Be sure to observe the following precautions when using the unit:
•This unit works best when used in bright lighting, such as sunlight or
a brightly-lit room. Results in dimly-lit areas will vary.
• Never attempt your own repairs. Always leave service to authorized repair
facilities.
• Keep the unit away from water and other liquids, and never let it get wet.
Never use when it is raining or snowing.
• Should foreign matter or water get into the unit, immediately turn the power
off and contact your local authorized service center.
• Physical damage and malfunction of the unit can cause the image data
stored in its memory to be deleted. Be sure to always keep backup copies
of data by transferring to a personal computer.
• In an environment with electrostatic discharge, the user may have to reset
the unit.
•Use Alkaline batteries for best results.
• Do not leave the unit in places subject to extremely high temperatures, such
as a sealed vehicle or in direct sunlight.
• Do not place the unit in unstable locations, such as a sloping surface or
unstable table where the camera may fall.
• Do not touch or press on the display or lens.

USI G THE STRAP
Fold over the Strap Flap and connect as
shown. Adjust as desired to fit your hand.
Insert the Velcro straps into each of the
Strap Holders.

adjust the length of the straps as desired.

Slide the cover back on.
OTE: When the batteries are low, the
battery low indicator will blink in the display.
BATTERY PRECAUTIO S
Follow these precautions when using batteries in this device:
1. Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
2. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries as indicated inside the
battery compartment. Reversed batteries may cause damage to the device.
3. Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. Alkaline and Carbon-zinc) or old
batteries with fresh ones.
4. If the device is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent
damage or injury from possible battery leakage.
5. Do not try to recharge batteries not intended to be recharged; they can overheat and rupture.
(Follow battery manufacturer’s directions.)
Remove the battery compartment cover by
sliding it off. Insert three (3) AAA batteries
into the battery compartment, observing the
polarity marks (+/–) as shown.

Press the Power button to turn the unit
on. “Memorex” will appear briefly in the
display.
TUR I G THE POWER O A D OFF
Press and hold the Power button until
“ oodbye” appears in the display
(approximately one second).
OTE: To save the battery power, the unit will automatically turn off after 60
seconds of inactivity, but the pictures will remain in memory.

HI TS O USI G A SD/MMC CARD:
1. When an SD/MMC card is inserted, the Card indicator will appear in the
display and new pictures taken will be stored on the SD/MMC card
automatically.
2. Push the SD/MMC card all the way in to make sure the SD/MMC card is fully
inserted.
3. The memory card must be inserted otherwise no video or picture can be
taken.
TO REMOVE:
• To remove the card from the camera, push down on the card to initiate the
self-eject mechanism.
MEMORY FULL:
When the SD/MMC card memory is full, “FULL” will blink in the display when you
attempt to take a video/picture. Back-up the data onto your computer and delete
files in this case.
