appliance does fall into liquid, under no circumstances should
you attempt to touch it. Disconnect the power cord first!
− Allow the appliance to cool down for at least half an hour
before cleaning. Remove the fryer pan and frying basket
so that the appliance can cool down more quickly.
CAUTION!
Possible damage to the appliance!
There is a risk of damage to the appliance if it is used
improperly.
− Do not use any rough or abrasive cleansing agents on or in
the housing of the appliance.
− Do not use the dishwasher to clean the air fryer or the
accessories.
− A slightly damp, soft cloth is suitable for cleaning the
control panel and the outer surfaces of the appliance.

Troubleshooting
The product left the warehouse in perfect condition. If you do, however,
discover a problem, see if you can solve it by using the solutions offered
in the following table. If these do not work, contact our Customer Service
department.
Problem Possible cause Troubleshooting
The appliance is not
working.
The power cord is not
connected to a power
socket.
Only connect the appliance to a
properly installed power outlet.
Entry not completed. Start the cooking process by pressing
the On/Off Switch 18 .
The food is not
cooked.
There is too much food in
the frying basket.
Fill the frying basket with small
pieces. Smaller pieces cook more
evenly.
The cooking temperature
is too low. Press the Control button +21 or
Control button -17 to increase or
decrease the desired cooking time /
cooking temperature.
The cooking time is too
short.
The food is not
cooked evenly.
The pieces of food are
too close to each other.
Shake the frying basket and
distribute the food more evenly. Many
foods need to be shaken after half the
cooking time has elapsed.
The fried foods are
not crisp enough.
The food is unsuitable for
cooking in the air fryer.
Use oven-ready or lightly oiled snacks
for crispier results.
The appliance will
not close properly.
The frying basket is too
full.
Do not fill the frying basket to more
than 28.21oz (800g).

Problem Possible cause Troubleshooting
White smoke comes
out of the appliance.
The food is very fatty. During preparation, fat from these
very fatty foods will drip into the
fryer pan. The fat causes a higher
temperature than usual to develop
in the fryer pan – this does not impair
the appliance or the cooking result.
The fryer pan still
contains food residue
from previous use.
Fat residues burn in the fryer pan.
Clean the fryer pan after every use.
Freshly cut french
fries are not evenly
fried.
The fries have not been
sufficiently soaked.
Place the fries in cold water for
around 30 minutes to remove the
starch. Dry the chips using kitchen
paper before adding to the basket.
The variety of potato is
unsuitable.
Freshly cut french
fries are unable to
get crisp.
The potatoes are too
damp.
The crispiness is dependent on
the water and starch content of
the variety of potato used and the
quantity of oil.
Dry the potatoes carefully and cover
them with about 1/2 tablespoon of oil.
Cut the potatoes into smaller pieces.
