite procedure with above.
–Be careful that don’t forget the spling of power output shaft.
8.2. Displacement for seal ring of power output shaft.
a、Remove impeller from pump power output shaft according with the method of
displacing impeller.
b、Remove internal circlip which fastened seal ring from hydraulic motor by
internal circlip plier
c、Connecting oil pump, power device with hydraulic power input pipe,
Connecting output oil pipe with oil pump but not with hydraulic power device.
d、Switch off the key of hydraulic oil output from hydraulic power device,Start
the hydraulic power device.
e、Switch on the key of hydraulic oil output from hydraulic power device
slowly,observe the sealed situation for the hydraulic motor output shaft of trash
pump.(due to sealed outlet of hydraulic motor, the seal ring will be squeezed
out by the pressure of hydraulic motor which caused by pressure of oil in),when
seal ring squeezed out, switch off the key of hydraulic oil output from
hydraulic power device meanwhile close hydraulic power device.
f、displace seal ring.
g、Install internal circlip
h、Replace impeller
i、Replace trash pump
