Before First Use

Important Safety Measures and Precautions
WARNING!
Read all instructions before using this Mini Oven.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use.
• Always be aware of any potential hazards such as young children or
combustible materials.
• Do not operate this appliance with an external timer or seperate
remote control system.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch
hot surfaces.
• Always place the appliance on a heat resistant surface.
• Always allow a gap around the appliance and do not cover it.
• Surfaces may be hot when the appliance is operating and hot steam
may be ejected when opening the door.

Installation
This is designed as a portable appliance and is connected to the
electricity supply by a supply plug and cord conforming to New
Zealand and Australian standards. The power for this appliance should
not exceed 1600w.
• It is highly recommended that this appliance be connected to a
power circuit with no other appliances connected.
• Do not connect through a multi outlet power board. Only directly to
the wall socket.
• Keep a minimum of 10cm free space on all sides of the appliance for
adequate air circulation.
• Keep away from combustible materials such as curtains, overhead
cupboards or flammable materials.

Over heating selection guide
This appliance has 7 cooking options to best suit your cooking needs.
Below are the descriptions of each function. The OFF position is the
first setting (9 o’clock).

Operation
FIRST TIME USE
When the appliance is first used there may be a small amount of
smoke or vapours, this is normal. The heating elements are coated
with a protective coating during transit to protect them from possible
corrosion. Plug the appliance in, select SETTING 4 and run for 3
minutes without food.
CRUMB TRAY
Always use the oven with the crumb tray fitted in the bottom as this
will make it easier to clean. Regular cleaning is advised.
To avoid the risk of fire or the appliance overheating do not let food
residue build up on the bottom of the oven and never cover the crumb
tray with metal foil.
BAKE TRAY / WIRE RACK INSTALLATION
The oven is fitted with 3 height options suitable for baking, grilling or
toasting. Position as required.
• The enamelled bake tray is designed for lower use such as baking.
• The wire rack is designed for higher oven use such as grilling or
toasting.
TIMER
The timer is used to set the cooking time. Set the timer to the desired
cooking length. Once the time is up a bell will sound. Please keep in
mind that the oven will take a period of time to reach temperature.
Note: When you set the timer always turn it past the 5 minute point as a
minimum. If set to a shorter time setting it may not operate.
CAUTION!
If the timer has not turned OFF, allow it to return to zero by itself.
The timer is mechanical and forcing it o will cause damage over
time and void warranty. If the timer has not reached zero and the
food is cooked simply switch the heating off. The timer will not
affect the cooking operation.

BASIC COOKING OPERATION
1. Select the desired element heating operation as described above.
2. Set the timer to the desired cooking time. Remember to allow time
for the oven to reach the desired temperature.
3. Adjust the thermostat dial to the desired temperature.
4. Open the door and place the oven tray with food into the oven at the
preferred height. Close the door.
5. Once finished baking, turn the temperature knob fully anti-clockwise
to 100°C and turn the function switch to OFF, turning the oven o.
6. Remove food tray using heat proof gloves.
WARNING!
When cooking the outer surfaces will reach high temperatures.
Handle with care. Make sure to use handles and knobs, and heat
proof gloves.
COOKING GUIDES
The following table shows suggested cooking times for basic food
items. These are a guide only. Always monitor and check your food
regularly and use extra caution until you become familiar with the ovens
usage.
Note:For best results using grill or bake pre heat the oven for 5-10
minutes.

Use for grilling meats, browning or toasting.

ROTISSERIE
Note: When selected the rotisserie motor will operate regardless of
whether you have the rotisserie accessory fitted or not.
The rotisserie accessory connects to the internal motor drive socket
located on the middle right of the oven wall. To fit the rotisserie,
connect one end to this drive and then fit the supporting end to the
left support of the oven wall. The rotisserie will rotate automatically
when the selection with that option is chosen.
Note: The holder only fits correctly in one position.
• Rotiserrie - The pointed end fits into the motor socket and the square
end fits into the bracket on the left wall of the oven.
• Spikes - The spikes position the meat/poultry on the rod and are held
in place using the thumbscrews.
CONVECTION COOKING
Fan Operation - The fan will operate and circulate hot air when the fan
selection mode is chosen, creating an even temperature within the oven.
This allows for convection type cooking using hot air blown throughout
the oven cavity. This feature is ideal for meats that need to be tender
and juicy on the inside and roasted on the outer.
OVEN TOP ELEMENTS
1. Select the desired element heating operation (small, large, or both)
on the selector switch.
2. Place the cookware onto the element.
3. Turn the timer dial to the desired cooking time.
4. The selected element/s will begin to heat.
Note: The elements are controlled by an internal thermostat. They will
operate without needing individual temperature adjustment.
WARNING!
Do not operate hotplates without cookware on it. This may cause
damage to the element by allowing it to overheat.

Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING!
Do not immerse this appliance or supply cord in any liquid.
• Always disconnect from the main power supply before cleaning.
• Allow the oven and all accessories to cool completely before cleaning
to avoid burns.
• Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners, metal scouring pads, metal
utensils or scouring material as they may cause damage.
THE OUTER BODY: After each use clean the outer case with a warm,
damp, clean sponge cloth and dry with a dry towel. If required use a
little mild, non-abrasive detergent on the sponge.
GLASS DOOR: Use a glass cleaner or mild detergent and a damp cloth.
Dry with a clean dry cloth.
INTERIOR: Remove the crumb tray regularly. Do not allow bread
crumbs or residual food items to build up in the bottom of the oven.
Wash the tray with hot soapy water, dry completely and reinstall before
oven use.
ACCESSORIES: Wash all accessories and trays in hot water and
detergent. Dry with a dry towel.
SUPPLY CORD AND PLUG: Do not immerse the supply cord and plug
in any liquid. If the supply cord or plug is damaged it must be replaced
by a suitably qualified person.
