Super 1-2-3 pitch position SUPER 1-2-3 H3000mm frame
PREAMBLE
Refer to the Super 1-2-3 Technical Manual (MT08) for the cor-
rect location of the frame bracing components.
For each available frame height the manual provides:
· number of horizontal bracing;
· number of diagonals;
· location in height of each component;
· position referred to frame axis of each component (inner
or outer frame).
Images below detail the pitch of upright connection lugs and
the correct connection point onto the upright for each brac-
ing component.
The example shows a 3000mm high frame, for other dimen-
sions refer to the Technical Manual (MT08).

Note the difference between the
top and bottom connection of
the diagonal.
The top is longer so to act as an
assembly guide to set the correct
assembly angle.
The dimension of the horizontal
spacer bar is equal to the nominal
frame dimension. Check the
diagonal spacer bar by overlaying
it against the horizontal.
If the connection lugs align,
the diagonal is correct.
Both diagonal and horizontal
spacer bars contain a central
ribbon (A), present between
the connection lugs. This locks
behind the upright connection
lug to create a safety clip to
prevent these components
from decoupling.
Mark out the frame bracing
connection points on the pair of
uprights of a frame.
During this operation make
sure to mark the correct side
of the upright for each frame
component, as detailed in the
Technical Manual.
Assemble a complete frame
following the procedure detailed
below. Use the first frame as a
guide for all other frame assembly.

Start the assembly procedure
from the lower diagonal.
Knock the top of the diagonal,
with a plastic capped hammer,
until the bottom connection
sits on the start of the opposite
upright lug.
Press the horizontal spacer bar
against the uprights and hammer
in position until the component
is seated and the safety clips are
activated.
If the horizontal spacer bar is
difficult to seat, twist the upright
until the spacer clips hard up
against the top of the connection
lugs and then hammer home
with the plastic capped hammer.
Tap the bottom connection so
that it seats.
Knock the top and then
the bottom of the diagonal
alternately until the component
is seated and the safety clips are
activated.

Rotate the frame.
Assemble the first face of the
frame following MT-08.
Assemble the second face of
the frame following MT-08 and
repeat the passages listed above.

Assemble the base plates, first
positioning it by hand as shown,
then knocking it in the final
position with the plastic tipped
hammer.
Assemble the beams to the
frames starting from the rear of
the bay.
Approach the frames at an angle
and press in position as shown.
Complete the frame assembly
with the single side top cap.
NOTE: double side top caps
are assembled once the
shelving has been erected.

Complete assembly with plastic
capped hammer.
Use the back of the palm to press
the beam in position.
Repeat at the opposite upright.
The upright may be rotated to
assist.
Beam correctly assembled with
two connection points at both
ends of the beam in place as
shown.

Complete the assembly of the
rear beams before assembling the
front beams.
Bend the upper end of the ribbon
onto the beam.
Three safety pin models may be
used.
First safety pin: not suited for the
central beams of double side
installations.
Insert the ends of the ribbon in
the connection holes on the front
face of the upright.

Secure the safety pin tapping it in
position as shown.
Compact safety pin: suited for
both single and double side
installations.
Position by hand the safety pin on
top of the beam at the inside face
of the upright.
PVC safety clip: suited for the
central beam of double side bays
only.
Install by hand on the first
connection nib above the beam.

Place the shelving panels in
position.
Assembly complete.
