Outdoor Security Light Installation Instructions
1. Please read all warnings and instructions before installation.
2. The fixture must be wired in accordance with the National Electric Code and applicable local codes or ordinances.
3. To insure personal safety, proper grounding is required.
WARNING:
1. To avoid fire, shock, or death, disconnect power at circuit breaker or fuse before the installation.
2. If you are unsure about the installation or maintenance of the Security Lights, please consult a qualified electrician.

INSTALLATION LOCATION:
This fixture must only be wall-mounted. Be certain that the receiving junction box is well secured and can support the
weight of the lamp.

1. This fixture should not be used in areas with limited ventilation or high ambient temperature exceeding 45°C.
2. Fixture cannot be used with a dimmer switch, motion sensor and other electronic switching devices.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION:
CAUTION: Read WARNING and SAFETY Notes on other side before beginning installation.
1. Make sure POWER is turned OFF at the circuit breaker box or remove fuse.
2. Make certain that the wires from the fixture go through the gasket and connect them to the wires in the junction
box using the wire nuts provided (Figure 1).
a. Connect the white wire from the fixture to the NEUTRAL wire in the box (typically white).
b. Connect the black wire from the fixture to the HOT wire in the box (typically black).
3. Align the base over the junction box and gasket. Then, secure it using the mounting screws provided. Make sure
the base is tight and secure against the wall (Figure 2).
4. Align the fixture over the base. Then, secure it using the large mounting screw provided. The screw is mounted
through the middle of the base as seen in Figure 3. Make sure the fixture is tight and secure against the base.
5. Turn power ON at circuit breaker (or replace fuse) and confirm that the fixture is functioning properly (See
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION below).
6. Once functionality is confirmed, consider use of waterproof glue or silicone caulk to seal the base and the lamp
to ensure that the fixture is completely waterproof (Figure 4). If water enters the junction box, it may damage the
fixture and/or building/residence.
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION:
The light control module can detect motion at a 150° angle.

TIME
SENS Knob: the knob for adjusting sensitivity, namely the detection distance, 25ft at the
maximum and within 13ft at the minimum when the fixture is mounted at 8ft height. This setting should
be adjusted based on the installation location and preference.
TIME Knob: the knob for adjusting the time of keeping the light on, 10 minutes at the maximum and
2s at the minimum.
LUX
LUX Knob: the knob for adjusting the necessary ambient light to trigger the luminaire, 300LUX
at the maximum and within 10LUX at the minimum. When set towards the sun the light will trigger in
day or night. When set to the moon the light will only trigger at night. This setting should be adjusted
based on the installation location and the amount of light the area receives.
After powering up, the luminaire is initialized within 15 seconds. At this time, the luminaire is on and cannot be
controlled. After the luminaire is initialized, it switches off automatically and enters the normal working state, and then it
can be used.
