Meters are designed for responsible listening. To enjoy the maximum pleasure
from your Meters headphones here are some DOSand DON’TS.
DON’T use the headphones at a high volume for any extended period. High
volume for long periods means you will only be able to enjoy Meters for a short
period. No fun in that!
- To avoid hearing impairment, use your headphones at a comfortable,
moderate volume level.
- Always turn the volume down on your Meters before placing the headphones
on your ears, gradually turning up the volume until you reach a comfortable
listening level.
DO focus on your safety and always be aware of what is going on around you.
Please pay particular attention when using Meters while engaging in any activity
such as riding a bicycle or running or walking in or near traffic, a building site or
railroad, etc.
DON’T use mobile phone adapters to connect headphones to airplane seat
jacks. This could result in personal injury such as burns or property damage
due to overheating. Remove and disconnect immediately if you experience a
warming sensation or any loss of audio.

DON’T use your headphones while driving or at any time when the inability to
hear outside surrounding sounds may present a danger to yourself or others.
DO be aware of the temperatures and humidity when using Meters headphones.
Operate or store in a place where the temperature is between -15˚C ( 5˚F ) and
55˚C (131˚F) (up to 90% relative humidity).
DON’T submerge or expose for extended period to water, or wear while par-
ticipating in water sports, i.e. swimming, water-skiing, surfing, etc. Exposure to
moisture may increase the risk of fire or electric shock.
DON’T use the headphones as aviation communication headsets except in
case of emergency.
DON’T place naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, near your Meters
headphones.
DON’T make any unauthorised alterations to your Meters. Doing so will void the

Getting started
Turn on and Play:
Straight out of the box your Meters headphones will be fully charged & ready
to go,simply turn on the BT switch on the left side of the headphone, you will
be greeted by a friendly voice stating BT is on, then hold the Play/Pause button
to pair to your device, make sure BT is enabled on your selected device. Select
“METERS’ and click pair. You will be informed that the pair was successful.
Get comfortable:
Making sure your headphones are correctly positioned on your head will ensure
the best quality of audio. We use a sprung steel flex fit headband so you can
easily work it to fit your head shape.
Keep them charged:
Using the provided USB cable you can plug them into any USB socket to
maintain the battery life. There is a red LED charging indicator located on the
base of the headphone close to the USB socket, This will illuminate while
charging and will go off once fully charged. Fully Charged = 1.2hrs. 20mins of
charge = 2hrs of playback.
Incoming calls:
When using your phone as a listening device you will be able to use it hands free
to answer calls. The OV-1-B has a built in microphone so you never miss a call.
Answer using the play/pause/answer button on the left ear cap.

Active Noise Cancelling:
The OV-1-B’s have ANC making even the loudest environment a place of soli-
tude, the ANC can be turned on/off via the switch on the right ear cap this can
be used in conjunction with the BT function or with the wired option if required.
The switch will not affect the signal so can be turned on and off independently.
Wired or Wireless:
OV-1-B can be used even if you don’t have them charged, with both switches
off just plug in your supplied cable and away you go, enjoying the same quality
of audio.
What is aptX HD?:
Qualcomm® aptX™ HD audio ensures your Bluetooth® wireless enabled device
can deliver High Definition (HD) audio. It preserves sound data through the
audio transmission, resulting in a ‘better-than-CD’ listening experience.
The function of the Meter:
The VU meter featured on the left and right ears of the headphones are a
line-level signal indicator designed to make others around aware of how loud
your music is.
This can been seen as a safety feature for concerned parents and guardians.
Listening to loud music for prolonged periods of time can course severe hearing
damage. Please see Fig 1.0 for reference of listening volumes.

