The First 1000 Miles
(1500 km)
The mo e cautiously you t eat you
vehicle du ing the b eak-in pe iod,
the mo e satisfied you will be with
its pe fo mance late on. The e
fo e, d ive you vehicle du ing the
fi st 1000 miles (1500 km) at
mode ate vehicle and engine
speeds.
Du ing this pe iod, avoid heavy
loads (full th ottle d iving) and
high RPM (no mo e than 2/3 of
maximum pe missible speed in
each gea as indicated on the
speedomete ).
Avoid accele ating by kickdown. It
is not ecommended to b ake the
vehicle by manually shifting to a
lowe gea . We ecommend to
select positions ”3” o ”2” only at
mode ate speeds (fo hill d iving).
Afte 1000 miles (1500 km)

maximum.
