Bevor Sie Ihr Gerät in Betrieb nehmen, machen Sie sich bitte sorgfältig mit der Bedienungs-
anleitung vertraut. Bei Weitergabe des Gerätes geben Sie bitte auch die Bedienungsanleitung
weiter.
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung: Dieses Gerät ist zum Bügeln im privaten Haushalt.
Es ist nicht für kommerzielle Zwecke bestimmt. Benutzen Sie das Gerät wie in der Bedienungs-
anleitung angegeben und beachten Sie alle Sicherheitshinweise. Für Schäden oder Unfälle,
die durch Nichtbeachten dieser Anleitung entstehen, übernehmen wir keine Haftung.
•Das Gerät nicht verwenden wenn:
-es heruntergefallen ist und/oder sichtbare Schäden an Gehäuse oder Netzkabel hat.
-es Funktionsstörungen aufweist
•Ein beschädigtes Netzkabel darf ausschließlich von einem Fachmann (*) ausgewechselt
werden, um Gefährdungen durch elektrischen Strom zu vermeiden. Für alle Reparaturen
wenden Sie sich an einen Fachmann (*).
(*)Fachmann: anerkannter Kundendienst des Lieferanten oder des Importeurs, der für derartige
Reparaturen zuständig ist. Für alle Reparaturen wenden Sie sich bitte an diesen Kundendienst.
•Vorsicht! Ein Elektrogerät ist kein Kinderspielzeug! Lassen Sie das Gerät während
des Gebrauchs nie unbeaufsichtigt. Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Personen
(einschließlich Kinder) mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen
Fähigkeiten oder mangels Erfahrung und/oder mangels Wissen benutzt zu werden, es
sei denn, sie werden durch eine für ihre Sicherheit zuständige Person beaufsichtigt oder
erhielten von ihr Anweisungen, wie das Gerät zu benutzen ist.
•Kinder müssen beaufsichtigt werden, damit sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
•Klären Sie Ihre Kinder über Gefahren die im Zusammenhang mit elektrischen Geräten
entstehen können auf:
-Gefahr durch heiße und/oder bewegliche Geräteteile
-Gefahr durch während des Betriebes entweichende heiße Luft
-Gefahr durch elektrischen Strom
•Wählen Sie den Standort Ihres Gerätes so, dass Kinder keinen Zugriff auf das Gerät
haben. Benutzen und lagern Sie das Gerät nur außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern.
Auch das Netzkabel muss für Kinder unerreichbar sein, sie könnten das Gerät daran
herunterziehen.

•Zur Sicherheit keine Verpackungsteile (Plastikbeutel, Karton, Styropor, etc.) für Kinder
erreichbar liegen lassen. Sie dürfen nicht mit dem Kunststoffbeutel spielen,
es besteht Erstickungsgefahr!
•Vorsicht Stromschlaggefahr! Das Gerät, das Netzkabel und der Netzstecker dürfen
auf keinen Fall mit Wasser oder anderen Flüssigkeiten in Berührung kommen.
-Tauchen Sie das Gerät und das Netzkabel nie in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten,
weder zum Reinigen noch zu einem anderen Zweck.
-Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe eines Wasch- oder Spülbeckens.
-Berühren Sie das Gerät nicht mit feuchten Händen.
-Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht auf feuchten Untergrund.
-Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien.
•Gerät immer nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Steckdose anschließen.
Die Netzspannung muss mit den technischen Daten des Gerätes übereinstimmen.
•Verwenden Sie, falls dies nötig ist, ordnungsgemäße Verlängerungskabel, deren
technische Daten mit denen des Gerätes übereinstimmen.
•Als zusätzlicher Schutz vor Gefahren durch elektrischen Strom wird der Einbau einer
Fehlerstromschutzeinrichtung (RCD) mit einem Bemessungsauslösestrom von nicht mehr
als 30 mA im Haushaltsstromkreis empfohlen. Fragen Sie Ihren Elektro-Installateur um Rat.
•Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker,
-bevor Sie den Wassertank füllen,
-wenn Sie das Gerät nicht benutzen,
-bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen.
•Um den Netzstecker zu ziehen, immer am Stecker, nicht am Netzkabel anfassen.
•Gerät niemals am Netzkabel tragen. Netzkabel nicht knicken und nicht um das Gerät
wickeln. Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig, ob das Netzkabel nicht beschädigt ist.
•Bei Beschädigung des Netzkabels oder des Gerätes darf dieses keinesfalls benutzt werden.
•Stellen Sie das Gerät stets auf eine stabile, trockene und rutschfeste Unterlage, die gegen
Hitze und Wasserspritzer unempfindlich ist.
•Stellen Sie das Gerät weder auf eine Herdplatte noch neben einem Heizkörper auf.
Kunststoffteile könnten schmelzen.
•Verlegen Sie das Netzkabel immer so, dass niemand daran ziehen und dass es nicht
zur Stolperfalle werden kann. Das Netzkabel darf nicht durch scharfe Kanten oder durch
Berührung mit heißen Stellen beschädigt werden. Das Netzkabel darf nie mit Nässe und
Feuchtigkeit Kontakt haben.
•Wenn Sie das Bügeln beenden, wenn Sie das Gerät reinigen, den Wassertank füllen
oder leeren, auch dann wenn Sie den Raum nur kurzfristig verlassen, stellen Sie stets
den Dampfregler auf Position „0“ (Aus), das Bügeleisen hochkant und ziehen Sie
den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.

Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
Entfernen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial und die Schutzfolie von der Bügelsohle bevor Sie das
Gerät zum ersten Mal an das Stromnetz anschließen.
Die Bügelsohle ist zum Schutz leicht eingefettet und kann dadurch beim ersten Gebrauch etwas
Rauch abgeben. Das ist unbedenklich und hört nach kurzer Zeit auf.
Benutzen Sie beim ersten Bügeln ein altes Textilstück, um sicherzustellen, dass keinerlei
Produktionsrückstände mehr auf der Bügelsohle oder im Wassertank sind.
Bedienungsanleitung und Hinweise zum Bügeln
Wasser einfüllen
•Vorsicht Stromschlaggefahr! Füllen Sie immer Wasser ein bevor Sie das Gerät an
das Stromnetz anschließen! Achten Sie beim Einfüllen von Wasser darauf, dass kein
Wasser außen über das Gerät läuft, denn es könnte in das Geräteinnere eindringen
und einen Kurzschluss oder lebensgefährlichen Stromschlag verursachen.
Stellen Sie den Dampfregler auf „0“ (siehe Bild rechts).
Öffnen Sie dann den Wassertankverschluss und füllen
Sie mit dem Einfüllbecher kaltes Wasser bis zur Markierung
„MAX“ in den Wassertank. Schließen Sie den Wassertank.
Gerät einschalten
•Achtung: Lassen Sie das Gerät während des Gebrauchs nie unbeaufsichtigt.
•Vorsicht Verbrennungsgefahr!: Bei Betrieb von Elektro-Wärmegeräten entstehen
hohe Temperaturen – z. B. durch heißen Dampf und die heiße Bügelsohle - die zu
Verbrennungen führen können. Das Gerät grundsätzlich nur am Griff anfassen und
immer mit der nötigen Vorsicht verwenden. Berühren Sie nie die heiße Bügelsohle.
Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Steckdose. Sobald das Gerät an das Stromnetz
angeschlossen ist, leuchten die Kontrollleuchten (rechts hinten am Gerät und oben am Griff)
und zeigen an, dass das Gerät betriebsbereit ist. Einige Sekunden erscheinen alle
Betriebsanzeigen im Display, dann schaltet das Gerät automatisch in eine neutrale Funktion.
Es erscheint „OFF“ im Display (siehe auch Bild oben und Bild 1).
Funktionen der Kontrollleuchten
Die blaue Kontrollleuchte (rechts hinten im Gerät) ist die Betriebskontrollleuchte und zeigt
an, dass das Gerät am Stromnetz angeschlossen ist. Sie leuchtet auch während des Bügelns.
Die rote Kontrollleuchte leuchtet permanent während der Aufheizphase und erlischt nach
Erreichen der eingestellten Temperatur.
Die blaue Kontrollleuchte schaltet sich kurz aus und die rote Kontrollleuchte leuchtet kurz auf,
wenn das Gerät aufrecht stehend, in einen andere Betriebsstufe geschaltet wird. Nach etwa
30-60 Sekunden schaltet sich die blaue Kontrollleuchte aus und die rote Kontrollleuchte beginnt
zu blinken, wenn sich das Gerät horizontal auf der Bügelunterlage stehend in den „Standby“-
Modus (siehe auch Bild 4) umschaltet. „Standby“ ist eine Sicherheitsfunktion um Brand und
Schaden an Textilien zu verhindern, sollte das Gerät in horizontaler Position stehen bleiben
und länger nicht bewegt werden. Ein Signalton ertönt und im Display am Griff erscheint das
Wort „Standby“ um diesen Betriebsmodus anzuzeigen. Sobald Sie das Gerät wieder bewegen,
schaltet es in die zuletzt eingestellte Betriebsstufe um. Die rote Kontrollleuchte schaltet aus,
die blaue Kontrollleuchte beginnt wieder zu leuchten. Die zuletzt eingestellte Betriebsstufe
wird erneut im Display am Griff angezeigt.

