PUMPENEINSTELLUNGEN
Allgemeines
Diese Einbau und Betriebsanleitung ist Bestandteil des Produktes und ent-
hält grundlegende Informationen, die bei Montage, Betrieb und Wartung
zu beachten sind. Aus diesem Grund muss sie unbedingt vor der Auf-
stellung vom Monteur und dem zuständigen Fachpersonal bzw. Betreiber
gelesen werden. Es sind nicht nur die allgemeinen genanten Sicherheits-
hinweise zu beachten sondern auch die in den anderen Abschnitten ge-
nannten speziellen Sicherheitshinweise. Dieser Anleitung ist eine Kopie der
EG-Konformitätserklärung beigefügt. Bei einer mit uns nicht abgestimmten
Änderung verliert diese ihre Gültigkeit.
Bedienung
Das Display leuchtet, sobald die Pumpe an die Versorgungsspannung an-
geschlossen wird. Durch die One-Touch Bedienung können drei verschie-
dene Leistungskurven ausgewählt werden. Die gewählte Kennlinie wird
durch das farbige Licht in der Taste angezeigt. Grün zeigt die niedrigste,
gelb die mittlere und rot die höchste Stufe an. Durch Auswahl der am
besten geeigneten Kennlinie wird die Pumpe optimal an das vorhandene
System angepasst.

MONTAGE
Einbau
Der Einbau der Zirkulationspumpe erfolgt in der Leitung, in der Regel
direkt vor dem Brauchwasserspeicher und zwar so, dass das Wasser
von der letzten Zapfstelle über die Zirkulationsleitung in den Speicher
zurückgepumpt wird. Druckseitig ( Primärseitig ) der Pumpe muss ein
Rückschlagventil eingebaut werden, welches verhindert, dass die Pumpe
beim Öffnen des Zapfhahnes rückwärts durchströmt wird. An der Saug-
seite (sekundärseitig) der Pumpe wird zur Vereinfachung der Wartung eine
Absperrarmatur eingebaut. Spannungsfreie Montage mit waagerecht lie-
gendem Pumpenmotor durchführen (Richtungspfeil auf dem Pumpenge-
häuse zeigt die Flussrichtung an).
Bei Wärmedämmarbeiten darauf achten, dass der Pumpenmotor und das
Elektronikgehäuse nicht gedämmt werden.
Elektrischer Anschluss
Alle Pumpen der Baureihe Delta TWP 15 sind für den Anschluss an
230 V AC / 50 Hz vorgesehen. Die Pumpen benötigen keinen Motor-
schutzschalter.
Inbetriebnahme
Vor der Inbetriebnahme der Pumpe ist die Anlage gründlich zu Spülen,
damit keine Verunreinigungen oder Fremdkörper in der Anlage verbleiben.
Danach ist die Anlage sorgfältig zu entlüften. Dazu ist die Überwurfmutter
der Pumpe etwas zulösen, damit die Luft aus der Pumpe entweichen
kann. Dann wir die Zuleitung vorsichtig geöffnet, bis an der Pumpe Wasser
austritt. Bitte beachten sie, dass der Elektrische Anschluss Wasser und
Feuchtigkeit geschützt wird, es wird empfohlen hierbei die Pumpe strom-
los zumachen.

Danach wird die Überwurfmutter mit geeignetem Werkzeug angezogen
und die Pumpe kann in Betrieb genommen werden. Hörbare Strömungs-
geräusche weisen darauf hin, dass sich Luft im Rohrleitungssystem be-
findet. Gegebenenfalls muss dieser Vorgang wiederholt werden, in jedem
Fall sollte es vermieden werden das die Pumpe längere Zeit trocken läuft.

Sollte das Personal nicht die erforderlichen Kenntnisse aufweisen, so ist
dieses entsprechend zu schulen oder zu unterweisen.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Gefahren bei Nichtbeachtung der Sicherheitshinweise
Werden die Sicherheitshinweise nicht beachtet, kann dies eine Gefähr-
dung von Personen, Umwelt und Anlage zur Folge haben. Die Nichtbe-
achtung der Sicherheitshinweise führt zum Verlust jeglicher Schadener-
satzansprüche.

