ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
• Attach front castors (13) to the front frame using the bolts (21), nuts (22) and
washers (23, 24).
• Attach rear castors (12) to rear frame using washers (2) and cotter pins (11).
• Attach centre frame to the front frame using bolts (9), washers (7,8) and nuts (6).
• Install main post onto the rear frame using bolts (9), washers (7,8) and nuts (6).
• Insert centre frame into main post. Align the holes of the centre frame and main
post, and thread into bolt (10).
• Install mounting plate into the collar on top of the main post and secure with the L
pin (5).
• Attach four mounting arms to the mounting plate using bolts (1), washers (2,3),
and nuts (4). Note that 2 washers are used for each bolt.
• Slide the handle through the hole at the rear of the mounting plate.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• BEFORE APPLYING THE LOAD TO THE STAND, lock the mounting plate of the
head assembly to the stand's main post using the pin.
• Align tubes on mounting arms with appropriate holes in rear of engine block. Insert
bolts through arm/tube assembly and secure to engine block. (End users must use
the appropriate bolts to secure the engine to the mounting arms. These bolts are
not included with the stand.)
• Centre the load and tighten bolts securing engine to mounting arms. Tighten bolts
securing mounting arms to mounting plate. Carefully remove lifting device.

1-YEAR REPAIR WARRANTY
OWNER'S /OPERATOR’S RESPONSIBILITY MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION
This MAXIMUM product carries a one (1) year LIMITED warranty against defects in
workmanship and materials. This product is not guaranteed against wear or breakage
due to misuse and/or abuse.
The following are excluded from this 1-Year Repair Warranty:
a) Missing or damaged parts or components that are a result of abuse or misuse;
b) Any wear and tear to non-critical parts or accessories that do not affect the core
function of the product.

• Inspect the engine stand before each use. Check for cracks in the stand and for
cracked welds. Check for loose, missing or damaged parts. If the stand is damaged in
any way it should be removed from service immediately.
• Check for unauthorized modification of the product. Modifications to this product
and/or use of unapproved attachments are prohibited due to the potential hazards
that are associated with improper use.

Failure to comply with instructions could result in
personal injury and/or property damage!
NOTE:
Before using, read and understand all warnings and operating
instructions.
• Do not exceed rated capacity of 1000 lb (454 kg).
• Use only on a hard, level surface.
• Before applying load, lock the mounting plate to the main post
with locking pin.
• Make sure load is centred and secured to mounting arms.
Off-centre placement may cause the load and handle to rotate in
either direction when rotational locking devices are released.
• Release rotational locking devices slowly and carefully.
• Do not make any alterations to the engine crane.
• Only use attachments/adaptors supplied by the manufacturer.
• Failure to heed to these warnings may result in loss of load and
damage to the stand, as well as personal injury or property
damage.
It is the operator's responsibility to read and understand all WARNINGS,
operating instructions, and maintenance instructions contained on the product
label and instruction manual prior to operating this unit.
It is also the owner's and/or operator’s responsibility to provide maintenance,
maintain all decals or warning labels and maintain the unit in good working
order.
If the owner and/or operator is not fluent in English or French, the product
warnings and instructions should be read to and discussed with the operator in
the operator’s native language by the purchaser/owner or a designee, making
sure that the operator comprehends its contents.

INSTRUCTIONS D'ASSEMBLAGE
• Fixez les roulettes avant (13) sur le cadre avant avec des boulons (21), des écrous
(22) et des rondelles (23,24).
• Attachez les roulettes arrières (12) sur la goupille fendue (11) sur le cadre arrière à
l'aide de rondelles (2).
• Fixez le cadre central au cadre avant avec des boulons (9), des rondelles (7,8) des
et écrous (6).
• Installez le montant principal sur le cadre arrière et fixez-le avec des boulons (9),
des rondelles (7,8) et des écrous (6).
• Insérez le cadre central sur la tige principale. Alignez les trous du cadre central et
de la tige principale et vissez avec des boulons (10).
• Installez la plaque de montage dans le collier situé au haut du montant principal et
fixez-la avec la goupille (5) de verrouillage.
• Fixez le bras de montage à la plaque de montage avec des boulons (1), des
rondelles (2,3) et des écrous (4). Vous devez utiliser deux roundelles pour chaque
boulon.
• Gilissez le manche dans le trou situé derrière la plaque de montage.
INSTRUCTIONS D'UTILISATION
• AVANT D'APPLIQUER LA CHARGE, verrouillez la plaque de montage au montant
principal à l'aide de la goupille de verrouillage. Voir l'illustration.
• Alignez les tubes des bras de montage sur les trous correspondants à l'arrière du
bloc moteur. Insérez des boulons dans l'ensemble bras-tube et vissez-les sur le
bloc moteur. (Vous devez utiliser les boulons appropriés pour fixer le moteur aux
bras de montage. Ces boulons ne sont pas fournis avec le support pour moteur.)
• Centrez la charge et serrez les boulons de fixation du moteur au bras de montage.
Serrez les boulons de fixation attachant les bras de montage à la plaque de
montage. Déplacez délicatement le dispositif de levage.

fissures dans le support et les soudures. Vérifiez si les pièces sont desserrées,
manquantes ou endommagées. Si le support est endommagé de quelque façon que
ce soit, il doit être mis hors service immédiatement.
• Vérifiez que l'article n'a pas subi de modifications non autorisées. Les modifications
à cet article ainsi que l'utilisation d'accessoires non approuvés sont interdits du fait
de dangers potentiels associés à une utilisation inappropriée.

• Ne dépassez pas la capacité nominale de 1000 lb (454 kg).
• Utilisez seulement le support sur une surface dure, à niveau.
• Avant d'appliquer la charge, verrouillez la plaque de montage au
mât principal en utilisant la goupille de verrouillage.
• Assurez-vous que la charge est centrée et bien fixée aux bras de
montage. Une charge décentrée risque de faire tourner la charge
et la poignée dans une direction ou l'autre lors du dégagement
des dispositifs de verrouillage de la rotation.
• Veillez à dégager lentement et avec précaution les dispositifs de
verrouillage de la rotation.
• Ne modifiez pas le support.
• Utilisez uniquement les accessoires/adaptateurs fournis par le
fabricant.
• Le manque d'observation des avertissements risque d'entraîner la
chute de la charge et par conséquent des dommages matériels et
corporels.
Le propriétaire et l'utilisateur ont la responsabilité de lire et d'assimiler les

sur les étiquettes de l'article et dans le présent guide d'utilisation avant de se
servir du cric.
