In orderto dothisselect
thetype
ofMEATbeingcookedfromtheselection
choicesandthetaste
lever
- forinstanceBEEF/RARE.Onceselectedtheunit
will show
the
select
temperatureof 140F.
ByusingtheMIN v andtheHRnbuttonsonthefaceof
theunit
you
canmovetheselectedtemperature
upanddowntoyour
desired
remperature.
Once
youhaveselectedorprogrammedyourMEAT and
TEMPERATLIRE
(TASTE)
theunit
is
readyforcooking.Insertthe
probe
intothethickest
part
ofthemeatbeingcarefulto avoidany
pocket
offatandmakesurethatthe
probe
isnot
touchingbone.
The
unitwill showthetemperatureofthe
food
on
theface
of thereceiver
under
PROBETEMPERATURE.
The
Alert
Process
The
unitwillalert
you
when
the
foodis
tendegrees
from
thesettemperature
(For
instanceifthe unit
issetfor 140Ftheunitwill alertat 130F).The
unit
will soundtwobeepsand
a
voice
will say
"Yourfoodisalmost
ready''.The
unitwillrepeat
thisalertafterfoursecondsofsilence
- twobeepsand
"Your
food
isalmostready".
Whenthefoodhasreached
theselectedtemperature
yourunitwill soundthree
beepsandthevoicewill say"Yourfoodisready".These
alertswillbe
repeatedatfoursecondintervalsforonefullminute
whilethealerticonwill
flash
Tostopthe
beepsandalerts
press
theSTOPbutton
on
thefaceoftheunit.
Ifthe signalislost

onthedisplayoftheunitthe
unit
haslost
thesignalfrom
thebasetransmitter.Youcanreconnect
the