Steht das am Stromnetz angeschlossene Bügeleisen längere Zeit aufrecht, schaltet es sich
erst nach ca. 8-10 Minuten in den Modus „Standby“ und die rote Kontrollleuchte blinkt.
Temperatureinstellung und Anzeige
Prüfen Sie vor dem Bügeln stets die Bügelvorschriften auf dem Wäschezeichen.
Acryl, Viskose, Polyamid, Polyester (niedrige Temperatur)
 Seide, Wolle (mittlere Temperatur)
 Baumwolle, Leinen (hohe Temperatur)
MAX Höchste Temperaturstufe (dicke Stoffe)
Das Gerät hat eine 4-stufige Temperatureinstellung mit blau beleuchtetem Display am oberen
Griff. Durch Drücken des Temperaturreglers (siehe Bild 1) stellen Sie die gewünschte
Temperaturstufe ein. Die Anzeigen für die Stufen von 1-4 (= MAX.) werden angezeigt, sobald
Sie den Temperaturregler drücken. 1 x schalten = niedrige Temperaturstufe , 2 x schalten =
mittlere Temperaturstufe ,usw. Bei jedem Druck auf den Temperaturregler ertönt ein
Signalton.
Die gewählte Betriebsstufe wird durch verschiedene Symbole im Display angezeigt (s. Bilder).
Rechts neben der Temperaturstufenanzeige erscheint während des Aufheizens eine
Thermometer-Grafik (siehe Bild 2 und 3). In dieser blinken drei Rechtecke während der
Aufheizphase. Wenn die Rechtecke nicht mehr blinken, ist die Temperatur erreicht.

Bügeln ohne Dampf
Beginnen Sie das Bügeln mit Bügelware die niedrige Bügeltemperaturen erfordert, z. B.
synthetische Stoffe. Beachten Sie dabei die Angaben auf den Wäschezeichen!
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Dampfregler auf Position „0“ steht (Dampf aus, siehe Bild 1).
Hinweis: Bügeln Sie empfindliche Stoffe zur Vermeidung von Glanzstellen von links.
Empfindliche Stoffe (Wolle, Seide, synthetische Stoffe) neigen zur Bildung von Flecken wenn
sie mit Dampffunktion gebügelt werden! Bügeln Sie empfindliche Stoffe daher ohne Dampf.
Bügeln mit Dampf
Das Bügeln mit Dampf ist nur bei höheren Temperaturen möglich. Stellen Sie den Dampfregler
zuerst auf „0“ (Dampf aus) und den Temperaturregler auf die Stufe 3 =  oder maximale
Temperatur = MAX. Erst in diesen Temperaturstufen, wenn sich das Wasser in der
Dampfkammer genügend erhitzt hat, können Sie die Dampffunktion benutzen. Dann erscheint
rechts neben der Temperaturstufenanzeige ein Dampfsymbol (siehe Bild 3). Es zeigt an, dass
das Bügeleisen bereit zum Bügeln mit Dampffunktion ist. Die Zahlen-Markierungen am
Dampfregler zeigen die verschiedenen Stufen an (5 Stufen von 0 – 4 = höchste Dampfstufe).
Stellen Sie den Dampfregler auf die gewünschte Position, wenn die eingestellte Temperaturstufe
erreicht ist.

