Congratulations on the purchase of
your new Island Spa.
With proper care, your spa will provide years of enjoy ent and therapy for
your fa ily and friends. Please take so e ti e to read and understand all of
the instructions provided before you install your Island Spa. This owner’s
anual is eant as a supple ent to the training you should receive fro your
dealer when you purchase and start up your spa for the first ti e.
Please re e ber, your spa is a powerful piece of electrical equip ent. It is
extre ely i portant that you have it properly installed to insure safe use.
This anual explains safety precautions, installation instructions, and
operating and aintenance procedures. If you have any questions regarding
this anual, please call your Island Spas dealer who will be happy to assist
you.
For your future reference and convenience, please record the Serial and
Model Nu bers along with the Installation Date in the spaces provided
below. Also, you should store this anual where you can easily find it when
you need it. The Serial and Model Nu bers are ounted on the base of the
equip ent enclosure area, as shown below.

READ ALL WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS PRIOR TO USING YOUR SPA
WARNING: PEOPLE USING MEDICATION AND/OR HAVING AN ADVERSE
MEDICAL HISTORY SHOULD CONSULT A PHYSICIAN BEFORE USING A SPA OR
HOT TUB.
WARNING: PEOPLE WITH INFECTIOUS DISEASES SHOULD NOT USE A SPA OR
HOT TUB.
WARNING: TO AVOID INJURY EXERCISE CARE WHEN ENTERING OR EXITING
THE SPA OR HOT TUB.
WARNING: DO NOT USE DRUGS OR ALCOHOL BEFORE OR DURING THE USE OF

TELEPHONE, RADIO AND TELEVISION, EXCEPT THOSE ITEMS THAT ARE
SUPPLIED WITHIN THE SPA OR HOT TUB) WITHIN 5 FEET (1.5M) OF THIS SPA OR
HOT TUB.
WARNING: DO NOT REMOVE THE FRONT PANEL OF THE SPA OR HOT TUB
(UNLESS INSTRUCTED BY YOUR DEALER). THERE IS A DANGER OF
ELECTROCUTION.

CHEMICAL MANUFACTURER’S INSTRUCTION.

I PORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When installing and using this spa, always adhere to basic safety precautions, including the
following:

Have at least one fa ily e ber learn CPR (cardiopul onary resuscitation). It could save a life!
WARNING! To reduce the risk of injury you should always review these instructions with first
ti e and occasional users of your spa. Re e ber, they ay not be aware of the possible risk
associated with the spa water te perature.
RISK OF ACCIDENTAL DROWNING! Extre e caution ust be exercised, to prevent
unauthorized access by children. To avoid accidents, insure that children cannot use this spa
unless an adult acco panies the at all ti e.
ALCOHOL, DRUGS, AND SPAS: The use of alcohol, drugs, or edication before or during
spa use ay lead to unconsciousness with the possibility of drowning. Persons using edication
should consult a physician before using a spa, since so e edication ay induce drowsiness
while other edication ay affect heart rate, blood pressure, and circulation.
RISK OF HAIR OR BODY ENTRAP ENT: The suction fittings in this spa are sized to
atch the specific water flow created by the pu ps. Should the need arise to replace the suctions
fittings of the pu ps, be sure that then flow rates are co patible.
Never operate your spa if the suctions fittings are broken or missing. Never replace a
suction fitting with one rated less than the flow rate marked on the original fitting.
HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, OBESITY, AND HEART CONDITION: Persons suffering
fro obesity or with a edical history of heart disease, low or high blood pressure, circulatory
syste proble s, or diabetes should consult a physician before using a spa.
RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK: Do not per it any electrical appliance, such as a light,
telephone, radio, or television, within 5 feet (1.5 M) of a spa. Your spa ust be wired by a
licensed electrician. I proper wiring can cause injury and/or death.
