Quick Start Guide
(1) Install the battery;
(2) Put the new battery in correctly before the first use, and then start the body temperature check;
(3) When used, the front end of the thermometer is aligned to the forehead, with a distance of 5-
10cm. Make sure there is no hair, sweat, cosmetics or hat worn. And then press the measuring switch
to start the body temperature check;
(4) When the change of ambient temperature affects the forehead temperature or when the forehead
perspires, please aim at the earlobe for measurement. And make sure there is no hair, sweat,
cosmetics or hat worn.
Note: It’s normal that the measured temperature value maybe different, varying from skin color,
thickness to different parts of human body, as well as large changes in ambient temperature. The
more exposed the human body is, the more easily and largely the temperature is affected by ambient
temperature.
Scope of Application
The temperature of the measured object is displayed by measuring the thermal radiation of the
forehead.
Composition
It is composed of shell, infrared temperature sensor, signal receiving processor, key, Cob board,
buzzer and LCD.

Guidelines
Portable and mobile RF
communication equipment shall not
be used closer to any part of this
medical infrared thermometer than the
recommended isolation distance,
including cables. The distance shall be
calculated by a formula corresponding
to the frequency of the transmitter.
Recommended isolation distance:
Formula:
p — according to the maximum rated
output power of transmitter provided
by transmitter manufacturer, in watts
(W);
d — Recommended isolation distance,
in meters (m), b.
The field strength of the fixed RF
transmitter is determined by surveying
the electromagnetic field C. in each
frequency range, d should be lower
than the compliance level.

Note 1: on the frequency of 80MHz and 800MHz, the formula of higher frequency band should
be adopted.
Note 2: these guidelines may not be applicable to all situations. Electromagnetic coupling is
affected by absorption and reflection of buildings, objects and human body.
a. Fixed transmitters, such as base stations for wireless (cellular / cordless) telephones and
ground mobile radios, amateur radios, am and FM radio broadcasts, and television
broadcasts, are theoretically unpredictable in field strength. To evaluate the electromagnetic

environment of fixed RF transmitter, the survey of electromagnetic field should be
considered. If the field strength of the place where the medical infrared thermometer is
located is higher than the applicable RF compliance level, the medical infrared thermometer
shall be observed to verify its normal operation. If abnormal performance is observed,
additional measures may be necessary, such as readjusting the direction or position of this
medical infrared thermometer.
b. In the whole frequency range of 150khz-80mhz, the field strength should be lower than
3V / m.
Portable and Mobile RF Communication Equipment and XL-F 02
XL-F 02 medical infrared thermometer is expected to be used in electromagnetic
environment with controlled RF radiation disturbance.
According to the maximum rated output power of communication equipment, the buyer or
user can prevent electromagnetic interference by maintaining the minimum distance between
portable and mobile RF communication equipment (transmitter) and (equipment or system) as
recommended below.
