Operation Instruction Manual
FOUR GLASS
REFRIGERATED SHOWCASE

*Please read this manual firstly before operating machine
*Please take care of this manual for ready use at any time
1

A. Applications and Features
1. This refrigerated cabinet is suitable for cold storage, short-term display of
cakes, foodstuff and beverage and may be utilized in shops, hotels, restaurants
or any suitable outlet or home.
2. We have equipped the cabinet with a suitable, fully sealed hermetic
compressor and compatible refrigeration system that has been engineered to
provide a uniform temperature throughout, by the use of an evaporator fan.
3. All glass panels including the door are double-glazed and the outer panel has
been coated with a heat-reflecting film that assists in maintaining temperature
and efficient operation.
4. The four glass panels provide an excellent product display.
5. Overall, the cabinet has been designed to have an appealing look and is ideal
for use as an impulse merchandiser.
B. Construction and Part Names

D. Transportation and Placement
1. Care required during transportation or movement of the unit
•Once unplugged from the power source, the unit should not be re-started for at
least 10 minutes
•To prevent possible compressor damage, the cabinet should not be tilted at an
angle greater than 45 degrees
•If the cabinet has been tilted greater than 45 degrees, stand upright for at least 1
hour before re-starting
•Take good care of the glass panels to prevent breakage
2. Unpacking
•Carefully remove packaging and place the cabinet on a firm and level surface
3. Keep away from heat
•Keep the unit out of the direct sun or other heat source to ensure correct
temperatures are achieved
4. Keep away from moisture
•The unit should never be placed where rain or water could impinge on it. Very
high humidity may also affect the performance
5. Good ventilation
•The space between the cabinet and any wall should be at least 10 cm. Do not
place stickers or the like over any part of the lower grilles, otherwise the unit will
not achieve the correct temperature. Similarly, take care when deciding a position
for the cabinet that other refrigeration equipment or similar is not blowing hot air
at the unit.
E. Safety
•The cabinet should ideally be connected to a separate electrical, 10 amp circuit
with its own circuit breaker or fuse
•Do not use “double adapters” or similar devices which allow numbers of electrical
appliances to be operated from on electrical outlet
•Ensure that no damage has been done to the electrical power lead or plug during
transportation
•Do not use water sprays or aerosol can sprays to clean the cabinet
•Should the cabinet be disconnected from its power source, do not attempt to re-
start for at least 10 minutes
•Do not place objects on top of the cabinet
3

F. Setting and adjustment of temperature
•Open the access cover on the bottom front of the cabinet
•The thermostat is set by the factory at the mid-range point. Turning the knob
clockwise will cause the cabinet to become colder, and vice-versa. Generally,
there is no need to adjust the cabinet temperature from its factory setting
•Please note the cabinet has a defrost timer preset for several times per day to
prevent ice build-up in the evaporator coil
G. General operation
1. Condensate Drain Tray
This tray collects the condensed water vapor from the humidity that ingresses
the cabinet’s interior by opening the cabinet door. Therefore, the higher the
humidity in which the cabinet is placed, the more frequent the tray will need
emptying. Similarly, the more frequently the door is opened, the greater the
build up of condensate
2. Door
Ensure the door is properly closed at all times. If not, the evaporator coil will
build up with ice and your cabinet will not function correctly. Try to educate
your customer to make a choice before opening the door, rather than holding
the door open whilst making a choice. This will also assist in the cabinet
maintaining the correct temperature
3. Air Circulation
Internally - when loading your cabinet, allow sufficient room for the air to
circulate around the cabinet and your product. The more compacted the
product, the greater the time for your load to cool. Do not impede air flow to
either the air discharge or air inlet grilles
Externally – allow 10 cm gap between the cabinet and any wall. Do not build
the cabinet into a confined space without first considering sufficient air
circulation for the condenser
H. Maintenance and Cleaning
1. Replacement of the internal light globe
•Disconnect from power source.
•Grip the colored light base tightly and twist in a clockwise direction
•Remove and replace the globe
•Re-secure the light housing
4

2. Cleaning
•For safety, cleaning of the cabinet must be carried out after disconnection
from the power source
I.WARNING:
– Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear
of obstruction.
– Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process,
other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
– Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
– Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments, unless they are
of the type recommended by the manufacturer.
–If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service
agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
–The appliance must be positioned that the plug is accessible.
