This does not affect your statutory rights. How ever be aware that the
warranty will become null and void if the product is found to have
been deliberately damaged, misused and/or disassembled.

General information & Safety Instructions
This Wireless Speaker is powered by 6 x ‘C’ batteries.
Do not dispose of batteries in your household waste.
Please contact your local authority for details on safe disposal.
• Never throw batteries into a re or expose to

• If batteries are swallowed, please seek

• Always ensure correct +/- battery polarity when
• installing batteries.
• Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.

Please note:
If the product is to be used with the mains adaptor outdoors, the mains
adaptor must be plugged into the mains supply indoors, not outdoors
or in damp or wet conditions.

Instructions
Pairing the speaker
1. Connect the mains power using the adaptor supplied or
insert 6 x C batteries (not included).
2. Press the power button for 3 seconds to turn the speaker
1. on, the Blue LED light will ash slowly.
3. Enable your Bluetooth device such as cell phones, tablets
2. or other Bluetooth media, and make sure it is in searching
2. mode.
4. The Bluetooth speaker will automatically search and pair
2. your Bluetooth device.
5. If no auto pairing connection is made, press and hold the 4.
2. ‘Pair’ button for 5 seconds until the blue LED ash quickly.
6. Select “MAXTEK AUDIO” in the list shown in the Bluetooth
device.
7. Enter “0000” if password is required.
8. When Bluetooth connection is made, the blue LED will
2. become solid.

Battery Installation
1. Turn the speaker over; on the bottom of the speaker you will
1. see the battery door.
2. Open the battery door by pinching the two tabs and pulling
1. towards you.
3. Install 6 (six) C size batteries following the battery markings
1. (+/-) inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery door until the door snaps shut.

AUX Mode
1. To use the auxiliary line in, rst connect the AUX cable to the
1. speaker and device you want to play audio from.
2. Press the ‘ON/OFF’ to change the speaker from bluetooth mode
2. (indicated by a blue LED), to AUX mode (indicated by a green LED).
3. Enjoy your music.

Trouble Shooting
NO SOUND
• The speaker’s battery charge is too low. Replace with new/recharged
- batteries.
• Ensure the speaker is ON.
• Ensure Bluetooth device is ON.
• The volume of speaker is too low; adjust the volume to an
• appropriate level.
• Unable to connect with Bluetooth device, restart the pairing process.
• The speaker may be too far away from the Bluetooth device,
• move closer to it.
WARNING: Changes or modications to this unit not expressly
approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the
user’s authority to operate the equipment.
Note: Clean the speaker with a soft, lint free, dry cloth. Never use detergents or
abrasive cleaners to clean.
