Installing the Workstation 5 Adjustable Stand

This document describes how to install
the Workstation 5 Adjustable stand and
the optional Printer Power Supply.
1. Install the optional Printer Power
Supply, if required. Refer to Figure
1. Open the power supply
compartment door and attach the
AC power connector to the power
supply. Close the compartment
door.
2. Install the Optional LCD Customer
Display if required. Installation
instructions are provided with the
display.
3. Refer to Figure 2 and prepare the
workstation for mounting on the
stand.
4. Connect the AC Power Cable
supplied in the Workstation 5 loose
parts kit to the AC receptacle in the
base of the stand.
5. Cable the workstation. A pair of re-
usable tie-wraps supplied with the
stand can be used to bundle the
cables if required. Figure 2.
6. Before placing the unit on the stand,
make sure the locking latches are
unlocked and the I/O door is closed
as shown in Figure 2.

7. Place the cabled workstation in the
adjustable stand. Figure 3, below.
Place the rubber feet into the
receptacles on the Adjustable Stand.

8. When the workstation is fully
seated on the stand, turn the knobs
on the rear of the stand to the
‘Locked’ position as shown in
Figure 4, in the right column.

To provide additional security when the
unit is located in a public area, a pair of
17mm screws are provided with the
Adjustable Stand to secure the knobs in
the locked position.
9. Make sure the knobs are in the
‘Locked’ position and use the hex
wrench supplied in the workstation
loose parts kit to install the screws.
