Assembly
1. Loosenthe containerclampsand remove motorcasing.Takeallpartsoutof the
collectioncontainer.
2. Replacethemotorcasing and locktheclamps.
3. Insertthesuctionhoseend intotheupper opening ofthecollectioncontainerand lock
byturninglightlytotheright. (Pleaseseepicture2)
4. Attachtheextensiontubes(numberasrequired)and fitasuitablesuction nozzle.

5. Inserttheopenend ofthedischargehose(theend ofthehosewithoutonewayflapper
Pleaseseepicture3)intothelower dischargeopening ofthe collectioncontainer.
(Pleasesee picture4)Thehoseend withonewayflappershouldbeaway fromthe
vacuumatfarthestpoint. (Pleasesee picture7)
Setup
1. Setup thevacuumnearthepond.Theminimumclearancetotheedgeof thepond is2
m(6.5ft)forsafetyreasons.Thedeviceshouldbesetup asclosetowaterlevelas
possible.Makesurethe deviceisstandingfirmly.
2. Lay thedischargehoseinsuchamannerthatthesludgewaterisconductedinto
shrubberyorgrassyarea during draining.Lay the dischargehoseflaton theground (if
possiblewithaslightinclinedownward).
3. Fastenthesludgecollectionbagontheendof thedischargehoseasneeded(for
examplewhensuctioninghairalgae)(Pleasesee picture8),sothatthecleanedwater,
if necessary,canbereturnedtothepond.
4. Connectthedevicetothemainspower.

1. Insertoneof thesupplied nozzles(forparticlesize2,5,10mm).(forparticlesize
1/10 ,.1/5 ,3/8 )
2. Turnonthedeviceusing themainswitchatthemotorcasing.
3. Vacuumup the sludgewithslowandevenmovements.Keepthevacuumhosebelow
waistlevelforbestperformance.Eric,wemightneed apictureforthis.
Whenthecollectioncontainerhasreacheditsmaximumliquidlevel, thevacuumwill
shutoffautomaticallyfor25 seconds. Theone wayflapperattheendof thedischarge
hose(Pleasesee picture2338)will openand thesludgerunsoutof thecollection
container.After25 secondsthevacuumwill turnonautomaticallyagainand the
cleaningof thepond canbecontinued.
4. Afteruseturnoff thevacuumatthemainswitch.
Maintenanceand repair
Pleaseobservethesafetyinstructions.
Forthemostpart,thevacuumismaintenance-free.Afteruse,merelyrinseoutthecollection
containerand thesludgecollectionbagand clean thefoamfilter.
1. SwitchofftheVacuumCleanerusing themainswitchand unplug thepowerplug.
2. Removeall hosesand themotorcasing.
3. Rinsethecollectioncontainerwiththegardenhoseuntil thereisnomoreresidueinit.
4. Pullthefoamfilteroffand washitoutwithgarden hosewater.The sameappliesfor
thesludgecollectionbag.
Attention!Neverusethevacuumwithoutthefoamfilter!
5. Alwayscheck thefloatforeaseof movement.

Thisdevicehasbeendevelopedwithspecial considerationoftechnicalsafetystandards.
Nevertheless,thefollowinginstructionsmustbecompliedwithtousethedevicesafely:

lThedevicemay onlybeusedforsuctioning depositsonthepondfloor.Thedevicemay
onlybeimplementedforprivateuse-.
lNevervacuumup flammableortoxicliquidslikegasoline,copymachinetonerorother
volatilesubstances.
lNevervacuumup acids.
lNeveruseinthepresenceofexplosive liquidsorfumes.The deviceisnotexplosion
protected.
lNevervacuumup asbestosorasbestosdust.
lNevervacuumup hotorsmouldering ashes,smouldering cigarettebuttsorsimilar
objects.
