For full battery performance please charge and discharge the new battery two or three times consecutively!
Before switching on your noteboo computer ensure that there is not a disc (CD, DVD, etc) in the optical
drive. Some discs may prevent the operating system booting correctly from the hard drive
CAUTION!
To avoid damage to the display, never place objects on top of the noteboo that would exert any pressure on it.
1. Insert the battery before bringing the noteboo into
operation by sliding the battery pac into the
compartment. Loc the battery under all circumstances,
in order to avoid it falling out unintentionally.
2. Connect the supplied power adapter to the
noteboo at the noteboo power soc et [15] .
3. Connect the power adapter via a power cable to
a free AC power outlet. Set the switch on the
mains adapter to position I, to provide the
noteboo with electricity and to charge the battery.
(Set this switch to 0, in order to interrupt the
electricity supply.)
4. Open the display to the required position. To avoid damage
to the TFT Display, never open it more than 120º.
5. Switch the noteboo on by pushing the ON/OFF
button [2]. The noteboo computer will start.
6. The "Welcome" procedure will guide you through
a series of dialogue boxes. The information in each
dialogue box will explain the steps that need to be
ta en. Follow the instructions carefully on-screen.

software after the first restart after setting up your noteboo for the first time.

Note:
Do not install additional antivirus software as this will degrade the performance of our notebook
computer.
Note:
The operating system and antivirus software are automatically updated when the first online connection
is made. These processes usually ta e a few minutes, during which time the operating speed of the
computer may be affected although this is only noticeable on initial start-up.
