This item is ideal for labeling prescriptions, or having
medication instructions audibly labeled, Use it to identify food items,
canned goods, clothing, books, cd's and many other items to
numerous to mention.
When an item needs to be identified, or short instructions heard,
simply insert the card and hear what you have been missing - No
need for guessing any more. The VOXCOM II was developed with
your needs in mind - It is convenient and easy to use!
Note: There are two different units available—one designed for use
with 50 cards and another for use with 100 cards.
This unit is powered by a 9 volt battery.
The unit features a microphone and a speaker as well as two buttons
on the side of the unit. You should be holding the Voxcom in a
position where the speaker/microphone vents are facing you and the
2 buttons are located on the left side of the unit.
Now that you are familiar with the design of the Voxcom you are
Ready to operate.
Operating instructions:
Each card is bar coded and numbered - However there is no pre-
recorded message on the cards, which indicates the card number.
To Record: Hold the Voxcom approximately 9-12 inches away from
your mouth simply press the bottom record button on the Voxcom -
while holding the button insert one of the cards into the slot on top
of the unit-press card into the Voxcom until you hear or feel a click-
now you can begin to record your message. You have approximately
10 second of recording time - per card. When you have completed
recording release the card.
To Playback: Simply press the card in the slot until you hear a click
(Warning DO NOT HOLD RECORD BUTTON AT THIS TIME) and your
message will be played back.
You can record over the card many times so the cards can be reused
time and time again.
We have supplied you with several choices for adhering card to
product for identification; Rubber bands, Adhesive backed Velcro,
Adhesive backed magnets and plastic pull ties.
To Make Louder:
Adjust volume control dial by turning dial downwards to increase
volume and upward to decrease volume.
To Change Battery:
Slide down battery cover and remove old battery and replace with
new one. Slide back cover until it clicks into place.