Das Gerät besitzt Drucktasten für Spray- und Dampfstoßfunktion. Stellen Sie das Bügeleisen
aufrecht, hört es automatisch auf zu dampfen. Die Tropf-Stopp-Funktion (Anti-Drip) verhindert,
dass Wasser aus der Bügelsohle austritt. Beachten Sie bitte dass bei niedrig eingestellter
Temperatur (Temperaturstufe 1 und 2), etwas Wasser aus der Bügelsohle austreten kann.
Dampfstoßfunktion
Stellen Sie den Temperaturregler auf hohe Temperaturstufe  oder MAX. Drücken Sie die
Dampfstoßtaste (siehe Bild 3), dadurch wird der Dampfstoß ausgelöst. Wiederholen Sie diesen
Vorgang erst nach kurzer Wartezeit, so dass sich das Wasser in der Dampfkammer wieder voll
erhitzen kann. Sie können das Gerät dabei horizontal oder vertikal verwenden.
Spray
Drücken Sie die Spraytaste (siehe Bild 3) wird fein zerstäubtes Wasser auf das Gewebe
gesprüht. Es wird angefeuchtet und hartnäckige Falten können beim Bügeln leichter geglättet
werden.
Trockenbügeln
Stellen Sie den Dampfregler auf „0“ (siehe Bild 1) um die Dampffunktion auszuschalten.
Abstellfläche
Die Abstellfläche gewährt Stabilität beim aufrechten Abstellen während Bügelpausen.
Selbstreinigungsfunktion
Durch kalkhaltiges Wasser oder Textilfusseln können Wassertank oder Dampfaustrittsöffnungen
verunreinigt werden. Wir empfehlen Ihnen daher, das Bügeleisen regelmäßig zu reinigen und
kein Restwasser im Wassertank stehen zu lassen.
Stellen Sie den Temperaturregler und Dampfregler auf die höchste Stufe. Der Wassertank muss
dabei ausreichend Wasser enthalten.
Halten Sie das Bügeleisen einige Zeit in horizontaler Position und lassen es aufheizen, damit
es genügend Druck aufbauen kann.
Halten Sie das Bügeleisen dann über ein Waschbecken oder ein altes Stück Stoff.
Drücken Sie nun die Selbstreinigungstaste (siehe Bild 3). Ein starker Dampfstoß entweicht.
Dieser entfernt eventuelle Kalkrückstände aus Wassertank und den Dampfaustrittsöffnungen.
Anti-Kalk-Funktion
Das Gerät hat im Wassertank eine Anti-Kalk-Einrichtung, welche Kalk-Ionen in Natrium-Ionen
umwandelt, um das Wasser weicher zu machen und Verkalkung im Gerät zu mindern. Zusätzlich
können Sie zum Bügeln destilliertes Wasser verwenden, dies mindert Kalkbildung im
Wassertank.
Automatische Abschaltung
Sollte das Gerät eingeschaltet mit der heißen Bügelsohle ohne Bewegung auf der Bügelware
stehen gelassen werden, wird dies nach ca. 30-60 Sekunden mit einem Signalton gemeldet.
Die rote Kontrollleuchte blinkt, das Gerät schaltet nun automatisch ab („Standby“-Modus).
Beachten Sie dabei, dass das Bügeleisen nur sehr langsam abkühlt. Wenn das Gerät
gerade aufgeheizt hat, können trotz der Abschaltautomatik Schäden an empfindlichen
Textilien entstehen, wenn Sie das Bügeleisen darauf stehen lassen.
Falls das Gerät längere Zeit aufrecht abgestellt bleibt und nicht bewegt wird, schaltet es nach
ca. 8-10 Minuten automatisch auf „Standby“-Modus und das Gerät kühlt langsam ab. Dies bedeutet
nicht, dass das Bügeleisen ganz ausgeschaltet ist. Sobald es wieder in Bügelposition gesetzt
wird, beginnt es erneut zu heizen. Erst wenn der Netzstecker gezogen wird, ist das Gerät ganz
abgeschaltet.
Nach dem Bügeln
Der Netzstecker muss aus der Steckdose gezogen werden um das Gerät ganz auszuschalten.

