Matrix T5 User manual

Note: Please make sure to program the treadmill to the correct model. If not you may have an error message on
the display or no button function.
Installation Steps
1. Remove the console back cover 2. Locate the 10 pin programmer connector on the board
3. Plug the 10 pin cable from the programmer 4. If using the 9 volt power supply plug it into the programmer
into the 10 pin connector on the board

5. Now press the RED button on the programmer 6. Once you press the RED Button the GREEN
and you will see a GREEN LED light LED will blink. This shows that the programmer
is now programming the console board. When complete the
console will ”beep” and reset back to the main start display.
Testing the system:
To enter Manager Mode hold down the Rolling & Manual Keys for 3 seconds.
To enter ENG Mode hold down the Rolling & Manual Keys for 10 seconds.
Once in ENG MODE enter FIRM SETUP by using the UP Arrow to move to FIRM SETUP then press ENTER.
Key Function
ENTER: Press to Enter the Mode
: Move the values up or down
START: For any PWM or AUTO Cal setting Hold for 3 seconds and belt will start to move
START: Saves the entered value at any setting
1. Enter the Firm Setup Mode 2. Check the Elevation Direction
T5x should be YES [T5 or T4 should be NO]
3. Check the Elevation MIN Setting 4. Check the Elevation MAX Setting
If changing the value the console will If changing the value the console will
add 5 to the saved value [30 =35] subtract 5 to the saved value [239 = 234]

T5x Setting should be set at 44 T5 or T4 Setting should be set at 2
6. Move to the SPEED Setting 7. Move to the MACHINE Setting
Setting should be MILE Make sure it is set for the correct Model
8. Move to the AUTO CAL Setting 9. Once the calibration process is finished
Hold down the START KEY for 3 seconds the display will show CAL PASSED or
and the belt will start the calibration process CAL FAIL.

Manager Mode Speed Settings:
Note: If you need to change the speed setting in the manager Mode use these steps
To enter Manager Mode hold down the Rolling & Manual Keys for 3 seconds.

: Move the values up or down
START: Saves the entered value at any setting

Programming is completed.
Run the treadmill for 5-10 minutes to make sure there are no errors.
Please make sure to send back the programmer, all programmer cables and power supplies. Failure to do so will
result in billing for missing parts.
