REDlighton(orashing)andpumpwillnotstart:
1. Startpressuresettohigh.Removeroundcoveroncontrolandadjuststartpressuredial10–15
psilessthanmaximumboostedpressureasshownonpressuregauge,andpushRESET.This
unitisfactorysetat50psi.
2. Watercannotowthroughpumptobuildpressure.Makesureallvalvesareopenandthecheck
valveisinthecorrectorientation.
3. Ifinstalledinasuctionliftapplication,primecouldbelost.Re-primeandcheckforleaksonsuction
side.PushtheRESETbutton,thepumpwillrunfor5seconds,watchpressuregaugetomakesure
thatthepressureisincreasing.
4. Makesureallltersareinstalledafterthepump,Changetheltercartridgesregularly.
5. Thiscanoccurifthewatersupplyhasbeeninterrupted.Thepumpwillautomaticallytryarestart
15minutesafterafailure.Thiswilloccurautomatically4times,ashingonetimeforeveryfailed
restart,andthenasolidREDlightwillbeon.
BLUElightonandpumpwillnotstop:
1. Pumpstopsonaowratelessthan½GPM.Thisisnormalifowishigher.
2. Possibleleaksinsystemssuchas;runningtoilets,humidiers,watersofteners,icemakers…
3. Plasticmagneticpiston(insidebrasscontrol)couldbejammedbyexcessivethreadsealantor
debris.Loosenunionnutandinspectpiston.Itshouldmovefreelyandspringoutwards(see
diagrampage4ofinstructionmanual).
4. Tocheckforwaterleakageinthehouse,closethevalveafterpump.Ifpumpstops,thenwateris
leakingsomewhereafterthisvalve.Fixleaksandopenvalvesagain.
5. Ifthepumphasabypassvalveinstalled,makesureitisclosedfornormaloperation(see
diagrampage5ofinstructionmanual).