Der Betreiber der Anlage ist dafür verantwortlich, dass alle Montage oder
Wartungsarbeiten von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal vorgenommen werden.
Sie müssen sich vorher anhand der Bedienungsanleitung mit dem Produkt
vertraut gemacht haben. Arbeiten an der Pumpe sind grundsätzlich nur
im Stillstand der Anlage zulässig. Vorgeschriebene Vorgehensweisen zum
Stillsetzen sind gegebenenfalls aus der Betriebsanleitung zu entnehmen.
Nach Beendigung der Arbeiten sind alle Schutzeinrichtungen, wie zu Bei-
spiel ein Berührungsschutz wieder vorschriftsmäßig anzubringen.
Eigenmächtiger Umbau und Ersatzteilherstellung
Veränderungen oder Umbau des Produktes sind nur in vorheriger Abspra-
che mit dem Hersteller zulässig. Für Reparaturen sind nur Originalersatz-
teile zulässig. Es darf nur vom Hersteller zugelassenes Zubehör verwendet
werden. Werden andere Teile verwendet, so ist eine Haftung des Herstel-
lers für die daraus entstehenden Folgen ausgeschlossen.

PUMP SETTINGS
General information
This installation and operating manual is part of the product and con-
tains general information to be observed for installation, operation and
maintenance. For this reason, the installer, responsible technical personnel
and owner-operator must always read it before installing the system. Not
only the generally recognised safety instructions must be complied with
but also the special safety information in the other sections. This manual
includes a copy of the EC Declaration of Conformity. It loses its validity if a
change is made which has not been approved by us.
Operation
This display lights up as soon as the pump is connected to the supply
voltage. The one-touch operation can be used to select three different
performance curves. The selected curve is displayed by the coloured light
in the button. Green displays the lowest, yellow the middle, and red the
highest level. Selecting the most suitable curve optimally adapts the pump
totheexistingsystem.Luminous field Description

ASSEMBLY
Installation
The circulating pump is installed in the pipeline and as a rule, direct-
ly upstream of the service water reservoir in such a way that the water
from the last tap is pumped back to the reservoir through the circulating
pipeline. A check valve must be installed on the pump‘s discharge side
(primary side) to prevent pump backflow when the tap is opened. A shut-
off valve is installed on the pump‘s inlet side (secondary side) to make
servicing easier. Assemble the pump with the horizontally positioned pump
motor when the power is shut off (the arrow on the pump housing shows
the direction of flow). Ensure when performing the heat insulation work
that the pump motor and the electronic housing are not insulated.
Electrical connection
All of the Delta TWP 15 series pumps are intended for a 230 V AC /
50 Hz connection. The pumps do not require a motor circuit-breaker.
Startup
The system must be thoroughly flushed before the pump is started up to
prevent contaminants or foreign bodies from remaining in the system. The
system must then be thoroughly vented. The pump‘s union nut must be
slightly loosened for this to allow the air to escape from the pump. The
supply line is then carefully opened until water leaks out on the pump.
Please ensure that the electrical connection is protected against water and
moisture. It is recommended that the pump be deactivated for this.
A suitable tool is then used to tighten the union nut and the pump can
be started up. Audible flow noises indicate that air is present in the pipe
system. This process may need to be repeated and in any case, the pump
must be prevented from running dry for prolonged periods.

Safety information for assembly and maintenance work
The system‘s owner-operator is responsible for ensuring that all assembly
and maintenance work is solely performed by qualified technicians.
They must first read the operating manual to familiarise themselves with
the product. Work on the pump is generally only permitted when the sys-
tem is shut down. The specified procedure for shutting down the system
can be found in the operating manual.
All of the protective devices, such as contact protection, must be properly
reinstalled upon completion of the work.
Unauthorised conversions and spare parts production
Changes or conversions of the product are only permitted with the prior
consent of the manufacturer. Solely original parts are permitted for repairs.
Solely those accessories approved by the manufacturer may be used.The
use of other components release the manufacturer from liability for any
resulting consequences.