Meters is ontworpen met het oog op een verantwoorde luisterwijze. Voor
maximaal plezier van uw hoofdtelefoon van Meters zijn er een aantal DOS EN
DON’TS.
Gebruik de hoofdtelefoon NIET gedurende een lange periode op een luid vol-
ume. Een luid volume gedurende lange perioden betekent dat u Meters alleen
voor een korte periode kunt gebruiken. Dat is niet leuk!
- Om gehoorschade te voorkomen, dient u uw hoofdtelefoon op een comforta-
bel, en niet te luid volume te gebruiken.
- Draai het geluidsvolume altijd naar het laagste niveau op uw Meters voordat u
de hoofdtelefoon op uw oren plaatst en zet het volume geleidelijk luider totdat u
een comfortabel niveau bereikt.
Zorg voor een veilig gebruik en wees u altijd bewust van uw omgeving. Wees
vooral aandachtig wanneer u Meters in combinatie met andere activiteiten
gebruikt zoals fietsen, joggen of wandelen in of in de buurt van het verkeer, een
bouwwerf of een spoorweg, enz.
Gebruik geen adapter van uw mobiele telefoon om een hoofdtelefoon aan te
sluiten op een vliegtuigstoelaansluiting . Dit kan leiden tot persoonlijk letsel zoals
brandwonden of materiële schade door oververhitting. Verwijder en koppel
onmiddellijk los indien u voelt dat de hoofdtelefoon warm wordt of indien het
geluid wegvalt.
NEDERLANDS:

Gebruik uw hoofdtelefoon NIET tijdens het rijden of wanneerhet onvermogen
om omgevingsgeluiden te horen een gevaar vormt voor uzelf of voor anderen.
Wees op de hoogte van de temperatuur en de vochtigheid tijdens het gebruik
van de hoofdtelefoon van Meters. Gebruik of bewaar op een plaats waar de
temperatuur tussen -15˚C en 55°C is (tot 90% relatieve vochtigheid).
Dompel de hoofdtelefoon NIET onder in water, stel de hoofdtelefoon niet
gedurende langere tijd bloot aan water en draag de hoofdtelefoon niet tijdens
het beoefenen van watersporten, d.w.z. zwemmen, waterskiën, surfen, e.d.
Blootstelling aan vocht kan het risico op brand of elektrische schok verhogen.
Gebruik de hoofdtelefoon NIET als communicatiemiddel in de luchtvaart,
behalve in een noodgeval.
Plaats GEEN open vuur, zoals brandende kaarsen, in de buurt van uw hoofdtele-
foon van Meters.
Voer GEENongeautoriseerde wijzigingen aan uw Meters uit. Hierdoor vervalt d
garantie en komt de veiligheidin gevaar. Ook beïnvloedtdit de naleving van de
regels en de werking van het systeem.
Vergeet niet dat Meters DE enige hoofdtelefoon is die beweegt op maat van
uw muziek. Onze exclusieve technologie en innovatie zorgen ervoor datu, de

Aan de slag
Aanzetten en afspelen:
Direct uit de doos is uw Meters-hoofdtelefoon volledig opgeladen en klaar voor
gebruik zet de BT-schakelaar aan de linkerkant van de hoofdtelefoon om, u
wordt begroet door een vriendelijke stem die aangeeft dat BT is ingeschakeld
en houd de afspeel-/pauze-knop ingedrukt om uw apparaat te koppelen, zorg
ervoor dat BT is ingeschakeld op uw geselecteerde apparaat. Selecteer ‘ME-
TERS’ en klik op koppelen. Als het koppelen is geslaagd, wordt u daarvan op de
hoogte gesteld.
Zorg voor een comfortabele ervaring:
Zorg ervoor dat uw hoofdtelefoon juist op uw hoofd is geplaatst, zodat de beste
geluidskwaliteit is gegarandeerd. Wij maken gebruik van een gebogen stalen
flex-fit hoofdband zodat u deze gemakkelijk aan uw hoofdvorm kunt aanpassen.
Houd de hoofdtelefoon opgeladen:
Gebruik de meegeleverde USB-kabel om uw hoofdtelefoon aan te sluiten op
een USB-aansluiting zodat de batterij blijft opgeladen. Het basisstation bevat
een rood ledlampje, vlak bij de USB-aansluiting. Dit licht op tijdens
het opladen en gaat uit als de hoofdtelefoon volledig is opgeladen. Volledig
opgeladen = 1,2 uur 2 uur van afspelen = 20 minuten.
Inkomende oproepen:
Wanneer u uw telefoon als afluisterapparaat gebruikt, kunt u deze handsfree
gebruiken om gesprekken te beantwoorden. De OV-1-B heeft een ingebouwde
microfoon zodat u nooit een oproep mist. Beantwoord met behulp van de
afspeel-/pauze-/antwoordknop op de linker oorschelp.