Reinigung und Aufbewahrung
•ACHTUNG! Ziehen Sie vor dem Reinigen den Netzstecker und lassen Sie das Gerät
abkühlen. Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel erst auf, wenn das Gerät komplett abgekühlt ist.
•Transportieren Sie das Gerät nicht im heißen Zustand. Lassen Sie es ausreichend
abkühlen, bevor Sie es reinigen und wegräumen.
•Stromschlaggefahr: Tauchen Sie auch beim Reinigen niemals das Gerät, Netzkabel
oder Netzstecker in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten und achten Sie darauf, dass
kein Wasser darüber läuft oder ins Innere eindringt. Es besteht Stromschlaggefahr.
Die elektrischen Teile im Inneren können Schaden nehmen. Eindringen von Wasser
in elektrische Geräte führt zu Beschädigung wie z. B. Kurzschluss.
Kalkreste und Verunreinigungen auf der kalten Bügelsohle können Sie mit einem weichen
Tuch und etwas Spülmittel abwischen. Die oberen Teile des Bügeleisens können Sie mit
einem feuchten Tuch abwischen.
Benutzen Sie keine spitzen, scharfen oder scheuernden Reinigungsgeräte, um die Bügelsohle
und das Kunststoffgehäuse zu schützen. Benutzen Sie keinesfalls metallene Gegenstände
(Topfkratzer, Messer usw.) zur Reinigung.
Füllen Sie nie Essig, Entkalker oder andere Chemikalien in den Wassertank.
Entleeren Sie den Wassertank nach Gebrauch um Verkalkung vorzubeugen.
Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen, kindersicheren Ort auf.

Entsorgung
Entsorgen Sie die Verpackung sortenrein und entsprechend Ihrer örtlichen Müllvorschriften.
Geben Sie Karton und Papier zum Altpapier, Folien in die Wertstoffsammlung.
Dieses Produkt darf am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht über den normalen Hausmüll
entsorgt werden, sondern muss an einem Sammelpunkt für das Recycling von elektrischen
und elektronischen Geräten abgegeben werden.
Das Symbol (durchgestrichene Mülltonne) auf dem Produkt, in der Bedienungs-
anleitung oder auf der Verpackung weist darauf hin. Fragen zur Entsorgung
beantwortet Ihre kommunale Entsorgungsstelle. Die Werkstoffe sind gemäß ihrer
Kennzeichnung wieder-verwertbar. Mit der Wiederverwendung, der stofflichen
Verwertung oder anderen Formen der Verwertung von Altgeräten, leisten Sie einen wichtigen
Beitrag zum Schutz unserer Umwelt. Bitte fragen Sie bei Ihrer Gemeindeverwaltung nach der
zuständigen Entsorgungsstelle (Altgerätesammelstelle der kommunalen Entsorgungsstelle).
Führen Sie das Gerät damit einer umweltgerechten Entsorgung zu.

Wir übernehmen für das von uns vertriebene Gerät Gewährleistung von 36 Monaten. Diese
beginnt ab Kaufdatum (Kassenbon). Im Störungsfall geben Sie das komplette Gerät mit
Fehlerangabe und dem Original-Kaufbeleg (Kassenbon), welcher für eine kostenlose Reparatur
oder Umtausch zwingend erforderlich ist, in der Originalverpackung an Ihren Händler.

