SELECTING VENTILATIONDIRECTION
After connecting power supply cord,you must select proper ventilation
direction. If your microwave oven has been installed for room venting, press

Youcanset and usethe Timerfunction independently, or while a cooking
programis in progress.The Timer will be displayed on thelower lineof

• If you do not enter atime for 10 seconds after step 1,the setting
is cleared with a beep.
• If cooking completes while you aresetting the Timer, all settings
are cleared. Restart from step 1.
• If no key istouched for 5 seconds after the last key entry at step 2
above, thetimer automatically starts.
TIMED COOKING AND POWER LEVEL
This basicmicrowave cooking method allows you to cook food for a
desired time.The oven can be programmed up to 99 minutes 99 seconds
of cooking. In addition to the P100(maximum) power level, you can select
different microwave powerfrom 10levels,P0toPg0(0-90% of total power
level).
Multi-stageCooking:
You can programthe oven for up to3 stagesofcooking in sequence. Each
stagecanbe programmed with adifferenttimesettingand power level.To
program2-stage or 3-stagecooking, go through steps 1-2 on page 15.
Steps 1-2 should be followed for each stage ofcookingthat is
programmed. After thetimeand power levels have beenenteredfor all
stages,press START. Theoven will cook in accordancewith thetimeand
power sequencesthat wereentered.

You candelaythetime thatyou would likethecooking to start.
Cooking can bedelayed upto 99 minutes and 99 seconds,To delay

Auto Defrostallowsyou toeasily defrostfood two ways. Power levels and
times are automatically determined when the food weight isentered.

Defrosting Techniques:
•Remove freezer paper, plasticwrapor foil wrap. Place food in a
microwave-safe dish.
•To prevent thin parts and edges frombecoming too warm.and cooking
beforecenter offood isdefrosted,shieldwith small pieces of aluminum
foil,
• Becausesomefoods will still be icyinthecenter,it isnecessaryto have
standing time after defrostingthefood in the oven. Foodshould be
takenout ofthe oven tocomplete defrosting.A longer standingtime
might be requiredfor denserfoods such as roasts.
•Timed Defrosting: Use power levelP30 (Medium Low). Formost frozen
foods,allow approximately5minutes per pound. To speed up the
defrosting of densefoods over 1Ib, you maystart on P100for 2
minutes. Then reduceto the power level P30 and enter remaining time,