Actieve ruisonderdrukking:
De OV-1-B heeft Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) waardoor u zelfs in de luidste
omgeving rust kunt vinden. De ANC kan worden in- of uitgeschakeld via de
schakelaar aan de rechter oorschelp. Deze kan worden gebruikt in combi-
natie met de BT-functie of met de bedrade optie waar nodig. De schakelaar
heeft geen invloed op het signaal en kan dus onafhankelijk worden in- en
uitgeschakeld.
Bedraad of Draadloos:
OV-1-B kan worden gebruikt, zelfs als u hem niet hebt opgeladen, sluit met beide
schakelaars uit gewoon de meegeleverde kabel aan en dat is alles, u kunt geniet-
en van dezelfde geluidskwaliteit.
Wat is aptX HD ?:
Qualcomm® aptX ™ HD-audio zorgt ervoor dat uw Bluetooth®-draadloze ap-
paraat High Definition (HD) audio kan leveren. Het behoudt geluidsdata tijdens
de audio-overdracht, wat resulteert in een ‘beter-dan-CD’-luisterervaring.
De functie van de Meter:
De VU-meter op de linker- en rechteroren van de hoofdtelefoon is een
signaalindicator met lijnniveau ontworpen om aan uw omgeving aan te geven
hoe luid uw muziek staat.
Dit kan beschouwd worden als een veiligheidsvoorziening voor bezorgde ouders
en voogden. Langdurig luisteren naar luide muziek kan leiden tot ernstige ge-
hoorschade. Zie afbeelding 1.0 voor een referentie voor luistervolumes.

Langdurige blootstelling aan een luid volumeafkomstig uit uw hoofdtele-
foon of oortelefoon kan het gehoor van de gebruiker beschadigen.
Om het risico op gehoorbeschadiging te verminderen, werdeen Europe-
serichtlijn afgevaardigd die testprocedures voorschrijft om hetgelu-
idsniveau van hoofd- en oortelefoons van persoonlijke muziekspelers en
soortgelijke consumentenapparatuur te meten.

Informations importantes sur lasécurité
Merci de lire le mode d’emploi de Meters et de le garder à portée de main pour
le futur.
Les écouteurs Meterssont conçus pour écouter de la musique de manière
responsable. Pour avoir un maximum de plaisir Avec vos écouteurs Meters, voici
ce qu’il faut faire ou éviter.
N’utilisez PAS les écouteurs avec un volume trop fort pendant une période
de temps prolongée. Si le volume de Meters est trop fort, et ce sur de longues
périodes de temps, vous ne serez pas en mesure de profiter pleinement de vos
écouteurs sur le long terme. Aucun plaisir là-dedans!
- Pour éviter des troubles de l’audition, réglez le volume de vos écouteurs à un
niveau modéré.
- Baissez toujoursle volume sur vos Meters avant de mettre les écouteurs Dans
vos oreilles, et progressivement réglez le volume jusqu’à atteindre un niveau
confortable pour écouter.
Faites attention à votre sécurité et restez toujours au courant de ce qui se
passe autour de vous. Merci de prêter une attention toute particulière lorsque
vous utilisez vos écouteurs Meters alors que vous êtes en mouvement, comme
par exemple si vous faites du vélo, si vous courrez ou marchez dans ou à prox-
imité de la circulation, d’un chantier ou encore d’un chemin de fer, etc...
N’utilisez PAS d’adaptateurs de téléphone portable pour connecter vos
écouteurs sur un jack de siège d’avion.Cela pourrait entraîner des blessures
comme des brûlures ou des dommages matériels Résultant d’une surchauffe.
Retirez-les et débranchez-les immédiatement si vous ressentez une sensation
de chaleur ou une perte audio.