Innerhalb der Gewährleistung beseitigen wir Mängel des Gerätes, die auf Material- oder

Important safeguards
Please read this instruction manual carefully before use and keep in a safe place for future
reference. If you give the appliance to another person, also supply them with the instruction manual
Intended use: This appliance is suited for ironing. Only use the appliance for domestic purpose -
the appliance is not suited for commercial use. Only use the appliance in the way indicated in this
instruction manual. To avoid damage or danger by improper use, the instruction manual should
be followed carefully.
•Caution! Do not operate any appliance if:
-power cord is damaged
-in case of malfunction or if it has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Special
tools are required to repair the appliance. In any case ask a (*) competent qualified
electrician to check and repair it.
•Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a competent qualified electrician(*)
to avoid any danger caused by electric current.
(*)Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person
who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger.
•An electric appliance is no toy! Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
Small children are not aware of the danger that can be caused by electrical appliances.
Explain to your children all risks which can be caused by electric current:
-Danger caused by hot parts of the appliance and exhausting hot steam
-Danger caused by electric current (electric shock, short circuit, fire danger)
•Keep the appliance at any time out of reach of children or persons who can not handle
electric appliances properly.
•Do not leave packaging components (plastic bags, cardboard, polystyrene, etc.) within
the reach of children, as it could be dangerous - Danger of suffocation!
•Caution risk of electrical shock! Appliance, cord and plug should never get into contact
with water or any other liquids:
-never immerse the appliance, the cord or the plug in water or any other
liquid for anyreason whatsoever
-the cord should never get wet or get in contact with moisture or humid objects.
-never use the appliance near a sink, or bathtub to avoid danger of falling into water
-never touch the appliance with wet hands or standing on wet ground
-never place the appliance on wet ground

-in bathrooms or humid rooms always switch off and unplug electric appliances after
use. The proximity of water presents a hazard even when switched off!!
-never use the appliance outdoors, it is not suited for outdoor use.
•Unplug the appliance
-before filling the water tank and when the appliance is not in use
-before cleaning accessories or the appliance
-when malfunctioning during use
•To unplug only pull the plug, never pull on the cord to avoid damage.
•Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way.
This can avoid accidents of falling down and risk of burning by hot parts of the unit.
•Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
•From time to time check if the cord is damaged. In this case or if the appliance is damaged
it must not be used any more.
•Before first use ensure that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating plate of
the appliance.
•Connect this appliance to a plug which is wired according to the regulations (230 V~ AC).
•Place the appliance on a dry, stable, ant-slip and heat resistant surface.
•Never place the appliance on to or near a hotplate or a hot oven or any other heating
element to avoid damage.
•Never store it near a heating element, plastic parts of the housing could melt.
•Run the cable in a way that nobody can stumble over it or pull on it to avoid accidents.
•Take care that the cable never comes into contact with sharp edges and hot objects.
•Additional protection may be obtained by fitting a residual current device that must not exceed
30 mA (IF < 30mA,) into your home installation. Please consult a qualified electrician.
•Never leave the appliance unattended during operation.
•Always watch the appliance during operation. After each use, unplug.
•Danger of burning! The sole of the appliance gets hot during operation. During
operation of electrical caloric appliances, high temperatures, by hot air or hot sole,
are generated, which may cause injuries. Only touch the handle! Never touch hot parts!
•Do not fold the cable or wind it round the unit to avoid damage.
•Let the unit cool down completely before cleaning and storing.
•Caution! Always keep enough distance to heat sensitive surface, or furniture. Do not place
the iron on any heat sensitive surface while it is hot.
•Ensure that the cord does not touch hot elements nearby or hot parts of the appliance like sole.
•Note: Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
The appliance is not suited for outside use. Moisture can damage the appliance.
•Do not use this appliance for other purpose as for ironing.
•Keep the device and the cable always away from heat, direct sunlight, moisture, sharp
edges and suchlike dangers.
•Switch off the device whenever you are not using it, even for a short moment.
•When you have finished ironing, or when leaving the iron unattended (even for a
short while), when you clean the appliance or when filling or emptying the water
reservoir:
−Set the steam control to position to 0 (Off),
−Place the iron in vertical position
−Remove the mains plug from the wall socket.

•Remove all plastic bags, stickers and the protection film from the sole plate.
•Unroll the cord completely.
•Clean the cold sole plate with a soft damp cloth.
•Some parts of the iron have been slightly greased during production and as a result may
smoke slightly for a short time when switched on for the first time. This will stop after a while.

