Forgoodcleaninganddryingresults,hotwater
isnecessary.Thewatershouldbe120o-14QoF.If,
for anyreason,thetemperatureofthewater
beingdeliveredbythewaterheaterisbelow
120°F,selectthe TempBoostSensoroptionto
haveyourdishwasherheatthewater.
Tocheckwatertemperature,turn onthe hot
waterfaucetnearestthedishwasher.Let water
runinto aglassinthe sinkuntil it isashotas
possible,thencheckwithacandyor meat
thermometer.If thetemperatureatthe faucetis
below120°F(49°C),haveaqualifiedperson
raisethe waterheaterthermostatsetting.

Thinitems(cookiesheets,pizzapans,etc.)may
beplacedbehindthe foldingshelf.Withthe
shelfdown,twolevelsofglassesandcupscanbe
loaded.For bestwashability,donotplaceany
itemsin the shorttineswhentheshelfisbeing
used.
PutflatwareintheremovablesilveIWarebasket,
mixingknives,forksandspoons.Toprevent
themfromnestingtogether,placesomehandles
upandsomedown.However,sh~ orpointed
itemsshouldbeloadedwith thehandlesup.
ThesilveIWarebasketmayberemovedforease
ofloadingorunloading.
Usethecoveredsectionfor small,lightweight

If the cloudyfilm is notremovedaftersoaking
invinegar(previousprocedure),thenthe
conditionisetching.Thispermlmentfilm
occursinunusualconditionsunderwhichthe
surfaceof theglassispitted oreroded.It is
permanent.
In thebe~nningstages,etchingmaybe
identifiedbya"rainbow"look shadesofblue,

Lastly,if the dishwasheris runorilyeverycouple
ofdays,anodormaydevelop.UsetheRinse&
Hold featuredailyto removeanyfood soilthat
maycauseanodor.
Toremoveanodor,tryoneof thefollowing:
1.Placebakingsodain bothsidesof the
detergentdispenser.Selecttight/China and
letthewatercirculatefor about10mmutes.
Stopthe dishwasherbyurilatchingthedoor
andletstandovernightThen,restartthe
dishwasherbylatchingthe doorandlet it
completethecycle.
2. Selectthetight/China cycleandletthe
dishwasherfill with watei Thenopenthe
doorandpouronecupofchlorinebleachinto
the bottomo(the dishwasher.Latchthe door
andletthe dishwashercompletethecycle.
Cleanthe controlpanelandfrontpanelwith a

thecoloredpanels.
F. ReinstalJthe metaltrim whichwasremoved

endoftile trim stripbehindthe control
panel.Aligntheholesandreplacethethree
screws.

(tWoabOvethe panelandtWobelow).With
theseremoved,thepanelmayberemovedto

panels..Oncethedesiredpanelisfacingout,
replace1hetrim, andreinstallthepanelto