Warning! Danger of serious burns! Never touch the hot sole plate!
Caution! Danger of electrical shock! Always fill in water before you plug in. Take care
that water does not run over the appliance and can intrude into the electrical parts of the
appliance because it could cause short circuit and danger of life by electrical shock.
Filling water
Before filling water, unplug the appliance first. Set the steam
control to the “0” position (see picture).Open the cover of
water tank and fill in water. (In areas with very calcareous
water, distilled water can prolong the lifetime of the iron).
Close the cover of the water tank again.
Switching on
Caution! Never leave the appliance unattended while in operation.
Caution! Danger of serious burns! The sole of the appliance gets hot during operation.
During operation of electrical caloric appliances, high temperatures caused by hot sole
or hot steam are generated, which may cause injuries. Only touch the handle! Never touch
any hot parts!
Connect the plug into the mains. As soon as the appliance is connected to the mains supply the
control lamps illuminate (on the right side of the back and on the handle on top) and indicate, that
the appliance is in operation. All indications will appear in the display for some seconds, then the
appliance will switch into a neutral function automatically. „OFF“ is indicated in the display (see
picture above).
Functions of the control lamps
The blue control lamp (on the right side of the back) indicates operation and that the appliance
is connected to the mains supply. The blue control lamp is illuminated during ironing also.
The red control lamp is illuminated while heating up and will switch off as soon as the
temperature is reached.
The blue control lamp will switch off for a short time and the red control lamp will switch on for
a short time, if the appliance is in upright position and the operation mode will be changed by
switching into another level.
After two minutes the blue control lamp will switch off and the red control lamp switches on

and flashes, while the appliance is standing vertically on the working place, it will switch into
a “Standby-mode” automatically then (see fig. 4) „Standby“ is a safety function to avoid burn and
damage of the textiles if the iron will be left parked in vertical position and will not be moved any
more for a longer time. The iron indicates this with an acoustic signal and the word „Standby“
will appear on the display. As soon as the iron will be moved again, it will change into the preset
adjustment. The red control lamp is switched off and the blue control lamp is illuminated.
Then preset adjustment is indicated in the display again. If the iron is positioned upright for a
longer time, it will change into „Standby“ mode after approx. 20-30 minutes. The red control lamp
will flash permanently then.
Temperature adjustment and indication
Always check first to see whether a label with ironing instruction is attached to the article to
be ironed.
Synthetic fibres, Acryl, Viscose, Polyamide, Polyester (low temperature, see fig.1)
 silk, wool (medium temperature)
 cotton, linen (high temperature, see fig. 3)
MAX highest temperature setting for thick cotton or linen fabrics
The appliance provides a 4-level temperature adjustment with blue illuminated LED indication on
top of the handle. The desired temperature can be adjusted by pressing the temperature control
(see fig. 1). The levels from 1-4 (= MAX) are indicated as soon as the temperature control will be
pressed. Press 1 x = low level , press 2 x =  next higher level etc. Each time you press the
temperature control an acoustic signal will sound.
The selected operation mode is indicated by various symbols in the display (see the pictures
1-4 in the following instruction also).
While heating up a thermometer picture will appear on the right side next to the temperature
indication (see Fig. 2 and 3). It indicates that the appliance is heating up until the appliance
has reached the adjusted temperature. Then it will switch off.

Ironing without steam
Before starting ironing always check first whether a label with iron symbol is attached in the
reverse side of the cloth. See the table provided in these instructions for choosing the right
ironing level. Follow these ironing instructions in all cases. Start ironing by using textiles which
need low iron temperature like synthetics, silk. Ensure that steam control is in position “0” (Fig.
1, “Steam off”). Tip: Sensitive fabrics tend to get glossy stripes or water spots while using steam.
When steam-ironing woollen fabrics, shining of the fabric may occur. This can be prevented by
turning the article inside out and ironing the reverse side. Iron all sensitive fabrics by turning them
to the reverse side first. To avoid risks completely do not use steam while ironing sensitive
fabrics.

Steam function:
You can use the steam function if water is filled into the water tank only. Always fill water into
the iron while the iron is unplugged and cold! Ironing with steam is possible at higher
temperatures only. Turn the steam control button to “0” position and set the temperature control
to  or MAX position. The scales of the control lamps display the adjusted level. The iron will
heat up now. Now turn the steam control button to the maximum position, steam will come out,
ironing can start.
The iron has push buttons for spray and steam function. Turning the steam control will minimize
or maximize the steam function. When placing the iron into upright position, steam function will
stop automatically. Even when the temperature is too low for building up steam, water will not
drip out of the steam holes thanks to the integrated Anti-Drip function.
Burst-of-steam function:
The water tank must be filled. Set the temperature control to the  or MAX position, then
press down the burst of steam button (see Fig. 3). The burst of steam will come out with force
of the soleplate. Wait a few seconds to allow the steam-chamber to refill and get pressure again
before you repeat this. You can use this function in both - horizontal and vertical position.
Spray function:
Only when water is filled into the water tank the spray function will operate. Press the spray
button and vaporised water will spray out from the spray nozzle to humidify the fabric to easy
the ironing of creases.
Dry function: Turn the steam control selector to “0” (see Fig. 1). Steam is now switched off.
Parking
A big parking sill guarantees firm upright stand while the iron is not in use for a short pause.
Self-Clean function:
Lint and calcareous water might block the steam holes in the sole plate. Manufacturer
recommends to regularly clean the appliance and not to leave water in the water tank to avoid
risk of damaging.
For self-clean function the water tank must be filled to MAX position and the iron must be
adjusted to steam level 4. Set the temperature control button to the MAX position also. Then
push the self cleaning button (see Fig. 3) below the handle. A stronger steam burst will push
blocking particles out of the holes in the sole plate.
Anti-Lime function:
The appliance has an Anti-lime cassette inside the water tank. It transforms lime-ions into
natrium-ions to soften calcareous water. This may reduce calcinations inside of the water tank.
Automatic cut-off
If the appliance is left at the textile while it is connected to the mains and switched on, this will
be indicated by an acoustic signal. The red control lamp will flash and the appliance will switch
into the „Standby“ mode after approx. 30-60 seconds.
Please note that the appliance will cool down very slowly. If the appliance has been
heated up shortly before there might be burn and damage on your textile when leaving the
iron standing on it, even if the appliance has switched into „Standby“ mode.
If the appliance will be left in upright position and will not be moved any more for a longer time,
it will switch into „Standby“ mode and cool down slowly after approx. 8-10 minutes. Caution! The
iron is not switched off completely then! As soon as it will be moved again it will start to heat
up again. Just when unplugged from the mains supply, the appliance is switched of completely .

After ironing:
In order to switch-off this iron completely, always unplug the iron from the mains after use.
Empty the water tank. Before storing the iron always let the appliance cool down completely.

•Caution! Danger of electrical shock! Never immerse the appliance into water. The
connector parts must not get wet. Contact of electrical parts with moisture causes
short circuit and damage.
•Unplug the appliance after each use and before cleaning, or storing it. Allow the appliance
to cool down completely.
•The appliance is provided with anti-lime-function (see also Anti-Lime function above).
•Lime and fuzz on the sole plate (ensure that it is completely cold!) can be removed with a
soft dry cloth. Never use sharp detergents or abrasive material to clean the plastic housing
or the stain less steel sole plate as it might get damaged. Tip: Use distillate water to fill the
water tank, this avoids calcinations.
•Do not put vinegar or other descaling agents into the water reservoir. Do not use chemically
descaled water.
•Do not wind the cable around the appliance while it is hot.
•Never store the cable before the appliance has cooled down completely.
•Store the appliance in a dry place which is not reachable for small children.

The guarantee period for this appliance is 36 months. The guarantee starts from the date of
purchase (cash receipt). In case of malfunction you may send the appliance add to your dealer,
information about the malfunction and the original purchase receipt (which is obligatory for a
repair free of charge)
Within the guarantee period we repair defects of the appliance, which are based on material or
manufacturing faults, in our choice by repair or exchange. These obligations do not extend the
period of guarantee. No claim on a new period of guarantee results from it.
An exact description of the complaint reduces the processing time.
